Cyoung4real: Ronaldo is still the G.O.A.T lol. You believe that pic? Messi hasn't played up to 16 years in la liga, and Ronaldo hasn't scored up to 450 league goals his whole career of football . La Liga Stats while Ronaldo was at Madrid: Ronaldo: 311 g, 86 a, 397 g+a in 292 apps. Messi: 329 g, 122 a, 451 g+a in 309 apps. Messi played 17 more games and was involved in 54 more goals than Ronaldo was. To put that in perspective, Ronaldo would have to score or assist 54 goals in just 17 apps to catch up. Can you think of any season in which Ronaldo had up to 54 laliga goals + assists at halfway (19 games) of the season? They aren't even on the same level, man. |

bettercreature: Very bad move! You have no idea how precious your finger print is Don’t try to use your finger print on any phone or any app They should allow people to use traditional password not finger print. your finger print doesn't leave your phone. The app would only call the phone's fingerprint api and compare the current finger print with what you have stored. If it matches, you get app access. |

Too bad. The truth is there are some persons who call themselves teachers who shouldn't even be allowed around kids.
My ss3 economics teacher, a new teacher, picked on me for some weeks in first term because I was very reserved. He'd look at me and say things like "gentle people are wicked pretenders", and that I don't know anything.
I then started to leave my seat at the front for a seat at the back when it's economics period. I'd also tune out mentally and try not to get involved in his class. Still, he wouldn't leave me alone.
Things changed after his first test though. I scored the highest, and he started trying to be friendly. I couldn't pretend, and was never comfortable around him although everyone else seemed to adore him. I disliked him till I graduated. We met again some years later and he was acting like we used to be friends.
Weird part is that I didn't tell anyone at home, and didn't report to the principal either. Bullying is bad, and when it is a teacher that one is supposed to look up to that does it, it's terrible. |

So if I give a girl a ride now, she can come out and claim rape and you guys will simply believe. yup. You'd be dragged all over the internet and declared guilty before anyone bothers to listen to your side of the story. If you want to genuinely help some random girl, do it publicly. But then, Falz is Falz. Fela is Fela. Simple.
Both guys live generations apart. oga, it's called an allusion. It's a figure of speech and not meant to be taken literally. Same way Jesus called John the Baptist 'the Elijah who was to come', even when they were generations apart. No one is saying Falz is literally Fela or even on the same level. At the very least, a lot of people saw this boy homeless, day in day out living on the street and just walk on by. Even Pastors and men of God will walk past this guy and mind their business. Shame on all of us. were you the one that took action and helped get him placed in an orphanage? Speak for yourself jare. Shame on you for dismissing the good done by those who aren't responsible for the child in the first place. I guess condemning everyone makes you feel better about yourself. No, it is not a shared failure. The child didn't beg to be born. The society didn't give birth to him either. His parents did and they failed him. eghuan1: In this team, Modric can't play that role since Hazard is not a full time attacking midfielder. And how can the team be complete when Hazard, Mbape and Ronaldo play the same role?
I'd rather drop Mbape and Hazard and look for a full center forward who can use his body and is good in the air Ronaldo is more or less a CF these days, and only a few players are as good as him in the air. Messi would just drop back a bit and play as a false 9 while Ronaldo and Mbappe torment defenders with their pace, positioning and aerial prowess. We know Ronaldo likes to lurk around the box, so Hazard can make those forays on the left when Marcelo isn't overlapping. I'd pick Debruyne over Hazard in midfield though. |

Hazard can easily play the same position with Mbape or Rinaldo, so I would drop Mbape and push Hazard forward then bring in Pogba. this one na Man Utd fan |

maasoap: Now, the issue is not the phone but to be vigilant about the leakage. Because if there is a leakage and you didn't take your phone to the kitchen, once you are not aware of the leakage, there will still be Kaboom once you light up the burner. I don't know why people are shouting about the phone when we should be talking about detection of leakages and odour of the gas. If there is no leakages, phone can't cause explosion. If there is leakage, match stick or burner spark will do the job even if the phone is miles away from the kitchen well said |

Bluffly: Must you wait to Kaboom before you take precaution. Any phone can become defective, infact, most are and a defective phone can create a static electricity. Simply put, anything that can Kaboom with the gas get rid of it. Mind you, static electricity is 100% raise to 27 dangerous than be burning fire where there is vapour in the air hahaha... Don't be silly, static electricity only causes sparks which then COULD cause an explosion. How anyone would claim a tiny spark is several times more likely to cause an explosion than an already existing flame, is beyond the rational mind. If there is a leakage while cooking, the flames are more likely to cause an explosion than 100 ringing phones in the same area and sparks between a comb and dry harmattan hair. So it is a huge leap of faith to say the phone (or even static electricity) caused it and not the fire already burning at the burner. Also, static electricity can form between your cloth and skin or between your comb and hair. It's not even a phone thing. Stop peddling ignorance like a typical Nigerian who never reads or researches anything. You hear there was an explosion while using a phone and while already cooking, and you conclude the phone is the cause. You are even trying to defend the fallacious conclusion with the nonsense about static electricity being more dangerous than na.ked flames. You know nothing about static electricity and science. You are just a pseud, a Nigerian one. |

