CelebritiesRe: Rihanna Shows Off Baby Bump In New Photos by pacespot(m): 7:02pm On Feb 03, 2022
Why that this trend of showing off baby bump is only common among black women?

I stand to be corrected if you see any white women doing this baby bump showing as our black women
AutosRe: Inside Dangote multi Billion naira car assembling plant (photos) by pacespot(m): 6:59pm On Feb 03, 2022
What are Yorubas billionaires doing while watching Dangote taking all the initiatives in the South West. That Globacom owner Mike Adenuga is just a useless man. He doesn't know that if Dangote should start manufacturing cars like, he will soon be the one to manufacture all the tech equipment needed by his company.
PoliticsRe: Anyim: inovation, Science, And Technology The Key To Nigeria’s Economic Survival by pacespot(m): 6:17pm On Feb 03, 2022
Does this man even know the meaning of science and technology he is talking about?

Forget it, anyone other than youth in that presidency, na still the same story we go hear in the end. Old politics can never leave the camp of these old men.

I am not saying Nigerian youths are saints, but I can see the hunger for change in them. Anyone to destabilize the current Nigerian system is a good start.
TravelRe: Why Are Nigerians So Desperate To Leave This Country? by pacespot(m): 12:02pm On Feb 03, 2022
I think the right question should be "why do we still have some people staying back and refuse to leave the country"

Nigeria is not a normal country my friend, you need to be outside of the country to understand the meaning of that statement.

Do you know that in Nigeria, someone that is bitter can destroy your years of hardwork without being made to face any repercussions unless you can fight on your own to get your justice?

There is no rule of law in this country, the existing laws are governed by the wish and sentiments of few individuals called cabals or connected people.
SportsRe: Mason Greenwood Suspended By England Team Amid Rape Probe by pacespot(m): 11:50am On Feb 03, 2022
Why is it that it is so easy for these big organizations to turn their back on people? Someone that was accused by a bitter ex which hasn't yet been proven by the court, he is already suspended by the club, country and anywhere he conducts his business.
NYSCRe: OGFZA Rejects Corper Ejiro Kpolugbo For ‘Lacking Political Connection’ by pacespot(m): 11:29am On Feb 03, 2022
Not "political connection" but because she was perceived as not being rich. The gravest sin you can commit in Nigeria is looking for a job meant for the rich while you look poor. That is why people do packaging a lot in Nigeria. The way Nigerians look down on "poor" people mehn, you would wish you never came to this country.

when there is competition the masses will enjoy
How many commoners do u see using innoson?

The same competition that makes u buy SIM card for 50 naira now instead of 20k they sell it then
I agree with you, i will not pray to leave Nigerian automobile industry in the hands of the Igbos, seeing what they are doing in the consumer goods imported to the country presently. Though price is not a determinant for an automobile company to thrive, if so, the likes of Benz, Tesla and supercars like Lamborghini and Royal Royce wouldn't have been able to be competitive in the market. But price must be accompanied by product quality and convenience of usage. Only a competitive market can ensure this for the final consumers.

CrimeRe: Be Careful, Evil People Are Everywhere. My Experience. by pacespot(m):
7victor:
Be warned: Do not pick any item on the ground for any stranger.

One must be very careful of people.

We must be careful because evil people are looking for someone to use and make quick money.

The first few days I arrived Katsina state to start living, I didn't know that people already observed I was new and that I was already a target.

I thought among many people, no one would really know/care that I was a new comer.

But evil people know you more than you ever think.

That was how I was coming on one lonely road. I was the only one on that road.

I saw a man standing afar off and was pointing to the ground that I should go back and carry something on the floor.

I looked and discovered that non of my items was missing, so it was not that my item fell down for him to be insisting I should go back and carry it.

But the man was insisting and was becoming desperate. He was getting angry and frustrated.

I didn't understand the whole thing but I just kept walking which was towards the man.

When he knew I wasn't going back to bring the item, he started walking towards the item, ie, he was walking towards the direction I was coming.

When he reached me, he said he wanted me to help him bring a cloth which was tied in a circular manner.

I just walked passed him while he walked over to pick up the item. It was then I saw the cloth, which I didn't see when the man was pointing at it. I believe God closed my eyes from seeing the cloth so that I would not pick it for him.

Just at the nick of him picking his cloth, I turned to look at him, but he was no where to be found.

It seems like he suddenly disappeared immediately he picked his item because the road is still far and I would have seen him still walking.

I thank God that I didn't really understand what the man wanted me to do because I would surely have picked the item to give to the man and who knows what would have become of me?

Maybe I would have disappeared.

I believe the man followed me from my area and when he saw I would enter the lonely road, he must have
quickly followed the other way and dropped the item, then went back to wait for me. This is the man I have never met from Adam, but like most evil people, he already knew me.

Infact, the very moment I turned and didn't see the man, I knew on a high state of conviction that the man wanted to do me evil.

We must be careful because people are missing because some evil people want to make quick money.

Don't think that nobody knows or cares about you. Of course, evil people care about you. They know you and they may have decided on which charms you would fit or what evil they may do you.

The first day you enter a new state, place or country, there are people whom you don't know who know you and are already scheming things.

Evil people you have not ever seen already know you.

Many people have had numerous bad experiences with these evil people, so we must be very careful.

Just watch how some of them would come here and be blasting me, calling me names just for posting this.
While I might not understand the fetish part, I have come to understand that evil or bad people are often more concerned about what is going on in other people's lives than themselves, they will be monitoring every inch of the step taken by the other person.

