I also learned that Nigeria's 36-game WCQ unbeaten run is only second, worldwide, to Spain's run. shocked

I will be surprised if this referee is chosen to officiate at the World Cup.

The laws of the game mandate the ref to show a red card to a player who headbutts another. But this ref only gave Slimani a yellow huh

In 8 WCQ matches, the Super Eagles have only conceded 3 goals, 2 from open play.

This is probably the best defensive display by a SE team in a World Cup qualifying series.

While I agree the judgment was inhumane, the judge is only applying the law to the facts of the case.
The prosecutor proved beyond all reasonable doubt that the convict committed robbery at gun point. Armed robbery carries an automatic death sentence even if the robber stole N200; as long as he/she committed the offense using a firearm.

Yes. I’d rate their service 9/10 just because the streaming breaks off, occasionally, when it’s projevted to a tv via chrome cast. But other than that, they’re pretty decent, even to the extent of providing On-demand videos.

There are 3 subscription options:
Sling Orange - $30/month. Carries FS1 and FS2, and ESPN plus other networks for news, movies etc

Sling Blue - $25/month. Carries only Fox Sports channels, but no ESPN

Sling International- $10/month. This is the one that carries BeIN and some non-US Sports channels (it doesn’t carry Super Sports though).

There’s a 7-day free trial period with any of the subscription options. It’s after the free period expires that your card will be charged.

Even the anti-gay law, as Keyamo said, only punishes those who facilitate or are caught in homosexual activities i.e. sex, same sex marriage.

I'm hearing that FIFA and UEFA are engaged in discussions about the formation of a proposed "World League".

The World League will be a league of nations that could be used as WC qualifiers, and will eliminate friendlies altogether. Teams will also be grouped based on their FIFA ranking, in groups of 7. So, the top 7 nations in the rankings get to play each other in the league.

Good or bad idea?

FIFA are considering replacing international friendlies with a new 'World League', Estadao have reported. This implementation would last a whole year and divide nations into first, second and third divisions.

The proposal comes with FIFA conducting a broad review of international tournaments ahead of next summer's World Cup.

Friendlies have proved increasingly unpopular given the focus on club football and there is a growing perception that they are nothing more than a distraction.

The 'World League' appears to have similarities to the 'UEFA Nations League', which is how European countries will qualify for the 2020 European Championship.

That has led to complaints from South American nations such as Argentina and Brazil who are finding it harder to play lucrative games against European opposition. FIFA are now discussing the idea of the 'World League', which would likely be introduced in 2019 and involve sides from different continents.

The divisions would represent the quality of the countries involved using the world rankings as a criteria, and would be played over the duration of a year.

It might not be the only overhaul planned by football's world governing body. FIFA president Gianni Infantino has revealed that all competitions in men's and women's international football will be evaluated to make them more attractive to a wider audience, and that the review will be completed by March of next year.

Her dressing cannot be “unprofessional” if her bosses approve of her style. Of course, the news producer knows that the tighter her outfit, the more ratings the show will garner (especially from men).

But, I agree with you that it’s not necessarily a race thing. I think it’s just a case of a woman, in her late 40s or 50s hating on an attractive lady.
