hi folks. i need some information and quite urgently too.i applied for some scholarships and some of the requirements are that the applicant secures admission in a uk university.now i'm at sea on which university will readily offer admission with little fuss keeping in mind one that also has good academic programmes(in this case, i mean a recognized university). i wouldnt want to waste my time applying to just anyone if i dont stand a good chance of securing admission. thanks.
the course is a post graduate one(Masters) - Electrical/Electronics Engineering; advice on options such as Msc electrical power, Msc Control Engineering etc are higly welcome. God bless you as you comment. thanks.

The Second eritrean official will definitely be sympathetic to the Ethophian cause. We dont want a flag waving from the sidelines for a "soft" penalty now, do we?

HealthRe: Woman Delivers Baby In A Keke Napep by patwilly(m): 11:05am On Nov 05, 2013
Just as NAPEP implies, may this child's destiny be to eradicate poverty in this country. This i pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
This kind of story brings out tears in my eyes at how poor people really are in Nigeria yet we keep on hearing news about corruption every day in this country. More reason why we should join hands to fight and stamp out corruption irrespective of tribal, religious and ethnic affiliations. Remember that for every N1000 you spend on fried rice, chicken, ice cream etc, there are some who cant find a N100 to buy Garri. Help whenever and wherever you can. Together we can make the world a better place to live in.

Nairaland GeneralDo You Correct Grammatical Errors When Given A Document To Type? by patwilly(op): 10:52am On Oct 04, 2013
I'm a corper serving in one of the states up North and i'm usually called upon to type documents for the school i'm serving. Its kinda tough when faced with a situation where you have to correct someone's grammar and risk hurting his pride or just do the needful and spare Her Majesty's language the blushes..
So do you correct typo's, errors and stuff when typing a Doc. for someone or do you delibrately ignore those red/green zig zag lines paying wonderful homage to the errors(lol). Lets hear from you folks.
PS: Mods should move this thread to the right section if it doesn't belong here. Thanks .

CareerWhat Are The Prospects For A Graduate Of Elect/elect Engr? by patwilly(op): 2:00pm On Aug 12, 2013
I've been on this forum for quite sometime now and kinda need some advice from you good folks. I am a corper currently serving in one of the states of the federation and will finish serving by october this year.i have a B.Eng(elect/elect) and my dilemma is whether to further my studies(say a masters degree) or look for a job somewhere. Supposing i decide to go for the latter option, how good are the prospects of a job in the oversaturated Nigerian labour market considering the fact that i'm still kinda raw(its been theories all since and little practical experience save for what i garnered during my IT year). Would you good people please help a brother out? I'd greatly appreciate.thanks

PoliticsGov. Suswam's Cry For Help! by patwilly(op): 8:50am On Dec 19, 2012
In a Radio Benue message this morning, Gov. Suswam of benue state begged christians in the state to pray for him.he adduced his reasons for the prayer to the fact that out of four christian Northern Govenors, two were out of power due to air mishaps which he said were tied to the activities of the deadly boko haram sect.
...this is a man who has refused to pay the new rates for primary school teachers in Benue and owes them 3months salary since october. He even implemented a policy of 1month pay, 3months no-pay saying the state was broke. This means if he pays the October salary, teachers will have to wait till next year febuary to collect their November salary. The height of wickedness!
PS: Before y'all ask me to provide the source of my news, his message was a broadcast this morning through the state-owned radio benue, makurdi.

NYSCRe: Picture Of Corpers Being Punished By Soldiers In Camp by patwilly(m): 10:01pm On Nov 18, 2012
Seriously, this sh!t is getting out of hand. I'm a Batch C corper in camp @kebbi state and just this evening, a number of boys were forced to lie on the bare floor in the presence of everyone during our social night by a camp official. I mean their offence(if u call it an offence) wasn't even such a serious one...!-they were slow in standing up to sing the NYSC anthem(who isnt tired of that dull, monotonous, rythmless drag...) I find the punishment completly demeaning and if it were me, they'd have had a lot to contend with. Nobody says discipline shouldn't be enforced but certainly telling a full grown man dressed in white and white to lie down on the floor in the full glare of everyone is downright barbaric! The last time i was subjected to that sh!t was way back in Sec skul and Hell, it wasn't funny!
NYSCRe: NYSC BATCH C: How Was Your First Day In Camp? by patwilly(m): 10:58am On Nov 11, 2012
In kebbi too. The first day no funny at all oo. Travelled 14 hours from benue to this place. Which room u dey guy? I dey rm2.
