Those guys are able to carve out something when a match is deadlock. That is most important. The other day you saw the stats, the attackers create for themselves. But you want McTominay to create.
Which stat? The one you posted?

Never mentioned anything about close control. Greenwood is our best finisher. He just hasn’t developed the other parts of his game- physique, athletism and all.

Solskjaer said this himself.
Greenwood looks like a great finisher in the making but I fear for British players and hype...I don't even want to praise the lad yet...I hope you understand where I am coming from.

Lol Martial is miles ahead of Greenwood when it comes to close Co trol and finishing. Greenwood is developing fast though.

See Elampiro already trying to find reasons to blame the strikers...Go and check how many chances Sterling and Aguero waste per game and compare with ours, same with Liverpool...The only difference is that they never stop creating chances...

If the chances keep coming, the strikers will score and so his confidence rises.

We should leave Hazard alone, yet you’re here passhunnately defending him the way Arewa Twitter defends Buhari.

This has nothing to do with Utd. And I’m not even trolling. Just explain how Haaland, a recent secondary school graduate, has more UCL goals from open play than veteran E. Hazard.

If you can’t don’t disturb me plis patrickhazadd. Ole will give me enough headache this evening
I am not defending Hazard, I am only pointing things out to you, Wolves beat Manchester City but see how Chelsea ran them rugged at the Molineux... Hazard still has time on his side to turn his Madrid career around. It's too early to start writing him off...

We (Manchester United fans) are not in the best position to troll right now, Madrid and Hazard will probably make it to the next round and with a bit of luck and form, they might win something, how about us? Big doubts...

Abeg leave Hazard, we have more to worry at United.

How many seasons did your team give Depay or Falcao?

Hazard is not even sitting on the bench, he is starting and dropping disaster class game after game.

The same player his fans swore will disgrace farmers in
Spain
Drogba wasn't what he later became in his first season, I can remember he was booed for taking to the floor often even by Chelsea fans...

Michael Carrick wasn't always loved by Manchester United fans same as Fletcher but things changed going forward...

I am still upset with Van Gaal for his treatment of Di Maria.

Depay was given enough chance, he just wasn't ready or the stage was probably too big for him at that point in his career...

Mr Patrick nobody hyped Modric or said he has the talent level of Messi/Ronaldo or that la liga is filled with farmers as defenders so he will destroy them all on a regular basis. They are not on the same boat. I really hope you have not been taking Swimming lessons from Airmark.
Please leave me out of your banter with Airmark if you must have a convo with me. I really don't get how things have denigrated to this level where rather than discuss football like fans who love the beautiful game, we resort to trolling at all times...

Hazard is new to the team and league and the league is not even half way gone yet you can't cut him some slack. If he goes ahead to shine in the second half of the season or next season, you'll withdraw into your shell like nothing happened. I am certain Ed that if he scored a Hattrick of goals yesterday, you'd be the first one to say it's only against Turkish farmers in a bid to undermine his exploits. I have been here long enough to know how you lots reason.

At the end of his Madrid career, I'll be the first to say he failed if he does fail but for now, it's too early just as it's too early to say Grizzy is failure or flop at Barcelona...The talent is there, all they need is a bit of spark and boom, the narrative will change.

I do not entertain jokes...John Stones has never been among the best defenders in the league. His only strength is his perceived ability on the ball which in itself is overrated. I once fell for the hype, now I can see, I pray you make it through too.

Ernesto Valverde has to go, in the first half, Slavia Prague pushed forward and were there for the taking with a through from deep but Barca didn't capitalize. Messi should have dropped deep as only him has the vision and technique to spot runners...Valverde might be worse than Ole because Ole actually has shit players.

They are pushing Barca back into their own half. They’re very bold.

Semedo and the other guy should push upwards and Messi should drop deep. One defense splitting pass and it’s over.

A simple up through should do...Slavia are playing an incredibly high line, a good run and pass to match will break them down...

See Slavia Prague playing a very high line, making the pitch compact thereby limiting the space for Barcelona...I'm impressed...

Valverde is a big fool sha he has reduce Barca to a level where even Slavia Prague isn't scared of the Camp Nou.

With the way pep play they will be benched or sold. Those guys have potential and they are still yet to unlock it fully. Man U need a quality CM that can hold the ball, spot runs, spread passes and can mark too, they need quality wingers and a number 9 that can actually score. Rashford and martial are substitution players at best for a club like Man U.