My best advice to good-hearted Nigerians out there is that: be reluctant to make new friends in the today's country, keep your safe distance and avoid talking to a stranger anyhow unless when you need to do so. Give people little knowledge about yourself unless those ones you have built trust together with and when you see a strange or suspicious sign, don't be hesitant to call police. Don't trust anybody after you have discovered a suspicious sign even if they look trustworthy to you, call the police or any immediate help.
CelebritiesRe: Tiwa Savage Demands 2022 Hilux, Iphones, Others As Birthday Presents (pix) by pacespot(m): 10:54am On Feb 02, 2022
hatchy:
Davido have set up a pace that you all now follow.....a very bad precedence.

It baffles me how the Black African sees wealth. Many rich men and women from the business circle up to the entertainment industry don't have a charity organisation they run or support instead it is how to collect from the society they all know.
What have you given back to this same society that made you who you are. How much have you donated to charity organisations,NGOs etc. We have many Billionaires and countless millionaires yet a whole lot do nothing to help the needy. We are very selfish and greedy such that the rich even collect what is meant for the poor and add to his own. We need to change our orientation and mindset and start to care about each other. This is where the white man is different from us. He can will his entire wealth to charity. He donates certain portion of his wealth back to the society but ours is the reverse.
Tiwa, you have made money, God have blessed you, the society helped you so give back and stop looking for ways to accumulating what you don't need.

We move.
The problem is not even Tiwa but some Simping Nigerian men (likely elderly men) who are already thinking of using that 2022 black Hilux to get access to Tiwa's black pvssy. These ladies make demands because there are always men who answer their call. It is a natural thing of some humans to use their advantage for self gains. So Tiwa is using her fame for beggi beggi.

The way they are treating this boy's case, you will think he is the one responsible for corona virus pandemic. He is just a boy with so much youthful exuberance, though agreed he is above 18, but he is still a boy. Just because of a bitch, they want to destroy this boy's career, a bitch that was probably dating him for money and fame. This is one of the downsides of Western culture and so called civilization. This case is simply a domestic abuse between two lovers, it should not go into a criminal proceeding like this. Give the boy some community restrictions and a few months behind bar and even fine. But why his career and entire future is being threatened just because of a single act like this huh
Foreign AffairsRe: UN, ECOWAS Condemn Attempted Coup In Guinea Bissau by pacespot(m): 7:35pm On Feb 01, 2022
It is like all these smaller African countries are now awakening to the reality of this hopeless continent, only Nigeria still allows itself to be governed by the same group of corrupt old guard, instead of taking the lead. Though military coup might not be the answer to the current Nigerian system.

PoliticsRe: Amaechi: China No Longer Give Us Money, We’re Asking Europe For Loans by pacespot(m): 3:00pm On Feb 01, 2022
Africa needs to improve on this their foreign policy on money lending, if you borrowed money externally on the currency that is not yours, then you will have to sniff out your nose to pay back the money including the interests. This is the greatest advantage that America and European countries are benefitting from the current international political economy in the world of today. These countries have access to cheap loans because they are the minters of the currency in which the loans will be procured. They don't have to worry about skyrocketing interest rates because foreign and domestic creditors troop in to buy American and European bonds due to their safe haven nature. You cannot buy an American government's bonds in other currency other than USD, same with Euro bonds i.e. Euro. So if anything happens in future that the US or European governments cannot pay back their bond holders, they can easily print more currency through their central banks to settle their creditors, this is possible because they have made sure that all of their issued out bonds are domiciled in USD and Euro respectively. This single advantage is the reason while a USA or European firm will never lack funding in the current international financial system, because they are the money itself.
FoodRe: See The pepper and tomatoes I bought for 3K in kano today by pacespot(m): 2:36pm On Feb 01, 2022
Anything that igbos are not involved in is cheaper in the market. I am sure if igbos were agrarian people like the North, prices of food items in Nigeria would have been the highest in the world. This tribe is just too money-grubbing. They are the ones promoting the current rising inflation in the country, because when farmers are now paying two or three times of the price they used to buy industrial/imported products before, they too will increase the prices of their agriculture produce to compensate for the lost value of their money.

FashionRe: Lady Cried As Laser Treatment To Remove Tribal Mark Left Worse Scars by pacespot(m): 11:10am On Feb 01, 2022
Yorùbá parents should stop inflicting this archaic culture on their children. I don't know what is good in a culture that seeks to destroy the naturally beautiful faces of children. I believe many of our forefathers who started this tribal mark culture would have abandoned it in today's world. Yorùbá has so many beautiful cultures, but this one is a NO to me.
TV/MoviesRe: Nigerian Movies And Craze For Mansions And Big Cars by pacespot(m): 10:57am On Feb 01, 2022
IgbuduMonkey:
I have noticed a phenomenon over the years of Nigerian movie directors using big mansions and cars in their productions. It's okay if it helps the plot, but most times, the storyline would be perfectly depicted using a more relatable average Nigerian house and car. In American movies, you hardly see them portray superlative riches unless it's relevant to the plot.

Has any other person noticed this or it's just me?
I believe they pay more to hire those big mansions than the actual money spent to produce the movie. grin grin grin

Nigerians and Africa at large have a long way to go. Now you see the reason why UAE does not want to renew their work permit.

It has become a madness the way people see money before anything in this country.
