Followed this thread with keen interest. I am a new dad,my daughter is less than three weeks old, my wife was having same b.r.east feeding issue until her cousin introduced her to a herbal product for mothers. This product worked like magic,as I type I am looking at introducing same product in Nigerian market. If I may ask mothers on here, products that enhances production of b.r.east milk are they available in the Naija market? This is something that will be of help to most mothers undergoing same problem in Nigeria and If anyone have information on this product in Naija please contact me at emma_nd@yahoo.com lets talk. I am based in the states and the manufacturers are also based out here....Cheers 3 Likes 3 Shares |

2Ruinks, Glad we still have the flame burning. If a group like BH that's a menace to Naija can be well organized why won't a group that is thriving to portray Naija youths in a positive form well organized? A branch of this group should be strictly for consultancy, so that funds can be generated to maintain the organization. It's not a one man group, everyone has a role to play in the development. I would like to see more professionals, lawyers, accountant, engineers signing up. I will be in Naij sometime next year and for sure I will attend a meeting section. 1 Like |

Yeah I could decode your handle. The business I made mention of above is home based, you don't need to see your clients but talk to them on the phone. hispinkolo: Thanks Rooney,Pacemaker..Come to think of it, how did you come up with such a funny handle? If we start talking about how our relatives and friends took advantage of our hard earned dollars this thread will get to 105pages. There are a lot you can do in the UK since they have steady power supply and internet service. You can arrange a booking website for Nigeria's tourist to the UK, think of ways to provide their immediate need. Become their tour guide, arrange rental car, secure a place for them to stay(home renting for a week or two) and direction to buy goods. Just a suggestion I don't really know much about UK 1 Like |

hispinkolo: Nice topic,i am female and reside in the uk.I tried ebay but was losing.I also tried the portable battery phone charger biz in naija and got badly burnt,my cousin ate all my money and absconded. You are not alone in the department of distrust. I have tried helping relatives and friends back home but they have proved to me multiple times that their incompetents and greed is their birth mark that no matter what happens it can never be erased.Listen to your hubby and If you would like to do biz in naija, your presence matters a whole lot. Rooneyboy: Again I remember that other noodles that was introduced----- the one that was to be cooked with hot water ,not sure that brand is still on our shelves in nigeria. There are multiple circumstance that can affect business in Nigeria not just what you mentioned above. What if the company that were producing those product banked their money in wema or savannah bank? I won't judge from the surface. |

iyke10: When you subtract out the sleeping time, commuting time, working time and things you have to do each and everyday of your life, most people don't have more than one or two hours a day to do what they would like to do - and then would they have the money to do it the answer most times is If you don't have useful stuff to say please stop spamming this thread? Politics / Re: What Do You Do When Your Proposal Is Hijacked. by Pacemaker: 3:51pm On Sep 24, 2012 |
Nigeria's justice system goes to the highest bidder. I have vowed not to submit or discuss useful business proposal with private or government sectors in Nigeria without having it recorded on video. I rather post their wrong dealings on YouTube that going to a kangaroo court to fight for my right. I drafted a brilliant proposal to the GEJs administration through the help of a former ministry, this was an environmental issue that I planned on solving in the Niger Delta region. I brought in experts from the US without signing NDA after trusting on the parties involved. To my greatest surprise I read on a Nigeria's newspaper that same contract was given to a company in Nigeria. I saw my blue print on the supposed contract, I called the parties involved and they refused to pick my calls. No amount of English spoken or advise given on here will change the criminal minds of intellectually lazy civil servant and staff of privately owned companies. I hope in the near future merit would be what defines a business man in that country. |

stpat1:I will act as you guys Liason officer in the states and with time I will send business ideas to your private group mailing list. There are so much money making holes in naija that needs urgent fillings. Security for luxury buses plying Lagos route to East, Lagos to North, East to North, Lagos to Ghana an entrepreneur can create a market from that using a remote access network to help transport companies. |

Rooneyboy: Ok people, been so busy lately but I'm so glad to c most guys are still showing a lot of enthusiasm, It really gladdens my heart I must confess.I would not advise you volunteer your resident for now,get to know the people you are dealing with first, one of the greatest challenges in Naija is security. I believe they have Halls or club houses in Lagos that are free. Anyone that knows a hotel manager can request for three hours usage of their facilities. They have bars in Lagos that are open during the day, target hours that have less traffic and then set up the meetings around it. |

Business / Re: 5 Proven Tips To Become A Multi-millionaire In Nigeria by Pacemaker: 9:56pm On Sep 22, 2012 |
[quote author=pro01]@ Topic, Nice tips, at least on paper. But it takes a whole lot more to become a multi-millionaire in countries like Nigeria where meritocracy is an alien concept and where the rule of law is absent. However, one can never go wrong by developing skills that can be commercialised, or creating products or services that solve problems. These two principles are timeless. The problem, unfortunately, is that only a very small minority of people have the requisite innate abilities, discipline, and 'luck' to achieve these. Nice one. |

Business / Re: Guys, Let's Talk Business by Pacemaker: 9:21am On Sep 22, 2012 |
Majority of the businesses I made mention of are cash intense and with employment potential for a whole lot of unemployed graduates if utilized wisely. I have Naija and Indian friends that work's for Amazon, which started as a regular neighborhood website with less than 5 employees. As we speak they have more than 500 employees, from engineering to business major. The owner is now an employer of labor and well respected by Americans. |
