agaugust: Cool, you have now admitted:
America used mercenaries in Iraq for defensive role. Never mind the fact that combat is both offensive and defensive, a fight is a fight. Defensive combat, offensive combat, all is = combat.
SADF used at least a whole battalion of foreign white and black mercenaries in Angolan war....never mind the fact that over 60,000 black Angolan UNITA rebels were finaced by South Africa to directly fight Cuban army for many years while SADF deployed only 4,000 troops..... so UNITA rebels takes 90% glory for the ground war efforts against Cuban army.
Meanwhile in Nigerian war on Boko Haram, NO SINGLE MERCENARY FIRED ONE BULLET....yes, we had a PMC of 5 trainers who mentored 100 Nigerian troops called strike force, lightly armed men with ordinary machine guns that could not cover 0.0001 % of the war zone bigger than Scotland.
The photo of a pilot flying the Hind helicopter is the backview of a faceless man whose jacket collar is assumed by you to be human blonde hair. Have you ever heard of international standard called positive identification? Have you seen where an embassy gives visa to a man whose international passport shows the back of his head and all covered with helmet and heavy jackets... please show us the face of that pilot, we need to see a white-man's face to prove your mercenary is flying Mi-35 Hind....show us the pilots face ! .
Camouflaged or covered images, backview of heavily clothed people, is inadmissible evidence/exhibit in court anywhere in this world.
You are a real grade A category Mumu . US military hired mercenaries to perform minor security and protection roles. Protecting local leaders, compounds, oil facilities etc. They used them as well armed security guards. You use mercenaries as combatants and instructors for your men. Your "90% glory" thing about UNITA is nonsense. Blond hair and white skin burns your soul does it not? |

Henry120: Let's not even start with South-Africa, were virtually all black people are internally displaced. What's the percentage again, 90% of the population only own 10% of the land....
Fair individual, yeah, definitely is a Nigerian.
Nope, your Special forces been roundly defeated by a bunch of hoe/ cutlass wielding farmers.
"Seleka spokesperson Eric Massi said the rebels had broken through a line of South African soldiers during their push into the city." 1. This is a military forum not a debate about land ownership 2. Nigerians are whit men with blond hair? Hahahaha - it must make your soul bleed to see the whites operating your equipment for you. 3. 200 men were pushed back by 3000-5000 men?? OMG what a shock!! Hoe/ cutlass weilding farmers? Yeah, I dont think you know who Seleka are

Henry120: 1. The F117 was shot down by an obsolete world war II ADS..... There goes your stealth.
2. Go read on it.
3. Stealth Fighters like the F-35 are a Trillion dollars waste of resources. Stealth technology can't even meet up with advances in Radar tech.
4. Air campaigns are all system based. From the campaigns in the North-East of Nigeria - the most widely imagined US v.s Russia combats, Airforces deploy varying degress of data linked systems which allow them better prosecute/ defend objectives.
5. Yeah, what ever it is, the USMC purchased harrier jump jets from the brits, turkey supplies the Americans MRAPs and boeing purchased Patria AMVs from finland and the stryker IFV is a mowag.
Simply put, nobody is an island.
However, each individual country can build whatever system they buy abroad as soon as relationships get hostile. 1. Fvcking citation needed - there were no radar guided missiles in WW2 2. Read what? 3. Reduced signature makes it harder to target - show us citations to back these claims. 4. Oh jesus help me 5. None of those are naval combat systems - stop moving the goal-posts. |

Henry120: Nope, they did. U.S mercenaries actively engaged in pursuing the enemy and interpreting raw intel.
That's not a white man. That's a fair individual who as well could be a Nigerian. The only pilot clearly shown in that vice video was a black person.
Coming from a Person whose military was thoroughly beaten, left abandoned and had to resort to begging french forces...... I'll have to take that with a pinch. 1. Citation needed 2. Blond hair + white skin = white man 3. OMG, 200 men were pushed back by 3000-5000? What a shock!! 16 000 dead and 1,6 million displaced, a caliphate the size of belgium cut out of your land and relying on foreign soldiers and mercenaries to save you. That is a greatest mark of shame, and you shall have to wear it for eternity! |

Henry120: Stealth is over-rated. A world war II Air defense system shot down the F-117 stealth bomber in Serbia (yugoslavia).
World war II Radars routinely pick up radar cross-sections of "stealth bombers".
Would our stealth bomber be doing NOE at 20,000 ft?
EW systems aren't stealth. For a comprehensive E.W, our "stealth fighters" would need to be escorted by Prowlers.
The Russians aren't behind in western governments in maritime systems. Russia ordered 2 Mistral warships from France, so?
They posses the capability to produce LPDs if they so desire. 1. the F-117 was not shot down by a WW2 Air Defence system in Serbia. 2. Citation needed. 2a. Detection =/= the ability to target what you have detected. (short-wave versus untra-long wave) 3. F-35 may be operating at any hight. It will be stealthyer at low level than high level 4. I dont think you have any idea of what systems-based warfare is 5. Thats an LHD, and is not a naval combat system like AEGIS or PAAMS. The fact that they ordered french ones and were unable to build their own says allot about how underdeveloped they are. |

