Some instituitons will make adverts for the general public and still publish names, that shows the level of transparency.

DPR, NNPC will advertise publicly, do test and interview publicly but the final list will be on code. Because of the underground movement.

Someone with 3rdclass from the requirements wasnt eligible to apply, my only issue is that, why can't someone who has access to the list post it here, or maybe the person can help us check, there are several things that can happen trying to call someone in Nigeria.

I literally just reactivated my nairaland account in order to post this comment. I have been one of the guests viewing this thread since 2016!
I got a call a few minutes ago to come pick up my letter at DPR’s Lagos office.
I don’t know anybody in DPR and my parents and relatives are not even aware know that I applied to DPR. I applied online and undertook the aptitude test and interview in Lagos.
My application data are as follows:
- Mechanical Engineer Graduate Trainee
- Interview Location: Lagos
- State: Ogun
- First Class BSc degree in Engineering and MSc degree (Distinction) in Engineering from the UK

From my experience, I would say that DPR definitely hired some new employees on merit. This is quite commendable.
Finally, I sincerely appreciate everyone who shared updates on this thread over the past two years. Trust me, It was of immense help. I would have missed my interview if not for nairaland.

I looked at the figures and it was conducted in abuja and not in Ekiti, it is very clear that INEC is not independent and the will of the people will not prevail. This Ekiti election is as real as the Minister of Finance's exemption certificate!

It is sad that a letter that was signed since the 1st of July and has been distributed to the "special ones" hasnt been made public and to those naive ones that said everyone that was interviewed wrote the test,.that is extremely false, and I believe even some persons that had no idea about the interview venues will still get the job "This is Nigeria".

Well I believe this is true, you know I do not think normal everyday people have been contacted, but this is very unprofessional from DPR giving appointment letters to people in the comfort of their homes, even before the official results are out and the obvious implication of such in the civil service.

if this letter is anything to go by it means, acceptance or resumption date is from the 1st of September 2018. Which indicates that the APL may not out until the end of July or August.
