The problem with the internet is that it gave the most unintelligent folks and avenue to express their emptiness.
Just like the author of this post.

First, where on the planet did you get the impression that Niger Deltans think Igbos are their problems?

Secondly, this notion that Yoruba and the North are cheating the Niger Delta is cock and bull. The north is b far the most underdeveloped region in Nigeria. I have been across and it surely is one of the poorest and most backward places on the planet. If that's what they get for cheating the Niger Delta , then its really not an envy to aspire to.
The South West is not an better. Poverty, Hopelessness et al. Same with the South East.

If what you are saying is that the Northern elite is beating the southern elite in the game of stealing the resources of the collective Niger Delta, then I will agree with you. But no, the North is not in anyway cheating as it is the biggest victim of the Nigerian state, its just that the masses are just too foolish to see it.

And FYI, there is a clear reason why the Niger Delta doesn't want to be a part of Biafra and that doesn't in anyway equate to hatred for Igbos.
IPOB built a movement that is colored and patterned by Igbos and for Igbos only. Its meetings are held in Igbo. Its dispositions are Ibo. And its entire leadership is Ibo. To expect the Niger Delta to just jump on that bandwagon is just a clear case of naiveity.

Having a garden at our backyard doesn't in anyway save the black world.

Rather we should have Ag/Food tech labs in our garages. That's what will give us value.

Look at Cocoa with 70% produced in West Africa valued at less than $5 Billion, while Chocolate, a mere by product of Cocoa is valued at over $120 billion.

We need to learn how to add value to our produce and that's not going to happen with gardens at our backyard.

Tackled which recession?? Was it recession Buhari went to treat in London??

It is apparent Buhari is the problem of this country.

Antime he goes to London, things get better. Then he omes bak and things start to spoil again.

The first time he went to London, CBN quickly started a new FOREX policy that stabilized the Naira. Since then the Naira has remained stable versus the catastrophic 2 years of rabid volatility in exchange rates when he was around.

He went to London again and Osibanjo was in charge and the Economy did not exactly improve, but at least it stopped declining.

Wacth as things begin deteriorating again now that our know-nothing-President is back.

Who grew Lagos state's IGR from N500 million/month to N23 billion/month? Fashola.

Who grew and left the largest state IGR in the history of Nigeria for Ambode to work with? Fashola

You really need to worry more about your poor and backward village for a change because Fashola or Ambode, Lagos remains on the move.

Lagos state has and will continue to have the best IGR in Nigeria for a while and that's because we are a private sector driven economy that welcomes people from all walks of life across the globe. And yes, Lagos will continue to be on the move because here we work hard and build real businessess. The IGR growth is not a function of Fashola. Infact, it is on record that Ambode as Accountant General from 2006-2012 was largely responsible IGR growth in the state.

I think its you who really needs to worry about your village in Osun state because Aregbesola has pillaged the last bones out of you guys. Did you see NBS stats that indicated that your state of Osun got by far the lowest income of any state in Nigeria over the last 6 months?

idealogical:

Fashola's largest budget was N489 billion.

Ambode's budget for 2017 is N860 billion, almost 2 times Fashola's largest budget.

Stick to your village and quit spewing ignorant rubbish.

Okay, let me dash you some sense.
First convert those figures to the prevailing dollar rates of the time.
Ambode----N860 Billion/$310= $2.77 Billion
Fashola-----N489 Billion/$155= $3.15 Billion.

Secondly, and this is very important. The fact that Ambode could budget N860 Billion in a time of rabid recession(actually caused by Fashola's principal, Buhari) is a strong pointer to the fact that grand theft of catastrophic proportions was happening under Fashola's government.

Recession hit allocations from Abuja--- Ambode was not affected.
Recession hit profits(IGR) of private sector-----Ambode was not affected.

That means Fashola must have been getting 3 times what Ambode is getting now but it all went under the radar!!

Same Fashola is now in Abuja without a PR budget and his underside has been exposed!

Ambode has told us the road will be finished in 15 months. Lets bookmark this thread and check back in December of 2018. And I can bet you he will keep his word. Not like Fashola who is still struggling to to add 10 km to roads Jonathan was constructing.

I travel wella!!

I was on Ore-Shagamu on Friday here. And it's just about 10 km that has been added to what Jonathan left off in 2015.
Aba-PH? Enugu-Onitsha Please naaaaa!! Do you travel at all?

Fashola claimed that previous governments had terrible capital budgets and boasted for 2 consecutive ears that he has obtained the highest budgets ever.
I can run an endless list now on simultaneous roads the previous government ran with the so called meager budgets. Those are the same roads that Fashola took just 20% of and deployed 200% of budgets and yet hasn't moved more than 50km on an of these projects.

I don't really agree with that......fashola actually laid d foundation for ambode.

Well, I don't know about that.
Fashola operated in a time of surplus and didn't build as much core infrastructure in 8 years as Ambode who is operating in a time of scarity has built in just 2 years.

Worse still, Fashola's performance at the federal level is as terrible as terror can get!

