The maize, soya beans meal, GNC ( groundnut cakes) are all expensive from April to July when the companies make most of their revenue and profits because they mostly stock this materials from September to December when they are cheapest thereby making max profits in July.
If you look at livestock chart, historically it is always down January to march and start picking up April.
Maize last December was 40/45k per 100kg compared to 80/90k in June/July. So other materials.
So, preferably it's best selling the stock now to enter Dec/Jan to dump July/august.

Please for a month now, I've been trying to place orders with Meristem and I keep getting "Trading Account Suspended" Error. I had reached out to them via support desk and they initially said I needed to updated KYC so they can updated my account with CSCS. I filled the form and sent back and they reverted it issue is fixed.

But till now am still getting same error. I've reached back to them and they said they are following up with CSCS.

Please does anyone have any ideas how else I can get this sorted?

Depends on account type you open. Cent account obvuoisly has high spread.
Advantage account needs minimum of $200 to activate but lesser spread.

I use them and I fund account with local bank transfer

Sometimes I enter a trade before break out happens if I see some kind of weakness; at times I use pending orders. Before drawing my chart, I look at the monthly time frame to see the market structure first, then weekly time frame, to know the direction of the market for the week. Then I move to the daily, then to the 4hr time frame where I draw my chart, then later move to the 30mins or 15mins time frame to see if the market is giving me a structure that would make me enter the market faster.

That said, I would not align with FBNH at the present mkt price.
A trade set-up that borders around a 21.7 to 38.1% discount from current mkt peg, subject to mkt dynamics should be a better deal though. (RRM from FVE in view)
