PoliticsRe: Yar’adua: Saudi Authorities Deny Ministers Landing Clearance by Parnassuss(m): 6:23pm On Feb 22, 2010
I don't blame the Saudis, when we can't get our effen act 2geda. Why are we still clinging to a deadbeat, those bloody senators will rot in hell. And they say a coup is not necessary. If i hear about this again and it's not to confirm that the shyster's dead, I kill some1. angry
FamilyRe: I Think Marriage In Africa Is Against Women. by Parnassuss(m): 2:24pm On Feb 18, 2010
@Crde Oil, u're the embodiment of wisdom. If the thing pain them like that, abeg make una kukuma no marry. Marriage is against the African woman truely, but dating is also against the African man. Where some fellow has been bashed and bruised by so called 'sharp babes' in his youth, let's not expect any high morals in marriage from said fellow, he too will bash and bruise; either literally or figuratively.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News! Rilwan Lukman, Petroleum Minister Resigns by Parnassuss(m): 2:05pm On Feb 18, 2010
The list on the first page is missing one crucial component; Alhaji Yayale Ahmed, the suave Talleyrand wanna-be. In an ideal world i'd say i was pleased but considering the fact that Joe's already 'fallen my hand' in the Aondoakaa saga, i won't expect much 4rm him.  sad

Jonathan Swift refutes the claim that man in a 'rational animal', instead he states man 'animal capable of logic'. Hard to argue to the contrary when we have such venomous posts on this issue. NIGGERS, CHILL!

PoliticsRe: Soyinka Blasts Aondokaa On CNN by Parnassuss(m): 4:20pm On Feb 11, 2010
@ Sky, chap youy read my bleeding mind. That block of deadwood calling himself a president let us sink to the point i started praying 4 an Obj rerun. He (Yar'adua) shouldn't be exonorated, he is the head hench man of the ILLUMINATI (though i think the grp fictional but no harm eh Aloy  wink)
I am so proud of the prof right now i could burst i read Literature you know undecided, and we Nigerian youth really are pathetic. If any will join me i think we ought to show some more concern for our nation, host  protest march maybe.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Kayode Tokunbo Is New Attorney General Of The Federation by Parnassuss(m): 3:54pm On Feb 11, 2010
Oh well, we can be complacently thankful yo Joe, or we can yap about this seemingly sub-standard choice of his. In every case the glaring truth shows our inability to actually effect any change in our lives as concerns our govt. We just wait for them to make the decisions for us no matter the case. huh I'm moving to Chad, the weather's not so bad there.

Aloy you just wan argue, with that provocative piece. I however like seeing Andorka on the ropes, even though he is the one who seems to have put himself there. Dora took her time, but better late than Yar'aduad again i say.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Obi Re-elected Anambra State Governor: by Parnassuss(m): 2:05pm On Feb 08, 2010
Again I'm just blown away by the semi vicious but fully witty banter on this site, it truely is refreshing to read such beautiful words crafted in with skill. Obi, Ngige, Soludo; hell i personally thing they can hang themselves on a taut line, i remain loyal to the only eastern Guv, keeping it real; (drum roll) my man Sullivan Chime of the Coal City! cool
Oh yeah, congrats Anambra, you guys seem to have achieve the impossible; a virtually violence free election.
PoliticsRe: Northern Lawyers Threaten To Cede From Nba by Parnassuss(m): 2:02pm On Feb 06, 2010
Personally I'm impressed. So members of the northern elite can choose to boycott or secede, hmm brings back poignant memories I say. As to the reason for relocation, i say if the entire members were dissatisfied it would have a unified effort, this tribalistic approach shows itself for what it is; a pathetic and self centred attempt to dominate seeming 'weaker tribes'. Up Ake i say. But the details are rather sketchy, I'm sure when the northern get their story to light, it'll not be so straight forward.
SportsRe: Give Three Reasons Why Amodu Should Remain Or Be Sacked by Parnassuss(m): 6:17pm On Feb 04, 2010
Seems alot of persons i.e Chi lane, the Light, Ikhilor believe the sack of such an unskilled and arrogant hardhead a waste, since we are in such a sorry state, literally. Oh well, this approach almost seems equivalent to refusing headache meds since your down wit malaria. Even sport has the power to change the affairs of a state if its people are passionate enough about it. We should not compromise excellence even if our nation is such a failure in a multitude of ways.
PoliticsRe: Alamieyeseigha Seeks Reinstatement As Governor by Parnassuss(m): 1:52pm On Jan 26, 2010
For starters, this man probably has some strong strings somewhere, but aside that i think its in the constitution somewhere that no ex-convict or criminal plaintiff may hold office. How he's out of prison boggles my mind. HE is a sham in every nature of the word, but yet let us await the ruling, i'm sure it'll be dramatic.

