Why must the Super Eagles play friendly match with England each time we qualify for the World Cup? Have guy noticed that each time we play friendlies with them, we end up doing badly at the World?

I would have said the English team are purveyors of bad luck for the Supet Eagles but then their wicked Embassy people may be reading this and not grant my Visa application.

Let NFF try Brazil, France, Portugal or Argentina for a change biko.
The last time the Super Eagles played a friendly with England was in 1994, prior to the world cup that year.

The reason you are not supposed to be a lawyer. "It would have been announced publicly" really?? I feel sad for your clients. The onus is not on the defence now, is on the prosecutor FG that invaded his house to prove that he is not in their custody but the facts speaks for itself and the fact is this, they invaded his house, they now must provide information on where he is.
As of now, I’m not a lawyer. But if the FG has Kanu in military custody, it doesn’t make much sense for the same FG to prevent his appearance in court.

Or is the government so desperate to forfeit Senator Abaribe’s N100 million, that it would play dirty tricks in this matter?

The issue, here, is that for some reason, Mr Kanu seems to have jumped bail. If he has been kidnapped, then the folks who posted bond would appropriately argue that exigent circumstances exist because, for all we know, he could even be dead.
PoliticsRe: Abaribe Applies To Withdraw As Nnamdi Kanu’s Surety by PDPGuy: 9:00pm On Oct 17, 2017
msld:
As a lawyer you are, you do not know that exigent circumstances prevails as a precedence. The invasion of his house by armed men, absolves all bail sureties from any liability. Is for Nigeria army to explain the reason of the invasion, to destroy evidence, to carry out extra judicial killing or to manipulate justice process. First year law student will thrash that ruling in a higher court easily.
Till Nigeria army present Kanu, sureties can sleep fine, the judiciary does not listen to sentiments or news.
Well, if the Nigerian Army has Kanu in custody, it would have been announced to the public.
After all, his group is now legally recognized as a terrorist organization (which I disagree with), and thus, the Nigerian Army has the authority to go after the leader of the said terrorist organization.

Moreover, it will hr tough to prove, in court, that the alleged invasion of Kanu’s home by the Army is the actual and/or proximate cause of Kanu’s failure to appear before the FHC.

So, the FG could argue that exigent circumstances does not apply here.
PoliticsRe: Abaribe Applies To Withdraw As Nnamdi Kanu’s Surety by PDPGuy: 8:21pm On Oct 17, 2017
Lol

Senator Abaribe, bail is non-refundable. The whole purpose of bond/bail is to ensure that the defendant (in this case, Kanu) appears in court.

As Nnamdi Kanu has refused to honor a valid court summon, those who paid bond for him have to forfeit the money to the court.

Some people seriously think someone of Rohr’s personality will hold an “open” camp prior to the World Cup? cheesy That is clearly a pipe dream.

At the very least, Rohr will invite 7 other players to the 23 he invited for the last three WC qualifiers, for his FIFA-mandated preliminary 30-player squad list.

I wouldn’t expect the coach to name more than 5 new faces to his final 23. The players who I think are in danger of missing the World Cup are Ahmed Musa, Alampasu, and Mikel Agu.
Osimhen (or Abraham) could take Musa’s spot. Uzoho, if he stays with Deportivo’s first team, could give Alampasu a run for his money. The need for another midfield controller may see Our favorite - Joel Obi (if he is fit) - replace Mikel Agu.

Moreover, I wouldn’t put it past Rohr to name 8 defenders to the World Cup, with Akpoguma deputising for Shehu at RB, Echiejile as back up to Aina, and Uduokhai and Awaziem deputising for the Oyinbo wall.

And I would let to get either one of these trio in our group:

Poland
Portugal
Russia

But trust FIFA to put us in the group of death, especially if we find ourselves in pot 3. Don't be surprised if we get this grouping:

Brazil
Italy
Korea Republic
Nigeria

or you can get:

Germany
Uruguay
Mexico
Nigeria

All I know is that if FIFA goes through to form, Nigeria should be in the group of death. Since I started following soccer, the strongest African teams almost always end up in the group of death. FIFA knows what they are doing.

O pari
I know, right. But this time, outside the top 10 Euro/South American teams, Nigeria can give any other team a run for their money.

The FIFA rankings surprise me too. I still don’t understand how the complex coefficients work. Poland’s last WC appearance was in 2006.

