Humblesam: Menh I can't forget that fateful day I had only 50 naira in my entire life and was going to Festac town from Ijesha for an appointment. I used 30 naira for t/fare hoping I'll be back with good news but the result is a story for another day. I trekked in the hot sun of Lagos from Festac town down to Ijesha with my mind already spending the last 20 naira on garri, groundnut and probably sugar when I get home after the long trekking but something strange happened. When I got to Ijesha bus stop, getting ready for the final trekking to my street which is like five kilometers from the bus stop, I saw this blind man with his daughter begging, and when I looked at d man, he looked straight to my eye and was begging for something from me. Initially when I saw that blind man, I felt very grateful that I was a lucky guy,I felt pity and decided to move on with my 20 naira, I would av given him something but it was the last one on me. Do you know that I ve to trek back from my street after successfully getting to my house to the bus stop just to give that same 20 naira to that blind man? Because my conscience would not let me rest from that moment I set my eye on the blind man...it was telling me, "you can do better by giving that 20naira to the blind man", I thought it was a joke until I submitted. After that I saw myself crying unconsciously, trekking back home weak, hungry and without hope, but that's not the end of my story.
The following, someone I d never believed will help me, came to my house and took me to his place of work.... Same day, I was interviewed, same day I got my appointment letter, next day... I started working in that company and the rest is history. Very strong one.. I've experienced it several times, and sometimes I've hardened my heart while sometimes i just succumb. Thank God you didn't pharaoh your heart that day |

Since the beginning of these whole story, there has been these sets of people who i don't know for some reasons best known to them always feels like those of us talking about lekki massacre are been run over by emotions. They are having this over bloated ego that they are seeing things which we are not seeing, making them say thrash. Example is that guy. Always making it look like we are been run by emotions and not looking at the whole events critically. But you ask them simple questions, they will not reply. Firstly, why was the light off that day, it has never happened, light at lekki toll gate doesn't go off. Secondly, why was the camera removed ,a deliberate attempt to cover their crimes. But some low budget Sherlock Holmes will come here and start spewing thrash. |
Business › Re: I Just Opened A Business And Got A Salary Work I'm Confused by Pavillon: 12:18pm On Oct 29, 2020 |
You are great bro, this advise will also help for those intending to go in that biz. Well done bro PremzY002: You'd need to read this...!!!
My mum owns a chemist.
So, I'm qualified to give advice.
Had it been you stated the amount the salary work pays, I would have advised you appropriately.
Also, you should have stated if it's a federal government job or a private job that you got.
Chemist business is lucrative if you are in a location where you get many buyers daily.
For a start, you might have low sales.
As time progresses, sales increases.
BACK TO THE TOPIC:
if the job is a government job, please don't leave it (irrespective of the salary amount). The reason is because of what we call 'job security'.
Lecturers, teachers, doctors, etc on government payroll are still receiving salary even though we are in covid/endsars lockdown.
Those on private institutions are now selling vegetable in the market or female handbags.
My brother (an accountant ) was dismissed after 1 month of COVID lockdown.
reschedule your time. Open your chemist from 7 - 8:30a.m then from 4 - 9pm.
That's when most customers show up.
If it's a private job but pays up to 30k, please do the same thing I already mentioned.
You need that money to support the new business because your profit at this stage won't be much. It'd help you pay rent, pay security fees, pay to join your chemist association (they'd come for you soon), stock your shop (customers would always demand for new drugs daily).
If the salary is equal to or below 20k and from a private company, please forget it and focus on your chemist.
Please at this stage, don't even think of hiring anyone because goods would be leaving and entering your shop. You'd never know if you are being cheated or not.
I can supply you all drugs at very cheap rates if interested.
Check my past posts or signature for my MOBILE NUMBER. we could have chats when you are less busy.
Do you know why I love chemists?
It's a business where you can buy a drug for 60 naira and sell at 250.
Or 300 and sell at 700naira
P.S
To GROW your chemist, do the following
1. Blood pressure check @50/100 naira
From this, you'd notice that 60% of people you see are almost dead.
They'd definitely buy blood pressure drugs from you plus headache drugs.
2. blood sugar check
3. Weight and height check.
4. Record every drug a customer asks for that you don't have.
5. Never let up to or more than 2 persons sit in your shop.
( young girls always buy 'pregnancy test strip' while the young boys boy condom or postinor2. if up to 2 persons are in your shop, they'd be shy and definitely pass over to another less crowded shop)
6. Have condoms avaliable
7. Always know drugs that are not to be sold on the counter.
(For instance, if caught with Tramadal, you'd be begging to be released with 100 - 400k)
8. Be friendly with your neighbours. Once in a while, you buy stuff from them. They are the one to protect you and give you the latest secret GOSSIP.
9. Postinor2 costs 60naira and is usually in high demand. When desperate people come for it, sell at 300naira or more. (It should be a banned drug ooo, sell it codedly and don't display it on your shelf)
10. to your consistent customers, give them FREE blood pressure check. People love free things.
11. DIVERSIFY: instead of having 25 cards of paracetamol,
buy 5 cards of paracetamol (blue card), 5 cards of paracetamol (red card), 5 cards of panadol, 5 cards of panadol extra, 5 cards of painkill, etc.
Make sure you have at least 1 piece of every drug type.
Someone might insist on buying the red paracetamol (meanwhile, it's only the blue one else that you have).
Hope you get the idea?
12. MOST IMPORTANT : don't dash all your profits to resellers. What do I mean?
For instance, buying condoms at 90 naira from reseller and selling at 100naira means you've been cheated.
From the proper source, It won't exceed 40 to 60 naira.
My mum made this mistake when she started.
She was buying a particular drug at 250naira from a reseller but when she got the right source, it ended up being 80 naira (she sells at 350).
Finally, don't rely on the chemist alone.
Check what the successful people are selling there and do same.
You can still sell pure water , drinks, shoes, or anything that's in high demand in same shop(one side of the shop or in front of your shop)
I NEARLY FORGOT OOO....!!!
please I sell Grammarly premium accounts.
Grammarly corrects all mistakes on your term paper, business/job letter, final year projects, etc.

