Will Smith was in high spirits as he joined Jada Pinkett Smith and their kids to celebrate her mother's 70th birthday.

Adrienne Banfield-Norris, aka Gammy, just turned 70 and her family was in Baltimore to throw her a party.

After the celebration, Will took to Instagram to celebrate his mother-in-law while sharing photos, many of which featured him and Jada looking really happy.

Despite being separated for seven years, the couple has made it clear that they are not divorcing, rather they are working to get their marriage back on track.

Will: I dont feel comfortable with this idea. Dont you think it's a bit of a stretch. I am the one under attack here.

Hired PR: Remember Will, the goal is to show that you are in this together or else it gets worse. Your reputation is still in rehab after the slap saga, let's not lose all the gains made now Will.

Will: *grudgingly.. OK

Hired PR: Alrighty then. We will need to make this appear like a close family event filled with love, warmth and lots of sunshine. Only family members are invited.
