How can a club pay a player 500,000 Pounds/week? And you say someone should go get a Bachelors and Masters degree? After all that, you'd be lucky to be paid $60,000/year. Mehn, this life isn't fair oh. |
Alaska is in serious danger. But now is the time to show how US missile defense works |
Happy 241st independence anniversary to the United States ![]() |
Even if you don't know how to cook, there is always google to guide you on how to prepare any recipe. |
Afam4eva: ![]() Wetin you still wan see? |
EvilMetahuman:Yeah. That's true, they got relegated. |
Personally, the other thing I found fascinating about America is the portion size of most restaurant meals. A meal meant for one person could actually feed 3 adults in the UK or Nigeria. Yes, they are that big. |
Hannah Cranston and Francis discuss the five things that some non-Americans find weird about American culture and way of life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c29qAiDqjkI 1. One whole aisle of cereal: A visitor from the Netherlands claimed that there are only about 8 different brands of cereals in Dutch stores 2. There are a lot of squirrels 3. The huge gaps in the doors of public toilets 4. Television commercials for prescription drugs: Its only in the United States that pharmaceutical companies are allowed to market prescription medication to the general public. 5. Saying "that's so funny", but never laughing at the other person's joke. |
Wow Did she write a PhD thesis as her resume? This is really serious oh. I'm even trying to get my resume to 2.75 pages, and this lawyer already has a 23-page resume. She must have been so trusted with many tasks in the law office(s)/firms that she has worked at. Kudos to her. |
So, Terry doesn't want to retire?! Instead of signing for another EPL team, he could have pushed for a move to the MLS to retire properly ![]() |
Lucasbalo:There will be no trace ![]() |
stanech:I don't mind having unprotected sex with Madonna, but I no fit suck breast milk from Bruce Jenner. |
stanech:Quite commendable if accurate |
I should move to Vegas soon ![]() In case anyone is wondering why the marijuana dispensaries only deal with cash, U.S. federal law currently outlaws the cultivation, distribution and consumption of marijuana. And as the banks are regulated by the federal government, they have to follow federal law in that regard. So, the marijuana dispensaries would have to be denied banking services. |
The headline of this post is absolute bollocks. Acting President Osinbajo, by virtue of the powers vested in him by section 145 of the constitution, has assumed ALL the powers of a substantive president. So, there is no hindrance to Nigerian ambassadors or foreign ambassadors in performing their respective official duties. |
bigkesh:That is really scary. When Chile's vastly experienced team can't beat Germany's B (or combo of B and C) team, just know that the rest of the world has no hope next summer. However, the one flaw that Germany's B team has is Draxler's selfish play. There are countless times when he preferred to dribble 4 opposition players instead of laying a pass to a well-positioned teammate. Joachim Low would have to work on that aspect of Draxler's game before the World Cup |
Guys, which international front-two or front-three is the best of all time? I'll go with Brazil's trio of Ronaldinho-Ronaldo-Rivaldo. These guys were an absolute delight to watch at the 2002 World Cup |
Lucasbalo:It's really baffles me at times. Seriously |
Timbuktuo:Of course, the president has free speech rights. What is in question is whether the president's speech was dignifying of the office he holds. For instance, you and I could say "Tonto Dikeh is an ugly idiot" without any scrutiny from the public. But a president (or other public office holder) uttering such a statement reeks of immaturity and lack of appropriate sophistication. |
Timbuktuo:It is 100% not dignifying to wish a president dead (the SS will be on your ass). But there is nothing wrong in attacking the looks of a president. Such speech is protected under the First Amendment. It speaks volumes that a president would stoop so low as to attack a private citizen's look on twitter. I don't care whether he "hits back" on people or not, but President should exercise far more restraint when going after people who he feels have wronged him. |
Timbuktuo:But is it dignifying for a president of the United States to attack someone's looks, or metaphorically say he saw blood dripping from the person's face? |
SirJeffry:Lol. Why do you say that |
Washington and Oregon are the first two states that give drivers the option of choosing neither 'male' nor 'female' as sex options on their drivers licenses. Instead, a driver could elect to choose 'X' as the gender the person identifies with. |
alfonso36:Yes. Even if you want to buy a full crate of soda, you'd have to have replacement bottles. But here, you buy, drink, and toss it away. |
Nina4u:You prefer doing it in the tub? |
abduldope:We don't return it. It goes straight to recycling or trash. |
abduldope:Yes o |
You won't believe it. I got to taste the 'Nigerian style' Fanta! It's been long since I got soda in a bottle
|
allrightsir:His status as a "confessed kidnapper" doesn't rob him of the guaranteed constitutional rights granted to every criminal detainee/defendant. The Nigerian constitution provides that accused persons should be charged to court within a 'reasonable period of time' i.e. 24-48 hours after detention. |
priceaction:Unfortunately, Ambode's law won't apply to his case because criminal statutes, in general, cannot have a retroactive effect. I believe Ambode's law came into effect a few days AFTER Evans was arrested, so it will be the previous law (or federal law, if there was no previous state law) that could be used in prosecuting him. |
Trump is holding a re-election fundraiser at...Trump hotels. Attendees are expected to pay at least $35,000 in order to be admitted to the event. |
