Why do most (if not all) Nigerian women refer to the house where she and her husband live in as "my husband's house"?

Shouldn't it be referred to instead as "our house"? I thought both husband and wife become one when they tie the knot.

Even if it was the man who bought the house 100% with his own funds before getting married, there should be no fuss in referring to the couple's home as "our house".

The truth is,some Nigerian girls don't see the average Nigerian guy as worth any stress. So, while dating...they will try to milk them as much as possible. Relationship here isn't what I am very proud of.

Instead of complaining of Nigerian girls, why don't you guys reflect on why you are wanted only for the dikc and money. Nigerian girls are not the only ones that feel that way about you guys. The problem is, most of you are stuck in your hood. So, you think you are hot cakes for some non superficial reasons.

Instead of milking a man that you don't have feelings for, just tell him point blank that you aren't interested in him. Even if he asks you a second or third time, repeat your answer.
There is no need stringing a guy along. If a lady truly loves a guy and vice versa, there should be no milking of anyone.

Of course, if the girl genuinely doesn't have the means to pay for her fare, nothing stops the guy from assisting her in that regard. For instance, if I live in Lagos and the girl I'm wooing lives in Enugu, and she is a 300L student at UNEC, I have no qualms paying her bus or air fare.

I guess the writer's ire is directed to working class ladies who have the means to pay their own transport fare.

American girls will spend over $2,500, which is over N1 million to buy air ticket and travel almost 18 hours in the air from America to England to visit a man and also buy expensive gifts for him.

European girls will spend over 2,000 Euros, which is around N900,000 and buy a plane ticket to fly 17 hours all the way from Europe to Asia to visit a man.

But a Nigerian woman cannot pay[sic] N500 to visit a man inside her own country; but she will tell a Nigerian guy to send her transport fare and that she needs good and caring man..Absolutely incredible...This is a fact without argument