franchasng: For your info, I am a confirmed introvert, so when I speak, I speak from experience.
I am that book worm, that most intelligent student or guy you can ever imagine. I read 4 novels a day while growing up and even after graduation. I rarely go out, I bury my life inside books, reading everything readable back then, from textbooks of all subjects (science, arts, commerce, history), I finished reading Oxford English dictionary from cover to cover in 3 years, almost did same for Bible.
I started solving calculus in secondary school on my own without anybody teaching me, I broke record, my maths teacher got marveled. I was teaching JAMB students that senior me further maths, integration, etc while I was still in SS2. I helped lots of people pass WAEC and JAMB by helping them sit for exams, even while in first year, I was helping people in 300lv write their department exam, they just bring their textbook close to exam and I read and that's all. I am born genius to the glory of God, so I know what I am telling you, you won't understand it sha.
There is no novel written between 1990 - 2010 I haven't read; foreign and local.
I have participated and won so many local and foreign competitions. I have done things you will hear and marvel. I have friends but I hardly go out to visit them, they visit me at home instead.
I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't womanise, I started responding to ladies not long ago, I never had a girlfriend growing up. I was over religious growing up that I feared girls nearing me.
The only bad habit I picked up after graduation was masturbation.
So when I speak to you, listen to me.
I have all manner of friends you can think of; good and bad, cultists and pastors back then in school.
I am that kind of brainy student you know that because of his being too good, even cultists befriend me and come to me to confess their sins and ask me to pray for them.
I saved some student neighbors back in school from being forcefully initiated into cults as some cult leaders in my school will come tell me some of their plans to forcefully initiate some neighbors and I will plead on their behalf and they listen to me.
I have friends who are like me, some graduated with first class from OAU, UNN, etc, so I have all manner of friends u can think of; both those from rich family and those from very wretched family.
You seem to be talking based on hearsay, but I am talking to u based on personal real life experience, most extroverts make it faster in life after school than most introverts, its a fact.
Introverts also end up successful, but it take them more time and effort. It took me a lot of determination, consistency and perseverance to overcome my introvertic life which seemed to hold me down a lot in the past.
As for rich kids, from my personal life experience, children born by average and poor parents tend to make it more than rich kids.
Maybe you are considering Dangote's son inheriting his father's companies as being rich.
Go and check, if Dangote is worth $10billion before he dies, after he dies and his son inherits his wealth, check after 10yrs, the wealth will reduce to like $4billion, yes he is still rich but he has become poorer than his father left.
Most rich parents fail to inculcate hardwork, financial management and money wisdom skills into their rich kids, and this affect the kids later in life when their rich parents are dead and gone, that's why you hardly hear the name of children of former rich people becoming richer, especially in Nigeria, why
Their kids either kept eating and selling off their parents properties and investment to live luxury life, without knowing how to brainstorm, hustle and make their own money to increase their family fortune.
Most rich kids can't stand on their own without their rich parents connecting them to top paying jobs, and making them company executives which they most times run down, or haven't you read the viral news of Diamond Bank Plc founder Edozie whose rich son has managed to run down Diamond Bank of recent
Its always like that, so your assumptions are not entirely true, look at them again hmmm... 4 novels a day. I'm sure they were big novels too. It's even more impressive that you have read every book written between 1990 and 2010. Tell me, which in your opinion is the better Sheldon book between 'Tell me your dreams' and 'Are you afraid of the dark'? Also, what do think of 'Dog eat dog' by Niq Mhlongo? Pseud... |

aboyaji: remind me, are there Nigerians in the top 10 list?
There are places where things work than others. If you're an introvert in Nigeria and wish to vie positions with others in Nigeria, you'll be stamped and trampled on.
I use myself as example so much because, I'm facing life in its full capacity.
I'm now into pneumatic engineering. An apprentice in his 29. I'm facing life squarely because I'm the autobigrapher of my life. I'm pushing all angles to learn a skill or two. I don't want to give flimsy excuses to my unborn kids and the living family why I have not made it till this moment. I'm still squatting in my bro's house. This my bro didn't go to university but has a two bedroom clean house that reeks of opulence. He hustles for real. Has his car and married with two kids. He's an extrovert to the core. As I'm typing, we're at a bar and I'm finding it hard coping with wild life or this type of lifestyle due to inhibition. It pulls me down and I fight it with whatever strength I have. The inhibition started from home training.
But talk about business sense, whatever one can do to get money, I'm always alert and alive to churn out a handful of lists.
Different strokes for different folks. oga, whatever issue you have is not because you are introverted. You simply aren't selling any value others are willing to pay for. It's not about churning out lists. Being full of self pity or blaming introversion wouldn't change a thing either. Think of a societal/global need/problem. Come up with a marketable solution. There's no rich person that became rich simply by churning out lists, they get to work providing solutions and getting paid for it. When people 'hustle', they do just that - only on a smaller scale. NB: introversion is not even the same as social inhibition. One is cognitive and natural. The other is behavioral and learned. |