Pogba mc and that quality midfielder will be deadly in your midfield.
Sterling and Walker are a huge pointer to the fact that Pep can actually coach players to be better. When you watch Manchester City, do you see Walker always trying to use his pace to go past defenders when a simple pass should do? No. At Spurs, Walker was all about pace but at City, he has learnt to play with his head.

Sterling instead of hugging the wings and trying to run at defenders now using that energy to run into space intelligently. That Pep's coaching.

If Pep has Rashford, the first thing he'll do is advise him to play more with his head, all those kick and run will stop instead you'll see a more calculated striker who rather than run all over the pitch let's the ball do the running...

Martial is even easier as he is already very good all the ball. All Pep will do is improve his work rate and movement and then you have a deadly forward. Ole is clueless, I don't see any player improving under him.

Sterling is always England one of best attacking players. Although I have not watched much of them this year.
England has always done well when it comes to qualifiers where they get to play those lowly rated teams but whenever they have come up against a half decent team, they have struggled...Reason? A dysfunctional sysyem, poor midfielders topped with a clueless manager...

They are not good footballer as those guys in that City team. Guadiola takes time to buy complete footballers.

Martial has the potentials but...... who will MARTIAL OR RASHFORD bench in Man City?
Why does Sterling struggle with England? Don't forget that in attack, England prides the likes of Kane and Sancho who are top of their game at their respective clubs?

The initial argument was even that midfield is the problem. Later una con dey add full backs. Yet a full back has created the highest chances grin

Anyway, my argument is simple. The blame should not be shifted. The way everyone is calling midfield is the problem, one would think that we have Messi, Ronaldo, Robben of old in attack.

Our attackers are not complete. They have individual deficiency. Rashford has no single buildup play, sometimes leaves the ball behind while trying to run swiftly. Martial is lazy. Peirera is always average. James still growing. All of them are poor in decision making and finishing.
Martial is not a poor finisher in my opinion. I am certain Rashford and Martial will do well if placed in that City team.

The attack is our major problem.
Lukaku scored for West Brom and Everton but he had issues here...Martial was rated very highly at Monaco but he can't seem to deliver here...Sanchez came here and flopped...You can honestly say Sanchez and Lukaku were not good enough as they were already tearing the league before joining us. Everything points to the fact that very good attackers struggle when they join us, why? A dysfunctional system first and then lack of quality from the supporting cast...

There times injuries forced us to play what I will call second eleven. So even with the scenario I painted above, Nani will still be single handedly shaking defence on the right.

You guys think even if we bring Xavi, the likes of Pereira will begin to perform magic? These attacking players have to lift their games. But Pereira as a number 10 or a right winger is a let down already.
Has anybody here insinuated such? We are saying Pereira is poor, just as Fred...We are also saying our fullbacks should push higher up the pitch when we are up against small teams...I have seen Messi use the run of Suarez as a decoy to get past defenders. Robben use to use the run of Lahm too to get past a defender. When we had Valencia, Mata could play on the RW and still be effective because Valencia provided the necessary width for him to move in field without affecting us.

The defender needs a player in front of him to be creative for him to also be creative.

Is it defender that makes them to miss penalties? To miss clear headers from six yard? To keep shooting wayward from edge of the box? To no make an intelligent through ball or lob over the defence?

At Barcelona, who was in front of Alves?

If you watch Manchester City (Zichenko/Mendy and Walker) , Liverpool (Robertson and TAA) , Barcelona (Alba), Madrid (Marcelo and Carvajal), Bayern (Alaba and Kimmich), Juventus (Alex Sandro), Dortmund (Guerrero and Piszczek), Chelsea (Emerson/Alonso), Atletico (Formally Juan Fran and Felipe Luis now Trippier) and can't get the point we are making about overlapping fullbacks, I am sorry I can't help you.

Our midfield is even worse...

Nani did not have this excuse when they played in front of Wes Brown. Sometimes it was Brown on the right, Oshea on the left and Nani in front of Brown, Rooney in front of Osea. They still won heavily. No excuse.

Our forward players cannot breakdown defence. chikena. Luke Shaw was in form last season playing behind those guys, it was same story. Pogba plays too, same story.
When we had Nani, you had an Evra who was like a left winger when we attacked, you had Giggs who dropped deep to free up space for a marauding Evra, we had Scholes who could switch play to our advantage with a raking long ball from midfield, we had Berbatov and Rooney in the box enough bodies in attack to stretch the opposition. Scholes sef joined the attack as soon as we went forward.

And Brown didn't play as our RB in many games.