PoliticsRe: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by Parnassuss(m): 3:55pm On Dec 13, 2009
back2back:
This is good but the GUNS should be sold abroad.

It must NEVER be sold or use in Nigeria!

It is time we have a clear strategic foreign policy.

We can for instance put Libya people against Gadafi by demanding for democracy then we sell the GUNS to both parties to kill themselves while ABAIA make money and can develop their state.

Or better we supply it to North Ireland guys or the Spanish Basique fighters.

Or we supply it to the Georgia, Ukraine to fight Russia.

Or we supply to Mexico drug lords.

It is time we pay them back!
You can't be serious, pay back for what, this'll just end up in the classical shot to the foot fashion by our own guns.
PoliticsRe: Fg To Site Gun Factory In Abia by Parnassuss(m): 3:43pm On Dec 13, 2009
The state of affiars right now cannot inspire confidence expecially where safety and maintainance is concerned, i mean, its fairly common to find entire Carrier ships missing, what then would safeguard hand held weapons. If we get a gun factory running what then, do we export, being that the only ones desperate enough to buy new and untested designs would be conflicting third world countries. Wether in Zamfara, Kogi, Abia, Lagos or Taraba, a gun factory is a bad idea. sad
Foreign AffairsRe: Beware! Handset Gun Out In Italy by Parnassuss(m): 1:42pm On Sep 18, 2009
This life is overhyped, death cannot be that bad. That being said however, we really must try our hardest to improve the case oh, na till we derstroy ourselves we go learn abi? The makers of these gadgets all have too much malevolence in them, encouraging or humouring them in anyway cannot be anything but more trouble. sad

@the Viper, you said Ribadu was a fighting dog to Obj. was he fighting those whose hands were clean? my dear, wat is bad is bad, a crook is a crook whether he or she is obj's friend or foe. If we are serious about fighting corruption, then we have to start from somewhere, Ribadu started with obj's enemies according to u, madam waziri can continue with obj's friends. I think that is the way to do it in Nigeria and not by ridiculing those who risked their lives to see that Nigeria is respected amongst the comity of nations.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

You talk am broda, these pple are so idealiustic they start to condemn anyone who does not appear like MLK and Jesse Jackson. This is not a hollywood movie! I admire Ribadu emormously because atleast he had the balls to damn the consequences and do what \could be considered partially right, by catholic belief that alone qualifies him for purgatory. These sissies of the present administeration are so flawed they can't even steal admirably, say what you will abouty Obj's term but there some world class pple were found. eg Dora, Chikwelu, Ribadu. That was a time for giants, some good some bad but they were giants nontheless.

PoliticsRe: Detained Nigerian Sect Head 'Dead' - Breaking News by Parnassuss(m): 2:32pm On Aug 04, 2009
Personally, i think the truth in this case will never be fully known. But lets examine the lucid facts The police indiscriminately killed a criminal; for the seeming purpose of concealing his sponsors, retaliation to the blow he dealt their ego by killing their officers, or to prevent the sect from continuing, in the unlikely case where he WAS actually the high head of the sect. Some reports also claims the president knew about the sect and its mission b4 hand, considering the fact that the north is the bedrock of conflict and crisis in the country, that cannot be far fetched. Security must definitely have had some idea or inkling on the existence of such a sect. So, why did govt. not act, probably for the same reason the USA govt. did not act when it was told of Al-Quaida.
My summation on these recent events agrees with the thesis on there being a greater force sponsoring the sect, but i don't think it was anyone one intention for their puppet to get caught or to have him killed. I mean, if they were so influential they'd have to to do is to let him stew in prison for some years and get him quietly out to continue his job. Killing him would set back their operation except they already had a back-up plan and this was just a diversion, either way, this is one screwed up mess that deserves more intel focus and man power than i feel Uncle Umaru's putting up
