This is not to support BRF. It was Jonathan government who unbundled the power sector. We no longer have NEPA or PHCN in which the FG owns large share. We have gencos and Discos now. Please don't be lazy. Spend time researching Nigeria problems to be able to discus intelligently. Even if the government builds power plants today to increase capacity, they do not own the distribution companies. Wait till Atiku sells the NNPC. Niorte: |
I assume you are a typical Nigerian youth, with no idea of how things works in real world. NEPA was fully owned by the Federal Government. PHCN was partially owned by the Federal government. The previous government unbundled the power sector and sold it to the likes of Abdulsalam Abubakir. We now have Gencos and Discos etc. Wait till Atiku sells the NNPC before you understand what free Market really means with how you buy fuel. You can blame the politicians but do so sensibly. oderinlewo: |

This is a fact most Nigerians don't understand. The position of Ministry of power is regulatory, oversight and policy direction. Do you blame NCC or Ministry of Communication when your phone can't receive calls or you are unable to use your data. Blame the government who sold the power sector to individuals who are unable to run it. They are running the power sector the same way they ran NITEL aground. |
Who made you a poor mass? What is the make and model of the bike and pictures to confirm that the bike was worth 50 million naira. Stop spreading false news. vanbonattel: |
That must be the Jubril family who came to demand the 50% share of the crude sale, according to Bishop Oyedepo. The Aso Rock cabal covering their tracks. ![]() |
Do you ever wondered why the PDP are not using Dasuki detention to campaign against Buhari? Do you ever wondered why the west are not calling Buhari a dictator like you all do? Because they know he is doing the right things. One day you guys would catch up with the rest of the world in knowing what iis right. For now, because of people like you, Nigeria deserves bad leaders until you realise that you hhave suffered enough. eddiebruk: |
Do you think anyone who destroys this country would escape justice? One day they will be out of power and another government will open their books. However, you should stop that line of reasoning that people shouldn't be punished because there are others like them who are yet to be prosecuted. It makes you look like someone with some cognitive problem who also benefits from corruption. It's like saying police should not prosecute bribery cases just because they collect bribes too. Also, its like saying the thief who broke into your house should not be arrested because there are still thousands of thieves like him all over the country. israelmao: |
You can always join Dasuki in his detention room. Which court rulings did Dasuki followed when he shared money meant to prosecute war against insurgents? It's funny how you guys have so much hatred for the only person who is not interested in stealing your money and shows support for the corrupt politicians who had stolen your future. israelmao: |
That's smart thinking right there. Ehiscotch: |
And you trust the current crop of leaders and people wwe have in this country are ready for this? If you think scientifically, you will know that you work with samples to test your theories and hypotheses before you scale your venture. From your experience, do you honestly think the current state governments we have now have any good plans for their people? Do you think the kind of governor like Okorocha won't turn their state to their personal investment and will it to their family? Nigeria is not ready for any progress. orisa37: |

The EFCC has been busy freezing the account of anyone with corruption case. I hope this is not FFK strategically asking for favours or exemption because I am yet to see the article he is referring to. This sounds like an endorsement campaign. |
Spend the same energy you are using on Buhari issues on your life goals for the next 12 month and see what your life would be like. immhotep: |
Did you read the post? There is an executive order signed into law in October which enable the assets of looters to be frozen. I am sure a sensible person who want Nigeria to be like the West would be happy with the development. jaxxy: |
I am sure that Bishop is not going to be around for the election. Incarceration is inevitable for him. Thank God he had no intention of casting any vote. No one can blame PMB for this; Jubril el Sudan gets all the blame. |
Is this picture that of the Turakin of Adamawa or that of Atiku Abubakar? ![]() afroniger: |
You have one of the best mums in the world. REDshouse: |