Commentor: All this is at best anecdotal.
Who are these dead persons?
Where are their relatives who seek them till this minute?
Where are the blood stains at the point of killing? But you will agree with me that immediately after the shooting, there were live videos from the scene with people in pool of blood. Live videos. And have you so far noticed the trend of reported cases of people missing? Have you been following the trend? I cant agree less that some are doing it for clout while some are deliberately declaring themselves missing, then they eventually debunk it just to prove the fact that there is no missing person. Man, we are in the technology age, check out these evidence, read reports from not just our local media here but also from the international media outlet. A forensic report just came out this morning showing different images lekki toll against the supposed fake video also, a vidoe surfaces online again with time and date taken showing three vans leaving bonny camp and these there vans were later captured at the protest ground. Man, if you cant grieve for the lives lost at least dont attract curses to yourself by making it look fake, |

However Nigerians present this Lekki regrettable and ugly incident , emotions will never take the place of logic. Yes lives have been lost in this protest all over Nigeria & yes there were shootings at Lekki Toll but never a massacre .
However, there have been too many lies about the number of people, & I find this disheartening because even one life lost is bad enough.
No matter how you hate me, curse or call names, it doesn’t change the truth from remaining the truth. Soldiers came to Lekki toll gate and fired bullets in the air for 30minutes, people scampered for safety and there was first degree stampede that night. Over 100 people got injured, stray bullet hit 3 and all of them are still in the hospital while one of them died the next day.
If you can pause and think, the first thing you will ask yourself is. Since they call this a massacre
1. Why was there no single drop of blood at Lekki toll gate the next morning after the shooting and the road is tarred of which you can see everything on the ground.
2. With the bullets we saw on the ground in the morning after the shooting, if soldiers actually fired straight bullets at protesters, don’t you think it’s trailer that will be used to pack dead bodies the next day
3. Let us agree soldiers killed 100people and moved them away. Now ask yourselves, did they come back with water, hypo and buckets to wash the whole of Lekki toll gate? To the extent we didn’t see a drop of blood from what Nigerians termed massacre
4. Let us agree that soldiers killed 100people, moved their bodies away, came back and washed the whole ground with hypo, let’s ask ourselves, what are their names, who are their parents and friends, why haven’t any family in Lagos come out since then to say my children are not yet back from Lekki protest?
If Nigeria does not kill fake news, fake news will kill Nigeria.
Over 20people Nigerians posted their pics and videos claiming they died during the so called massacre have come out to deny and say they are all alive.
99% of pics and videos flying around social media turned out to be fake.
CNN and BBC finally found out most of the news is fake and have retracted most of the pics they displayed initially.
What everyone is now asking is that. Why should soldiers come and fire bullets in the first place, nobody is calling it massacre anymore.
All the noise ended up as lies and hoax. Even the CCTV camera they raised alarm that was removed at the toll gate turned out to be lies.
Those doing the lying are actually doing more disservice to the movement because it casts all else in doubt.
I maintain; you can condemn both the shooting & the lies.
Buhari is not the owner of Nigeria. Do not burn down this country with lies. If we burn down this country, Buhari will retire 2023 and the damages we caused , all of us will still suffer it forever.
Pigo Hedliger.. I commend your sincere analysis. I guess you were handsomely paid to do this. Just keep the good work going. We'll all be served round Pls, just answer these questions 1)Why was that light( both the bill board and the other sources of light) switched off at lekki toll gate. 2) why was the cctv removed. 2)That bolded part, you also can testify that soldier came to a peaceful protest ground to disperse protesters with live ammunition. What went wrong with using rubber bullets, Canons, teargas. You are aware of what stray bullets can cause in such a very large crowd but they still went ahead to fire live rounds. Can you give a very good reason why they resorted to using that method. |

festacman: First, let me acknowledge that Sandra Eze has right of movement but walking out of the live program was unprofessional and huge disrespect to her co-presenters, the viewers and her employers. Sandra is not as cerebral and critical as Tope Mark-Odigie but she applies professionalism. One day, Sandra will own a TV show or TV stations and I will see if she will applaud and promote an employee who walks out on her live program.
Second, let me also acknowledge that Sandra Eze has right of expression but not respecting the corporate interest of your employer is pure SABOTAGE. TVC gave her platform for fame and experience. If an election was up in a few days and somebody made a careless statement that would damage the political fortune of your employer and you were told not to escalate the sensitive issue, why go ahead and escalate? Even Agatha Amata's TV she is currently working with was funded by ex-governor Uduaghan. So, will they spare her if she deliberately did anything that would damage his political fortune?
A typical illustration is the fact that many people who disagree with #EndSars protest organizers' tactics are exercising restraint to criticize because of far reaching consquences of damaging the gains made and being seen as enemy of the youths. That's wisdom which Sandra lacks.
The truth is people should learn to accept consequences of their actions without blaming others. Very good analysis. Let's put our hatred for tinubu aside, she was totally unprofessional with her behavior. So weda bourdillion sacked her or not is not even an issue. No CEO in his or her right senses will condone such act. |
