Your contribution is vital and I inplore you not to relent. Do good to tell us how far you have gone in getting people together in P/H.
As a business planner, think about the common man and what they would not do without daily e.g brushing their teeth everyday or dressing up for work, school or night life. Here in the states,it is difficult to compete because anything you intended doing has been done by uncountable individuals. Nigeria and Africa in general has room for growth and that is why most American and European citizens are flocking our continent to take advantage of those loopholes. Think about customized online printing of promotional items, Apparel and greeting cards. How it works is; you set up your own website, where individuals and organization can go on and customize a tee shirt, cup and other gift items t their own taste. Company's like Coca Cola or MTN can easily go on your website, upload their logo and write what ever they wish to write on a promotional product and then save and pay for it.All you have to do is receive the order and outsource it to a local printing shop where they will print the custom designs on the product Coca Cola or MTN paid for. Sometimes company's do promotion on new product, they may need tee shirts that will be given out for free that has their logo and the product name that they are promoting, insteading of them going through the hassles of looking for who to print those tee shirt, all they have to do is upload their own design on your wbesite, save it on what ever product they wish to purchase, it maybe tee shirt, umbrella or cups and then make payment. Before engaging yoursekf in such biz, look for a local printer that is willing to accept a minimum order from you and also strike a deal with a local trader that deals on tee shirts, plastics and what ever item you which to have on your site.

2ruink: Impressive contributors: that is what you are. The beauty of number is beginning to manifest and I can announce most confidently that with God on our side, this organization (on the verge of existence) will bring forth the worthy ideas we have for long waited for.
I want to thank you all in a very special way for your time given towards the sustainability of this thread. I actually had an intensive project. So intensive that I literally sacrificed every moment of relaxation. Happy tho that the project is accomplished now, I'm therefore, here to give full attention to your good and creative comments. It feels good to see that you have already started discussion on how to organize meetings. This is a clear demonstration of passion. Let me say it again that I'm proud of what you have done so far. If we continue with good determination, passion and understanding among ourselves, there is no limit to what we can achieve as a group - money itself shall be one of the credence attributable to our unanimous attainment. Cheers!!!
I read your thread with great interest, challenges you may encounter as an business organization are inability to execute a project in group, greed, unreliable members of your organizations, secrecy and the culture of get rich quick . Why would a honest person ask you to email them before they share advise on a public forum? I would advise you visit Namibian or other African country's social network where young entrepreneurs meet to discuss ways forward and learn from them.I am a Nigerian, based in the USA, I hate discussing business with lots of Nigerians because they are intellectually challenged rather they hijack your own idea. I am willing to share meaningful biz ideas with young and energized Nigerians on this forum provided it will reduce crime rate and increase employment.

Business / USA Warehouse Ready To Ship:drilling And Well Service Equipment SALE ! ! ! by Pacemaker: 12:03pm On Jul 21, 2012
I can be called jack of all trade sometimes by my fellow forumites, what I will say is, I am very passionate about bridging the gap between the west and Nigeria by all means necessarily either by Importing Technology or Clothing and Apparel.
In this case,I have a warehouse load of inventory for Drilling and Well Service Equipment that I would like to ship to Nigeria, due to past dealings with some Nigerians I have come to the conclusion that any shipment en-route to Nigeria, will not be sold on credit and that it will be cash . My price are very competitive, all machinery were previously used by Connoco-Phillips,Haliburton and some other Oil servicing companies in New Orleans. Serious buyers should contact me if they are interested in purchasing Petroleum drilling Equipment. If I don't have what you need on my inventory I can go as far as searching other warehouses for it.
Some Samples are:
Drill Pipe, String & Near Bit Stabilizers, 12-1/4in, 6-5/8in Reg Box x Pin, Screw on Blades, Gamma
Hoist or Lift, Pulley, Whip Line Block,
Mud Pump, Parts, Module, Suction, National, Low Pressure, S/N TN496904-2, Part# 1292612, UNUSED, Qty 1
Pump, Trailer, Wacker, Model PT6, 614-SPT, w/Engine, Lombardini, Model 11LD-625-3, w/Bill of Sale, Qty 1
Meter, Run, Superior, 12in, 600#, 46ft L, Bore 11.75in, Model CWP-1480, S/N 12300, Qty 1

So many more just name it and I will get it. Remember these are large machines and they will be shipped in a Container
Business / Re: Want To Start My Own Small Business In Lagos: Need Sound Advice, HELP! by Pacemaker: 10:41am On Jul 21, 2012
[quote author=Flabanx]Hello Omotola

Thanks for your candid advice, you kind of echoed what my heart is telling me. And yes, you are 100% right i'm hoping to start a business that will help me diversify into the other businesses that i mentioned subsequently.

