What was the experience like and what should I expect?

What kind of questions are they likely to ask ? and is there any kind of preparation I can do to increase my chances ?

Why do i feel some people are counterfeiting the naira.

Because no one can really explain why there is an infinite amount of Naira in circulation. Even if the naira was free floating by now it should have reached an equilibrium. It should have pegged itself.

The only reason why the naira can be dropping till infinity is if the production is unlimited, because salary has not even been increased yet. Only thing that could account for daily devaluation is if someone other than the CBN is printing naira. Counterfeiters ?

To be realistic, no amount of salary increments can resolve this.

This is very serious, the government has to act now........There are so many African countries, who do not even produce crude oil or subsidize forex but their local currency is stable.

The government should declare a state of emergency right away, this currency devaluation is getting out of control.

Though I will like to chip that I think the problem is more from the supply side than the demand side.

On Tuesday, it was announced that the CBN was selling fx to the market for the first time since September.
They gave so many reasons why they have witheld dollars from the market but to be honest, none of it makes too much sense.

If there's no supply, even if demand remains steady, price will continue to climb

Recession is a relative term, if you have a business that generates N10M per quarter but in the last two quarters, you were only able to generate 9M and 8M respectively, then you are in recession (this is an analogy)

However, if I have a business that does N50k monthly and in the last two quarters, I was able to make N60k and 70k respectively, then I am NOT in recession, even though you are still way wealthier than I am in the example.

So what I am saying is, recessions are different from each other especially when comparing between developed countries and underdeveloped countries

You are right.

Look at it this way, if a man is in humoungous debt, will he use his entire salary to start paying the debts while his family starve .

The sensible thing is to have a repayment plan for all these debts while maintainig some parts of our recurrent crude revenue to supply liquidity to the fx market.

I understand that right now, the CBN/NNPC does not supply a single dollar to the fx market hence the freefall of the naira, since there's very little to meet demand

What's the essence in creating more bodies.

Why not review the bills creating institutions like FRSC and VIO or some other body so the new responsibilities can be added to them.

This will only lead to a more bloated Government, opposite direction to the never implemented recommendations of the Oronsaye panel

I have used both and I can say Honda products have a more luxury feel than Toyota - the power steering, the engine, the interior but what it gains in luxury, it losses in ruggedness.

If your use case is work - house - church etc, you're good to go but if you require a more rigorous usage, not the best idea

If you were previously using a Benz and you later opt for a Toyota, yeah it might be good maintenance and fuel consumption wise but in terms of handling and buzz, it's a massive downgrade