They should just give us Russia or Poland group abeg.
Yes, Russia will be the weakest of the seeded teams. But don’t forget that Spain, England, Italy (if they make it) will be in Pot 2. So, it could still be a tough group for us.

bro what are you saying....?
how come we Nigerians always don't learn from the past....
oliseh can never manage the eagles....except you wanna watch a quack and non-unified team...

coaching is not just abt tactics but also man management which oliseh lack....

he should stick to club football and forget about the super eagles....
and for siasia....yes he is good...especially when it comes to playing European and south America countries....
but still has a lot to learn when it comes to man management and players selection
These coaches can still learn under Rohr or some other manager. With time, they will learn the finer art of man management; so I'm not ruling them out completely from managing the Super Eagles.

Remember that Oliseh quit the Eagles primarily because he was owed his salary. But as the NFF seem to be a lot more professional in running their affairs, Oliseh/Siasia could be the next gaffers for the national team. Right now, Oliseh is close to being the first African to coach a team in Europe's top seven leagues.

someone said it is an unintelligent question and I am was just amazed. That Siasia is a better tactician is not even arguable, Rohr is the better manager I agree
In that case, Siasia could be drafted into the team. Rohr should even request for Siasia's help too.

Then, in 2 year's time, a combo of Oliseh and Siasia should coach the SE cos they are about the best Nigerian coaches at the moment.

Donald Trump is a 'malignant narcissist, a sociopath and a racist' says UN special adviser:

https://uk.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-malignant-narcissist-sociopath-racist-says-un-special-adviser-083246716.html

A special adviser to the UN has launched into an extraordinary outburst against Donald Trump, calling him a ‘malignant narcissist, a sociopath and a racist’.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs, an economist at Colombia University and special adviser to several UN secretary generals, made the comments on Radio 4’s Today Programme this morning.

Speaking about The President, he told presenter Sarah Montague: ‘I believe on an individual level he is profoundly psychologically ill.

‘He is a malignant narcissist and he is a sociopath and he’s a racist so so we’ve seen all of that unfold. It’s hard to say it but this is the grim reality that we face right now.’

An incredulous Montague replied: ‘Don’t hold back.’

RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Is Quitting Because I Don't Call Her, At Least Three Times A Day by PDPGuy: 11:33pm On Oct 13, 2017
OP, you have to make it know to her that it is unreasonable to call her 3 times a day. You, too, are a busy man, so she should understand that you don’t have time for some frivolous calls. Or I guess she’s not as busy as her job sounds.

She should understand that you calling her once a day doesn’t mean that you’re unfaithful to her. As you said, you call her 4 times per week, that’s enough.

Smart keeping versatile players..
But would you confine Aina to the LB?
I would also deploy him to the RB position cos we know that he is actually a natural RB. My full-backs to the WC would be Aina and Echiejile (at LB), and Shehu and Iorfa (at RB) Awaziem, as the specialist CB, would be back up to the Oyibo Wall.
Of course, if both Balogun and Ekong are unavailable, then Awaziem could partner with Iorfa at CB.

In fact, I like how the team is brimming with current and future talent.
With appropriate tactics and luck on the side of the team, a World Cup quarter final isn’t out of the question.

Russia 2018 Full Back Contenders

Right Back ONLY Options
Shehu Abdullahi

Dominic Iorfa (CB also)
Kingsley Ehizibue

Left Back ONLY Options
Jordan Torunarigha (CB also)
Elderson Echiejile
Stanley Amuzie

Left&Right Back Options
Ola Aina
Tyronne Ebuehi
Musa Muhammed (surprisingly LB all current season)

Moses Odubajo (NOT IN CONTENTION)is expected to be back around May 2018

Missing any name?
I’d go with Dominic Iorfa as a back-up to Shehu Abdullahi at the RB position. His versality will come in handy when the team needs a CB if something happens to the Oyibo Wall.

So Vincent is getting younger while Aiyenugba is getting older?! Lol!

I'm ain't saying Enyeama should be ignored but has he proven his Fitness this Season at any Club?!

We need to see him play before we can decide if he should be the No. 1 for the Eagles.

Secondly have you Guys considered what are likely to happen if he indeed comes back to the Team?!

We can't have two Captains in a Ship, and I'm kinda sure Mikel won't relinquish the Captaincy to him.

Enyeama was the Captain to the last World Cup, thus he would want to retire honorably as a Captain again.
It is not a given that Enyeama would likely contest the captaincy with Mikel.

Recall during the Steve McClaren era in England, McClaren initially dropped Beckham from his squad for the Euro 2008 qualifiers, and appointed John Terry as the new skipper.

But when the same McClaren recalled Beckham to the team, Beckham didn’t demand to be reinstated as captain. Instead, he fully accepted the reality of Terry’s captaincy.

Thus, Enyeama may well follow Beckham’s example and accept Mikel Obi as the SE’s skipper.