Ambode is making the Fashola and his Federal Government look absolutely incompetent.

Imagine a state has constructed more roads than a whole country.

In 2016, Fashola boasted that they have just approved the highest capital expense in our nation's history. He and the finance minister(I cant remember her name) repeated the same nuisance in 2017. Till today we haven't seen any road construction happening despite all the budget allocations.
Ambode on the other hand doesn't even talk. You just go to a new area and you see it has been transformed.

You are very likely to loose your money if you don't have these.

Take ou time to learn a specific component of Agriculture before you venture. On the other hand, partner with a reputable firm that has a track record. Let them execute a farm project for you. Track record is important.

Those numbers don't look promising at all.

Seeking N120m when you are doing just 10 million in yearly revenues is a no brainier. That is like 30 thousand naira in sales daily. An average Mama put seller in a not too busy location does more than 30k daily.

Review your numbers if you are serious about getting funded. Plus you'd get interests only when you can prove that your model that your model is unique and it can scale considerably.

And the fact that you opted to post this on Politics section is a pointer to a not too good trait on how you run your biz.

What criteria was used to determine that he was a ritualist? Besides an iPhone, were any incriminating items like human parts found on him?

Yesterday 2 people were lynched because a woman said she heard sounds in a manhole.
They searched the manhole afterwards and nothing like human parts or anything of that nature were found.

How do people come up with these accusations without any proof? I feel that more innocent people have lost thier lives to these mobs than criminals have.

People need to exercise some restraint. The quest for bloodletting is to high.

Politics / Re: The Real Conspiracy Against The Eastern Seaports And Riverports by PapaBrowne(m): 5:51am On Aug 10, 2017
Lets stop this victimization card we always play. We need to start asking our own leadership real questions.
I used to believe all the marginalization story until I started trying to understand the real issues myself.

I don't have the time now, but when I do I will give you proper analysis complete with data on our ports and the usage. And you'll find that our leaders in the SE and SS are lying to us to cover for their own failures. The story of propping up Lagos ports is all falsehood. Infact , on some parameters, Onne port actually trumps both Apapa and Tin an Ports. Combined, Lagos ports control just 57% in tonnage terms while Delta and Rivers and Calabar ports control 43%.

Ask an Onitsha trader why he shipped his goods to Lagos and the only reason is that his agent who is from Anambra state is located in Lagos. There are ships going to all the ports. We just dont use it. Our minds are just fixated on Lagos.
Infact the best maintained and most organised port in Nigeria is Onne port and it is not much more expensive than the Lagos ports.

Lets stop this useless victim mentality.

Why didnt Jonathan build the IBAKA PORT?? Why didn't he dredge the Calabar River? Babangida and Abacha made sure LNG was built in Bonny. Jonathan couldn't put a stone on Brass LNG. We need to begin holding our own leaders responsible. This useless victim mentality is allowing us tolerate their uselessness.

Below are some statistics. Like I said, if I have time later, I can give you a clearer picture on many of these issues.

NB
And to think about it, shouldn't we be more interested in outward traffic (Exports) than Inward traffic (imports).
Delta and Onne control 90% of outward traffic which means both of these ports are very well equipped to ship goods out of the country which we should be looking to take advantage of by exporting our goods as against complaining about Lagos ports handling imports.

Politics / Re: Ozubulu Attack, Questions For Gov Willie Obiano And DSS by PapaBrowne(m): 8:00pm On Aug 06, 2017
It's called Fifth columnists! Read up.

It's unfortunate what IPOB is about exposing the South East to. I keep saying it. IPOB should get an intellectual arm.

IPOB doesn't understand how the world works. And how much of a dangerous place it is.

Global powers that be are looking for a battleground to test thier strength and IPOB because of a lack of understanding is opening up the South East and giving them fodder.

That shooting is surely not drug related. Neither is it Fulani herdsmen as the poster would have us believe. It is most likely fifth columnists trying to spark off a crisis in the South East. And I wouldn't be surprised if these kinds of attacks continue.

The post you have up there is the number one reason I'm very disappointed in Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.

You start a movement and your movement is growing. You want to secede. You say you want it peacefully.

But you have your people in millions residing in other parts of the country. And you know thier lives and property would be endangered. But you make no plans for thier safety. You make no attempt to even encourage thier preparation to return.

Instead you call them fools for daring to call for restraint.

There are over 10 million Ibos living outside the South East. If only 1 million move back, do you have any idea the economic catastrophe that would result?

IPOB needs an intellectual wing. Building a new nation is not about carrying a flag. No plans. No visions. Nothing. Just give us referendum.

Anybody waiting on government to give him money before he can start his business is a failure.

There is no where in the world where government pets people with money.

One of the most critical aspects of running a business is the ability to raise funds to run that business. There is private sector funds everywhere to bankroll really bankable projects.

How come Innoson was able to make his own happen.

Wizkid, Psquare, Nollywood, et al didn't get any support from government and they are killing it globally.

Abeg. Park well!