agaugust: America used mercenaries in Iraq war, yet nobody gave American military glory to white mercenaries, BBC and CNN never did that.....LOL.
If 5 men from a white PMC train 150 Nigerian troops in a small strike force, the western media will say the mercenaries won the war for Nigeria.....but how about the battalions of mercenaries fighting combat for American army in Iraq, those ones are not getting America's glory? LOL.
Anyway South African army in Angola was full of thousands of European and Angolan-Rhodesian-Mozambican mercenaries fighting 24 hours daily and shooting at the Cuban enemies in direct combat.....those ones don't take the glory from SADF, right? LOL.
Now....show us mercenaries flying Nigerian Alpha jets, F-7 jets, ATR-42 Surveyor battlefield surveillance aircraft, Mi-35 Hind E version, T-72 AV tanks, LG-3 Auto Grenade launcher, BTR-4E IFV.....show us mercenaries firing Bofors FH-77 Artilery....show us a white man that fired one single bullet in Boko Haram war....we have shown you thousands of Nigerians firing weapons....now you show us the mercenaries firing weapons inside the battlefield of Northern Nigeria....
. US Mercenaries in Iraq did not take up combat roles only defensive ones. SADF foreign fighters were restricted to a battalion of 850 men and were led and trained by South Africans. Pic related, white bloke flying one of your hinds in combat I give your argument: 2/10. Apply yourself in future. Foreign fighters saved your country and liberated your people. Deal with it.

lekkie073: Nigeria has a population of more than 5 million black foreigners....the thing is that Nigerians know u as a Blackman cannot come and outshine them in their own country because we r not lazy. The only business u see Ghanaians prospering in Nigeria is in the sales of kenke and banku of which Nigerians can even give them a run for their money Id they so wish. If not for some useless indigenous politics, dstv would have been overtaken by hitv but I bet consat (tinubu-owned)will do dat in a matter of sooner than later. Has it ever occurred to you that the attacks on foreigners in South Africa has more to do with the fact that significant proportions of our crime problems is due to them? Add to that competition over scare resources and the fact that they are willing to work longer and for less than locals and it becomes a problem. |

Pakistan is a proper U.S ally, yet the pakistanis got monkey mode F-16's from the U.S.
Besides there is no evidence U.S equipment is better than equipment we get from the east.
Expensive, youtube videos and Discovery channel documentaries don't mean better. The performance of Western v Eastern equipment in Yom Kippur, Iraq 1 and 2 as well as the wars between India and Pakistan show that as a rule of thumb, western equipment is better. |

agaugust: I said MiG-23 jet, are you so dumb?
The MiG-21 you shot down are old versions flown by Cuba.
Nigeria had in 1977, the latest MiG-21 'J' version with latest RP-22 radar and the latest K-13M missiles, then Nigerian pilots are far better than Cubans.
South Africa does not have 500,000 troops as you keep claiming on this thread.
Even giant Nigeria in Biafra war could not raise more than 250,000 troops. You keep telling lies about an imaginary SADF of half a million troops, you think your country is like China ?
10,000 Nigerian commandos landed on South African coast will lead to uprising by the millions of blacks in South Africa, we will give them ship loads of AK-47 and RPG, then you will see worse than Boko Haram inside South Africa, the apartheid government will be roasted at home, confusion, chaos, tears and blood on homesoil will bring down a government that 90% of the population hated so much.
You don't know how difficult it is to fight war on homesoil because South Africa has never experienced that advanced level of combat before
PHOTO : NNS OBUMA, 1970s NIGERIAN NAVY FRIGATE WITH SPECIAL ANTI-SUBMARINE CAPABILITIES . Augustus, I have posted the 500 000 citation many times. Its fact. Who said your Mig 21's were better? Who said your pilots were better? You? We have fought in more advanced wars than you can even comprehend. The ANC and numerous other liberation movements sturggled for decades to do what you are talking about and failed. How will your men land? How will they be re-supplied? You dont have enough vessels to do so. Your delusions are entertaining, tell me more |

agaugust: The Angolan war was not limited to 1977 alone, it lasted till early 1990s. As at 1977 Nigeria had 30 MiG-21 jets with 150 Atoll air to air missiles and long range air to ground rockets, 20 Il-28 jet bombers, over 200 artillery guns , Frigate NNS Obuma, and the most battle hardened army in Africa with 250,000 troops fresh from Biafra war battlefield.
South Africa would have trembled if Nigeria replayed our 3rd Marine Commandos amphibious force landing 10,000 battle hardened elite troops on South African coast with air cover from Cuban MiG-23 jets and Nigerian Ilyushin - 28 Beagle jet bombers, Pretoria will pïss in it's pänts that day o ! . How would you land troops with our coast with air-cover? you have an aircraft carrier? Also, as we have shown we are pretty good at shooting down MIg-21's. If Cuba needed 60 000 men to stand a chance against us with 20 000 men, what makes you think your 20 000 men could stand a chance against 500 000? |

Those years were the days Nigerian navy had the most powerful warship in Africa and NAF had 100 jet fighter aircraft plus an army with 500 anti-aircraft missiles.
South Africa would have been roasted alive . HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Such delusions |
