He is in a rush because he isn't certain which way the leadership of the house will go with APC having the upper hand. |
GloryIsaac:Pepe, Ziyech, Sancho (I fear for the possible hype) etc Any of them will do a good-great job. |
The only problem with this purchase is that he seem to prefer the LW from the clips I have seen of him. We need an expert RW and no another makeshift in that position. |
Bridget95:Don't be impossible, Lagos might enjoy more support and honestly should be doing much better but in comparison to Bayelsa with less population, Lagos is miles ahead. This post isn't one for comparison tho so you bringing Lagos into the discourse is you being the typical Nigerian youth who is full of excuses and always go the way of ethnicity in their argument. Bayelsa for her allocation in comparison to population and land mass is doing very poorly, it has nothing to do with Lagos. Or is Ebonyi enjoying so much of Federal support? Accountability is lost on most of you and that's why politicians still have their way most times. |
Even if allocations drops by 2-3 billion, Bayelsa shouldn't be in red as insinuated by the Governor. If Ebonyi state is making verifiable progress even with the meagre federal allocation, Bayelsa has no right whatsoever to complain. Mr. Governor, I don't think you have done well. |
I think it was last season Mourinho informed us that Ed was on holidays when clubs were scrambling to buy players and ship out deadwoods. Ole will probably not stand up to Ed even if he isn't making any move to bring in new players. See Madrid for an instance, Militao, Jovic have been signed, deals for Hazard and Mendy are in the works but nothing concrete involving United yet. Even Liverpool are clearing the last badge of deadwood to replace them with potential first teamers. |
VolvoS60:I am referring to the number plate of the car, it can be flagged so that wherever that number plate is seen, the driver can be arrested by law enforcement agents. That's to say, they must all have a device that keeps records (Number plate and make of the vehicle) of traffic offenders who have yet to comply. It's a rough idea that can be polished and put to good use. |
VolvoS60:I get your point, it will be difficult to implement but it is possible especially if the number plate of the car is noted. That way, the vehicle can be tracked. But we will need a more effective and digital law enforcement agency rather than what we have now. We just have to bring back some form of sanity in our system. |
Leyqute:I really like Maddison, he has spatial awareness, can pass, shoot and is willing to put in the hard work. His deliveries are a joy. It's after watching James Maddison that I knew Kagawa10 knew his football... |
I have shared similar idea with friends, only difference is that rather than deduct the money automatically, the offender should be served with a notice to make payments of which failure to do so will have him/her arrested. See Nigerians, instead of debating his proposed solution to the traffic problems we experience, they're talking absolute rubbish about his ambitions. |
Happy birthday elrony, more wins... |
Hamid7:Okay |
Hamid7:Xavi and Iniesta didn't need to create that much, up front was Messi at his peak, Henry and Eto and other times, it was Villa and a very clinical Pedro who finished off chances created by Messi and Alves not so much from Xavi and Iniesta. Also, when it was Xavi and Iniesta, the back line was a lot more balanced with Abidal stay back while Alves bombed forward, now you have Alba and Semedo both bombing forward yet you want Rakitic to still assume an attacking role, have you also considered that Busquet is not the player he once was? At his peak, he gave Xavi and Iniesta the freedom to play and join the attack when necessary. You can't compare the set up and personnel then and now. |
Hamid7:No, Rakitic is not the problem. You can't have 2 attention full backs and expect Rakitic to function as an AMF especially when your DMF is not Kante or a much younger Busi. You have Alba attacking on the one side and Sergi Roberto/Semedo doing same on the other side and still expect your CM to join the attack, that will be suicide. When Pep was at Barca, Abidal was the LB, he sat back for Alves to attack thus Iniesta on the LMF was free to also attack as an AMF. At Liverpool where they have 2 flying fullbacks, they don't play with an out and out attacking midfielder because Robertson and Arnold need cover when they bombard forward. At City, when ever Mendy players, Walker curtails his forays forward and it is so even when Zichenko starts. They have to be a balance. In Pep's season, Kolarov and Zabaleta were constantly pushing forward and it left gapping holes as De Bruyne and David Silva are not known for their defensive contributions, he corrected that mistake in his second season. You can also check Hynckes Bayern team, with Alaba and Lahm as attacking wingbacks, he constantly had Martinez and Bastian Schweinsteiger sitting deep and Kroos in CM. When Pep took over at Bayern, for some reason, he opted to play Martinez as CB, a move that left them exposed to counter attacks. I have highlighted all this scenarios to show you that Rakitic is not the problem rather the system/personnel... |
Itsmedozie:Abeg leave the guy, he has his reservations about Ole maybe he is not using the right choice of words but I think we all understand him. Enough of the unnecessary back and forth. |
stanleyravos:Don't be impossible, the appeal court sitting on the Ned Nwoko vs Nwaoboshi case held that the Federal High Court had no jurisdiction to hear or even give judgement on the case as they ruled in favor of Nwaoboshi. Judiciary is really a mess. |