They won't tell Buhari to obey court order because those people being held in defiant to your so called court order are the people who made your life the way it is now. USA has NDAA Act 2012 under which an American citizen can be held for has many years as possible without trial. Obama signed it to law in December 2011. I am sure if Buhari proposed such law your likes would kick against it. Anyone who stole and shared money to be used in fighting terrorism should be detain for as long as possible. In a sane society, when you commit acts of terrorism against your nation you loose your right to be protected under the law. What happens to the rights of the people killed by Boko Haram? The west knows that those people being detained indefinitely deserve to be jailed forever that is why nobody is talking about PMB not obeying court order. lordkush: |
Stop being a common man and get off the street. NaijaRoyalty: |
What's wrong with taking loans to build infrastructure that has potential to pay back the loans? Won't your parents take loans to send you to UK for studies? Receive mental clarity in Jesus name. wickyyolo: |
Stop responding to people like these. They can't handle intelligent discourse. They only know how to insult the PMB. Poverty has eaten their brain like cancer. They prefer a known corrupt politician to come back and run the affairs of their lives. Blue3k: |
The state and local government suppose to provide pipe borne water and enforce health and environmental laws. When Nigeria start reason properly the country will make progress. There was presidential election in Ireland two weeks ago. All the political parties agreed that the 77 years old president continue for another 7 year term. People should start questioning their local government chairmen or state governors. EgunMogaji: |
May God bless your parents for giving you good education and you for using your brain. Most of the problems facing Nigeria can be solved at the State and Local government level. But some people would blame Buhari for the blocked drainages on their local roads. Buckubuck: |
Which of the thieves is your favourite? Do you have any idea how Nigeria would look like if none if these people stole our money? AGNESikpuNNU: |
What exactly is your point? Read what you wrote again and see if that is the appropriate response to everything I wrote. Tell me if everything I wrote made no sense. I don't love Buhari or any Nigerian politicians, past or present. The questions i have for you follows my initial submission: What is the name of your local government chairman? Who is your ward councillor? These are the people you should contact for poor drainage in your community. They are in charge of your local roads and primary healthcare. They are in charge of primary and secondary school. They are getting monthly allocation and their own salaries and allowances. I don't know what your issue with PMB is, but all those countries you wish Nigeria look like all have functional local and state government. Start by asking your governor to stop using bulletproof cars and reduce their convoy. I know you won't reason now, you will catch up later. KingLennon: |
Unfortunately, your expectations are unrealistic. You want Nigeria to be like USA in 4 years under PMB. Let's assume that there was no unprecedented level of stealing and corruption during the GEJ era, do you honestly expect them to turn Nigeria to the class of Germany in 6 years? You should forget about Buhari and focus on your state and local government. The road in front of your house is either a state or local government road. You need a functioning state and local government. They are the closest to the people. Your state government collects allocation every month. Developed countries don't really care so much about the FG. There is going to be presidential election in Republic of Ireland tomorrow. All the political parties adopted the current president to continue for another 7 years. PMB is not your problem, your state governors and local government chairmen and councillors are. God bless you. KingLennon: |
You can both kill each other. We won't miss any of you. |
Your submission, about religious thinking being the reason the country is backward, made sense until you ended it with the usual North/South, tribal diatribe. People like you can really make a lot of difference in this country by helping to change the mindset of our people through cultural engineering and mindset reprogramming. I hope you can reason beyond the tribal blindfolds. Richdad50: |
No, they don't have sense. Poverty and illiteracy has been weaponized by the ruling class. Even many university graduates lacks capacity for logical thinking. WebSurfer: |
YouTube, the second most visited website is down. Its like its end of the world now. |
Where were you when they were made to refund the money? Omisore, Obanokoro, Olisa Methu etc were made to refund money but they couldn't invite Fayose because of his enjoyed immunity. Who cares whether the FG is biased? These people should just stop stealing public funds. If you are under 45 years old and you live in Nigeria, I can bet you have never slept with electricity for 24 hrs, 30 days straight. cmikel: |
