The only northern candidates I will support are Governors Dankwambo and Tambuwal. |
What a pity Her alleged criminal escapades will likely end up in a death sentence, unless a very good lawyer gets her off. |

darlenese:Which recession dey Naija? You mean that someone spent over N100k on bras? I have to agree with you that the bf/fiancé/husband may have been into some shady line of work. There can't be any other explanation. N100k is more than the starting salary of 80% of graduates oh |
This is man's inhumanity to man! I can't even imagine going one month without pay, let alone TWO YEARS! |
President Trump will hold a press conference soon |
airmark:The VAR made the right and quick decision; the entire process from when the ball entered the net to the final decision lasted less than one minute. But it still has the potential to cause riot next summer ![]() |

Looks like Dani Alves may be heading to the Etihad after all. At most, he will give them 3 years of scintillating wing play.. |
I have heard from a reliable source that Ronaldo is definitely going to PSG. He initially thought about going back to Man Utd, but felt that he has already been successful in Manchester, and wants a new challenge. |
What do you guys think of these proposals from IFAB? Are any of them feasible? - passing to yourself at a free-kick, corner and goal-kick - a stadium clock which stops and starts along with the referee's watch - allowing the goal-kick to be taken even if the ball is moving - a goal-kick being taken on the same side that the ball went out on - a "clearer and more consistent definition" of handball - a player who scores a goal or stops a goal with his hands gets a red card - a keeper who handles a backpass or throw-in from a team-mate concedes a penalty - the referee can award a goal if a player stops a goal being scored by handling on or close to the goal-line - referees can only blow for half-time or full-time when the ball goes out of play - a penalty kick is either scored or missed/saved and players cannot follow up to score to stop encroachment into the penalty area |
IFAB will consider scrapping 45-minute halves during their next meeting |
Papiikush:It's not an unusual law though. Many jurisdictions in Europe and the US have a similar prohibition on smoking in bars/restaurants. |

The Nigerian Law School has released summary of its final examination results, with 28 per cent failing the exam. Olarewaju Onadeko, director-general, Nigerian Law School, made this known in a statement on Saturday in Abuja. He said that 2, 125 students participated at the examinations conducted from April 22 to 28 while 1,393 were successful. He also said candidates with conditional pass are 196 while 596 failed. A further breakdown of the results showed that candidates with pass accounted for 65.6 per cent, those with conditional pass represented 6.4 per cent, while those who failed were 28 per cent. Onadeko said that the ‘call to the bar’ ceremony for the successful candidates will hold on July 13 in Abuja. https://www.thecable.ng/28-fail-bar-exam-law-school-releases-results |
Anyway, Ronaldo is 99% not likely to go to Chelsea . So, I'm gonna go with this formation for next season-----Azpi-------Luiz--------Alonso----- ------------Kante----Bakayoko------ ----Moses-------Fabregas----Willian---- -------------Pedro---Lukaku-------- When Hazard returns to full fitness ny November, Pedro will drop to the bench. |

Nihilist:If Chelsea signs Ronaldo, Pedro and/or Willian will have to be sold. Ronaldo may demand £500k/week, but at 32, Chelsea should be able to negotiate a £350k/week deal. My fantasy formation with Ronaldo in the side will look like this : ----Azpi-------Luiz-------Alonso--- ---------Kante----Bakayoko---- ------Moses----Fabregas-----Willian----- --------------Ronaldo---Hazard--------- |
Ronaldo wants to leave Real? Will Man Utd be his next destination? I can't imagine what Man Utd will be like, next season, if they have Ronaldo, Morata, Bale and James Rodriguez... |

LionDeLeo:More competition on local and regional routes is always welcome. As Nwachukwu said, only 15 million passengers passed thru Nigerian airports last year; the ideal target for the next few years should be 30-40 million passengers passing through the airports. That would ensure that many jobs in the aviation sector would be created or maintained. The increased passenger numbers will only be a reality if the average fares come down. And the fares would come down when the airlines do not have to spend forex in sending their planes for C and D checks overseas; and the regulatory bodies cut the total aeronautical taxes and fees by 20-25%. |

Russia will not only be opening the tournament but will be making their Confederations Cup debut. This will be an important outing for both sides in a group which also features Portugal and Mexico. New Zealand are featuring in their fourth Confederations Cup, recording just a single point from nine outings to date. Recent form suggests New Zealand are a tough side to score against, although goals at the other end could be hard to come by. Russia will be quite a different side from that which turned in a modest display at last year’s UEFA EURO. Coach Stanislav Cherchesov has blended in several exciting players for the Sbornaya. |
A new airline, JetWest, is set to begin operation in the Nigerian aviation industry, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt. The airline, founded by a Nigerian entrepreneur, Dikko Nwachukwu, is being cleared for take-off and is billed to begin operation in December. Speaking about the plan, Mr. Nwachukwu said the guiding vision for JetWest is to make air travel accessible for more people. “We are about democratizing the skies,” he said on Wednesday. According to CNN, jetWest plans to launch this year with 100 employees and a fleet of three Airbus A320 jets flying local routes in Nigeria. JetWest says it aims to project a fresh and vibrant image, adding that the company’s social media accounts are already trailing colorful cocktails and memes ahead of launch, aimed at youthful, savvy consumers. The Nigerian aviation industry has suffered a prolonged spell of economic turbulence. Arik air, the nation’s leading carrier, was recently taken over by the government to prevent it from collapsing. “Nigeria looks like a low-cost operator’s dream with massive population density,” Ivan Nadalet, vice president at industry analysts’ CH Aviation, told CNN in an interview Wednesday. “But Nigeria is a very difficult operating environment…the economy has collapsed and there is no foreign exchange, so it is very difficult to get revenue out of the country for leases.” Mr. Nadalet added that JetWest may struggle to secure access to the airspace of neighbouring countries, where governments might fear competition that undercuts their own fleets. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/234222-new-nigeria-air-carrier-jetwest-begin-operation-december.html |