Joke of a union, suspending what never was... |
It's ironical that he is referred to as the common sense senator when in all honesty, he is anything but intelligent (Common sense)...If he had any sense, he shouldn't let us see this kinda pics as it betrays the position he most often take when in the full glare of the public. He belongs to the elite class that has messed up the system and continues to do so. He and Dino Melaye are jokers, they go on Twitter pretending to fight for us while they partake in sharing the largesse when they go behind closed doors. Modified: If you want to change this country, all you have to do is declared a 2-3 years emergency in the key sectors (Education, Healthcare and power generation/supply). At the expiration of the 2 year emergency, a ban should be placed on all public officials from traveling out to access their Healthcare needs just as all wards of public officials must have their education here otherwise the person resigns. For the power sector, a complete ban on the importation of generator should do for a start and gradually the phasing out of generators. The elites will kick against it but with the support of the masses, it is achievable...We allow a lot of nonsense go unchallenged in this country and it is sickening... |
weedtaker:Van Gaal was stubborn, for him it was his method or nothing... With Jose it is down to him because he was well supported in the market, Bailly, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Pogba, Dalot, Fred, Matic Lindelof etc his one issue was sticking with the deadwoods in the team and they failed him and this is the fear with Ole, he is really nice and comes across like that boss that doesn't want to hurt anybody. If Pep was our manager, we'd have seen the back of wastemen like Young, Smalling, Jones, Lingard etc Check Spurs when Poch joined and now, he has managed to clear much of the deadwoods there even with the little resources at his disposal. As much as any manager will succeed here, the chances depends on whether or not he sticks with the many deadwoods we parade. Pep, Klopp and Poch will move them on, I hope Ole does but I'm seriously not certain especially with talks of a new contract for Mata and Rojo coming out to say he is in the manager's plans for next season like wtf! |
Lana1:You're right on Moura...I feel with the resources available at United, it's much easier to win even though the pressure is higher. |
Lana1:The presence of Kane on the pitch is itself a big boost for Spurs and the neutrals, when the lineups came out yesterday, Spurs odd dropped because Kane was in the line up. It's Alli who has not been very productive that really shouldn't have started especially in place of Moura. If you listen the commentary yesterday, at some point the commentator pointed out that Erikson was shunted out to the wing to accommodate Alli, something which shouldn't be happening not when you have a right winger in Moura on the bench. |
elampiro2:He has had a below par season, severally I have heard commentators mention it and it's quite obvious if you follow Spurs. The Alli of last season isn't the same Alli of this season, I do3know whether it's because his place in the team is somewhat guaranteed but he has been terrible for a while now. |
Abeg make una calm down, Poch is a very good manager, you wonder what he will achieve with more money, definitely more success... Ole needs time to get his players in so we can access him but if ever I am given the option of Ole or Poch, I'll always go with Poch but as a Manchester United fan, the decision of the board is Ole and rightly so thus we've got to support him at least for now...The jury is still out on him considering our sudden slump towards the season end but let's see what the summer holds. |
raumdeuter:Where is your source for your rating? And remember that your source will be used against you in the near future...I am waiting... |
raumdeuter:If Liverpool had conceded, you'd have looked for a way to put the blame on him so why is it too hard for you to praise him when he deserves it? Even the commentators yesterday noted that he completely nullified the threat of Kane and when he came up against in a battle for Pace, he stook his ground. |
Ibime:Raumdeuter set himself up for this with his constant reference to big performance in a major final. I can't fault those who use his logic to whip him, Henderson was terrific yesterday, he did what Ballack couldn't do in his career according to aparisport CEO so, the reports reaching you is spot on... |
raumdeuter:My people, this one Dayo don dey call semi final final so erh sure say no be ploy to cover up for the bashing wey him dey receive for Lewy? Oga Dayo, that's a Semi Final, a battle he lost only to win the war at the end. You can Google for his photo yesterday. Van Dijk BEASTED the final, you've got nothing on him. |
Both Klopp and Poch made the same mistake starting Firmino and Kane respectively however, the difference is that Klopp quickly removed Firmino when it was obvious he wasn't in the game. On Pochettino's side, he should have taken of both Kane and Alli for Llorente and Moura or just replace Alli with Moura... Spurs decision not to strengthen has been their undoing as their players were obviously fatigued before the hour mark. |
Van Dijk has answered your query, now you just have to admit he is the best currently... Raumdeuter, how market? |
Truth is Okorocha didn't loot anything, it's probably staffs and his aides. |
Worst governor we have had since the return of democracy and most likely the worst we'll ever have unless he reincarnates... |