Dear Emoyol, i hear you loud and clear. With my limited resources, i still want to do things properly as i'm not a spring chicken and have family responsibilities, so my margin for error is virtually non-existent. You sound like you would know who i can speak to on a good pro feasibility study/business plan (obviously, inexpensive o wink).

I am most grateful to you all for all this invaluable free advice; i am all fired up and really excited. Please keep it coming. A million thanks.

Be-careful of jobless Nigerians that are here to prey your hard earned cash. Consumers goods are important when considering business in Nigeria. I would advise you first volunteer yourself to a restaurant around your neighborhood for few weeks to gain first hand experience. Don't listen to those Nigerians asking you to start farming business without revealing the pros and cons...Good luck bruv

The ATM mastercard you guys use,the photo copy machine you use to make copies, your video camera and your international passport can be used to monitor anyone that is considered a national threat. You can't say you want to go baack to ice age because your privacy has been breached

Billyonaire: The question should be, each time you tell your girlfriend I love you on phone, does anyone else hear you apart from you and your girl ? Dont know Beaf though, I love his explanatory notes on N'land.

You have spoken like a typical Nigerian, why do you people like exagerating or love blowing rumours out of proportion? Do you think American government will spend their resource to monitor your activity online?I hope you know that most modern cars require diagnosis before undergoing repair? In other for you to see the result the data has to be transmitted, that means that same car where about can be tracked from the US. Do you think the cars you guys drive in Nigeria are not bugged ? Do you know that your cell phone,TV, laptop and other device with wifi or 3g capability you guys use in Nigeria are bugged? I did my university internship in General Dynamics in California,You have to be an American citizen to work there and I can tell you that from what I saw, nothing under the sky is secret. In clussion, your MTN scracth card has chips that can give you away in less than ten seconds and what ever tabloid wikileak guy released is a public secret and there ain't nothing sensitive in it.

schendy: Truth is, water still remains the best cleanser for the womanliness. All these chemical based creams, wipes or what have you, usually have adverse effect at a latter date. With the high rate of cervical cancer, chlamydia n other diseases that now abound, for me, water it is all the way.

Water is not as safe as you think, mostly water in Nigeria. Protozoa infection, hypathetise A and E and numerious others can be transmitte through water. Back in Nigeria when we were younger our parents used to add dettol in our water, which helped in preventing rashes, what's your take on that?
Health / USA Dermatology Recommended Menstrual Wipes And Vag Wash For Odour Prevention? by Pacemaker: 11:59am On Jul 14, 2012
Due to the Condition Of Nigeria's weather, our body heat generates a harsh smell, your regular bathroom soap would not be able to cure such smell. I was expecting to see a thread that mentioned internal body cleaner. As a boyfriend, I would not want my lady to look good outside and smell like dead rat inside after a long day at work or at the gym and even after the completion of her menstrual cycle . You can not go wrong with womanliness washing cream during shower and wipes for the end of monthly menstrual cycle . Women sweat a lot around their pubic area and mostly in weather like that of Nigeria, we are licensing a USA branded product for that market in Nigeria and west Africa, interested distributors should contact us for further inquiry at gloreminvestment@gmail.com . Opinion and criticism from Nigerian ladies are highly welcomed on this thread. This product contains high level PH which helps kill any form of VV infection.
Smelling good is good business grin

Hello All,
I have been reading your comments from 2009 till date, I was expecting to see a thread that mentioned internal body cleaner. As a boyfriend, I would not want my lady to look good outside and smell like dead rat inside after sweating or her period is over. You can not go wrong with Vagina washing cream during shower and wipes for the end of monthly menstrual cycle . Women sweat a lot around their pubic area and mostly in weather like that of Nigeria, we are licensing a USA branded product for that market in Nigeria and west Africa, interested distributors should contact us for further inquiry at gloreminvestment@gmail.com

@Poster, traditional method of marketing is the best way to gain audience. Please avoid people that demand for you to email them for more information. I would not advise internet marketing for now in Nigeria because Nigerians are visual shoppers . I live in the USA and prefer selling offline to wholesale buyers in Nigeria, I only come to NL to source for resellers....Best of Luck
