To address Nigeria's irresponsible leadership issue, we need a more balanced and equitable share of political powers in the government in this country.

Starting with the military, people wonder why the military are so corrupt and act with brash impunity in Nigeria. The Hausas and other Northern tribes hold most of key powers that govern the affairs of the armed forces.

This is very bad for a country that is battling corruption at every level of government. Abba Kyari should have been a forgone criminal rotten in jail or hell by now if we had had these equal shares of powers in this country. Corruption is emboldened by this singular arrangement of power sharing.

I don't know if there is a sin that the ancestors of Yoruba's and other southern Nigeria tribes committed which made God to use a country like Nigeria to curse them. Hausa/Fulani's are the only people happy with the current system in this country. They want the control of power by all means even against the development of their own people, this attitude is impeding the potentiality of other Nigerian tribes. Coupled with their evil religion (Islam) which does not treat humans with dignity, for instance, take a look at how the Saudis and other Arabs states are treating their house helps who are black in their countries, it is a shame that we allowed such practice to permeate through the largest black nation on earth.

I don't think this country is ever going to become an industrial power if this unbalanced share of powers persists.

1.Foreign governments have been rather cross about the substandard oil being used in Nigeria...it worsens the environment, and environment concerns are big in the West .

2.Many African countries refine their crude in Belgian bad refinereis to keep costs down. (If they used an environmentally frendly and standard refinery in the same Belgium, the cost of fuel would have been above N600 per liter)

3.But since it keeps the cost of fuel low, many African countries use the refinery.

Right now, landing cost of fuel is N282, if not at N290 for Nigeria, whil we sell it at N163. Meaning we pay at least N120 per liter in subsidy.

If we went to a standard belgian refinery, and got standard fuel, the landing cost would be around N800 or above, and subsidy costs would rise accordingly.

4.We can stop this by building a refinery at home. But Nigerians want cheap fuel..and would insist on the refinery selling fuel at N40 or less per liter, meaning we run into losses, and the refinery breaks down. That's why if we want to stop this, we not only build a refinery at home, but we pay them the price they want for the fuel they refine. Not set it at N40 and pay a subsidy that does not cover losses at all.

America learned about the Soviet missiles in the Caribbean and Cuba and freaked out bc of the extremely close proximity of the Soviets’ military infrastructure. With Soviet missiles that close, America would not have sufficient time to analyze, evaluate and respond to a potential threat. America went nuts, demanded the Soviets immediately remove the missiles.
The Soviets had made the same complaints and demands about America’s nuclear missiles in Italy and Turkey. The United States said those missiles were defensive. After the Soviets responded in kind putting the same in the Caribbean and Cuba, America said the missiles were an aggressive threat.
The Cuban Missile Crisis had begun. The Soviets were not the aggressors, they were the respondent.
The United States wasn’t having it and began plans to invade Cuba, put 100,000 plus troops on Florida beaches, set up an illegal Naval blockade in the Caribbean blocking all ships from reaching Cuba and the United States, flew Spy Planes over Cuba (which got shot down, killing Air Force Pilot Rudolph Anderson). The U.S. also attacked Soviet submarines which were lawfully patrolling in international water and hadn’t fired on anyone.

Putin has amassed his extraordinary military machinery and has told the world that NATO missiles are NOT going into Ukraine. Putin has also demanded the West remove its missiles from the former Soviet states surrounding Russia.

Putin will win this battle, NATO and the rest of the world will agree to restore the status quo and remove NATO missiles. If the Biden / NATO missiles currently on their way actually enter Ukraine, you will see Putin respond with the use of his vast military.

The fact is, Russia as a country (with just population of about 80 million people) is sitting on a massive 17 millions kilometers squares of landmass that is very rich in minerals and weather. The USA and its allies want a share of this Russia's massive land. But with the emergency of the new world power in Asia, China, they fear that this dream will never become a reality for them. Russia alliance with China has never been stronger. Bar any racial sentiment that can emanate between them, both countries can rule the world for many decades to come.

The USA and its Western allies understand this reality and try to use Ukraine as a bargaining tool against Russia. The endgame is to force the former Soviet power into signing some treaty which will severe ties with its Asian friends. China is the primary target of USA in all of this conflict.

Charges are relative but I have never worked with a Nigerian. People should be focused on improving their skills more than anything. If you know your value in web development and how to market it, people will definitely come to you.
