Believe me. Nigerians are not the only Nationality involved in scams. The main reason why we are always in the news is because we get caught. I guess we aint as smart as we think. If we are so smart, then why cant we make anything work in our country? From roads to simple roadside kiosks we cant seem to get it right!

gboss4sure: The only solution is to turn to Christendom, Arabian Muslims feel superior to black Muslims and mainly Nigerian Muslims just like the northerner Muslims feel superior to youroba Muslims but if there is a little cartoon of Muslims, those Arab Muslims will instigate the black Muslims to protest cause they are just tools used for violence where there country enjoys peace.

The Arabs have no iota of respect for the black man. Anyone in doubt should do a research on the Arab Slave Trade. It was incomparable to the transatlantic slave trade. Very few Africans survived the Arab Slave Trade. If you still doubt me ask yourself the following.

1.How many of Negroes are domiciled/citizens in Arabia today?
2. How many Negroes are domiciled/citizens in the western world today?

Tell yourself the truth! Most of the Black Slaves were hacked to death @ the slightest provocation.

Most African Muslims are wannabes seeking the elusive acceptance of the often proud and hyper-prejudiced Arab Muslims. They receive very little regard except for the few dollars they bring along for their Hajj. Wake up! Sons of Nubia. Wake Up. Religion is a Fleece! How many Saudi Arabians have lost their lives over the so called blasphemies against "Big Mo" to date? Tell Me! undecided

Your post cut through the hearts of the insecure .............. shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Your post did nothing but expose your web of lies and two-side personality.

Oops, perhaps I missed the memo, so what's the memo again? Oh, it's now your view on the issue? huh huh huh huh I forgot that OP was expressing his own view as well when you condemned him... shioor

Unfortunately, you did not attack the message as neither incorrect or invalid, rather, you expressed your "own view" based on what you deduced; Africans falling for U.S. visas. Perhaps, you have some kind of personal vendetta against someone or something in the U.S., nonetheless, I'll borrow your own comment "but see the reaction of a jaundiced few", so that puts you in line as one of those few.
I see u got loads of bile to spill. Keep fooling yourself under the delusion that you are making any sense. It's really a pity undecided

manny4life: I just re-edited your post.

Isn't it ironic how you write this YET you claimed you did your masters in that same place? After all, weren't you having a happy life back home in your Nigeria? Are you trying to say that your masters did not improve (directly or indirectly) on the quality of your life? What your type is, you do the same thing which you publicly condemn (two-sided person, speaking from two sides of your mouth)
I can now see how deep my post cut through the hearts of the insecure. I meant to pass my own view of an issue expecting a matured discussion,,,but see the reaction of a jaundiced few.

coogar: considering the fact that 500,000 pregnant mothers die annually in nigeria, i don't think it's out of place for anyone to go abroad and ensure safe delivery. it's a no brainer!!
Dont just come here and quote fictitious numbers just to support your lean argument! What is thy source? From my last check the maternal mortality is around 60,000 (840 deaths/100,000 live births). Infant mortality is 74.36 deaths/1,000 live births. Please get your facts right!

justwise: You are being too faced here, why did you not study in Nigeria? You paid millions of naira just to get US visa and study there, by the way...how did you manged badly to understand the purpose of this thread?
I understand your fears. No one likes anything that challenges their fixated view of the world. No one likes anything that sheds light on their innate fear of the future, especially in a country that offers little or no hope. May God Grant U All US Visas. I wish U all a Blissful Life Ahead. Okay?
No mind am...Who doesn't like better tin. Y U NO do ur masters for Nigeria. Abi Unilag IMSU and UNICAL no dey? So much for mental slavery. Abeg cut the crap jare. There are more educational, financial and job opportunities in the U.S and everybody knows that. And the system is favorable to an hardworker (which must nigerians are). I would grab an opportunity to the U.S with both hands and I don't blame anybody else who does the same.
I guess you "Tag Line" says it all! It says exactly what I think : "Don't take me too serious..."

Thanks for that. I would do exactly that ! cheesy

justwise:

This is coming from the same person who studied and married in US?
Did my comment suggest or imply any condemnation of the US? I only expressed my amazement at the level of desperation & reverence for US Visas. The fact remains that US Visas will never be the ultimate passport to eternal bliss. A wrong attitude is a ticket to failure regardless of where you reside. The right attitude and tenacity of purpose will open doors for you in any clime. I still pray that we all free ourselves from mental slavery. Opportunities exist everywhere. If you are observant you will notice that a lot of our white brothers are moving to Africa & South East Asia in search on the massive opportunities in these economies. Growth has really peaked in the US & EU for most sectors. Africa is one of the few markets with inherent opportunities for growth!

tellwsdom: Why didn't u to stay in NIGERIA for your masters?? U even went all the way , having a wife there! Why U.S OGA?? ***Anybody can be anything on NL anyway*** undecided undecided
How does that relate to my comment. How does that imply that I consider a US Visa a ticket to eternal bliss. I'm amazed @ the kind of characters that have invaded the once pristine and civil Nairaland. It's high time Seun embarks on a massive purge of "Illegal Immigrants" on Nairaland. May be he should start issuing visas too. No visa, No Posts.

I'm just baffled by the way US/UK visas are reverred and worshipped by Africans. This poster makes it look as if a denial of these visa is a denial to a happy life. As if the visas are a ticket to eternal life. God free us from mental slavery. Amen.
