Any one with this reapplication experience? Pls share your experience ....
I got refused and was asked to reapply if i have answers to the reasons they stated in my letter. I have provided the reasons and reapplied. To my surprise, my UCI number changed from what it was in the first app to another. I am a bit worried as to why this happened. I thought the number was unique anyways. Does any one have answes to this? Secondly my biometric info appear blank, maybe it will take time to reappear but with this changed UCI, i am a bit worried. pls help with answers if u have.

I have not been asked to go for another biometrics. I am very sure I filled the correct UCI in the Imm forms.

When you reapplied, on your imm form filled , did you leave the UCI number section blank? If yes, thats why you are having a new number and its possible you might do another biometrics for this new UCI number (not sure but possible). You are meant to fill the immm form and include the old UCI number or your last application, thats the unique that carries the info about your previous application even tgr biometrics information. On your application portal, do you see a biometrics number there if not, den my assumptions of doing a biometrics is correct.

I did provide the old UCI in the applicatoion forms as requested. I submitted yesterday and paid only $150. I also quoted that I am reapplying

Yes, I got the biometric request letter and did the biometric. I was updated on the 11 sept. Pls tell me if any one got AIP before BVL. I have my BVL today. What does it mean?

Did you get a medical request? Have you done your biometrics? Are you sure what you received is a Biometric Validity Letter or collection letter?

Hello my people,
When check the processing time for study permit outside Canada, what does the field "where are you applying from" mean? Is it the country one applied with their passport or the country where one submitted the app in?
E.g I submitted from Turkey, though online, so do I select Turkey there or Nigeria?

I have submitted the web form under technical error. I got a donotreply email on the Sept 1, with the summary of my escalation but no changes yet. This thing is worrying me oh. I applied from Istanbul.

What wait are we talking about? As if we are going on a personal business trip. Most of us have less than a month to resume for studies. Yet no medical, and even if some submitted upfront, they haven't submitted passport. In fact they won't say they don't know what they are doing. If they lost our app during system upgrade, they should let us know and reapply. For me i am not begging any visa officer to approve my application. In as much as they are doing their job, it should be justified as first come first serve. Enough of this nonsense... imagine some people are even asking questions on how to withdraw their apps, cos They system is hopelessly discouraging. They are deliberately doing what they are doing. Someone who applied in April was forgotten and one in June got reviewed. See, they should stop fooling us. If they need more documents, they should ask. If am not eligible they should say it early enough. After all, after waiting for 4months and they finally start review, it will pass through same scrutiny haba. They owe us feedback as at when due, and don't forget we were billed. If I committed a crime that got me not moving from background check to sth else and not admissible I need to be told not waiting indefinitely for sth that will never come by, guessing and feeling as if you we're sometime apprehended and konvicted before you were born.

@PendD. Dearie this energy u're using here could be used to seek the favour of God upon your application in prayers. Wether online or paper route, Calastus or Ghanastus lol..... ( can't help but laugh at all ur assumptions.)

We have seen here application submitted 3 February & got approved 20 February. And the likes....

Kindly be patient & trust God to d end. @ lbbravura, with dt nice app, he fasted 30 days.

I packaged my apps after a thorough study of this forum for 3 months.... didn't even hv time for comments or contributions, just being a voracious reader cum learner even to d midnights. (Sleep ke.. for where). 5 days to when l wanted to submit one of our wonderful gurus @ thesoj posted some nuggets......chai l sat back and digest it, and fine tuned my SOP. Having done all to stand, stand. l don do my portion, l no wan die.

This is not fair, we all have same intentions. They would have just flagged that online applications isn't treated for applicants from this part of the world. How can someone apply since March/April 28 with upfront medical yet no details of medical status updated. We were billed higher and online is suppose to be faster. One thing is clear here, their actions are deliberate!

Sweeping some applications under the carpet is corruption. Lol! Joke apart, some applications have stayed beyond waiting period yet they are not attended.

they just replied now, saying that they'll attend to my application shortly..

I don't really think so. When one is filling the web form, It is requested to fill where the visa is treated. I guess this is an indication for tracking purpose. What I don't understand is why these applications are not attended to.

That tracKing ID only shows where your biometric completion information is sent to be updated on your account and most likely where your TRV will also be issued when your study permit is approved. The study permit application(online) can either be processed in Lagos,abj or Ghana. Only paper applications are forwarded to Accra visa office for processing which will show the GHASTU code.

a quick question. .....pls has anyone had a tracking ID that's ......CALASTU****1? and where is this gonna be processed since it's not bearing the Ghana code which looks like GHASTU****?

It appears the CALASTU applications are taking longer than the waiting periods. Pls, indicate if you have CALASTU application tracking code and have heard from IRCC feb/march/april/june applications (Online).

You can get this codes through the messages sent by vfs after biometrics.

Pls i just got refused for travel history &purpose of visit. School resumes in September 6 and my dept has told me i cannot defer. Can i reapply and if yes what documents can i include in my new application to address the reasins for refusal.

Someone pls help me. How can I write IRCC regarding my online application since April 28, 2017.

The status has been on background check with only biometric completed same way since 1st week of May after biometrics at vfs lagos.

I don't think everything is ok or could they have forgotten my application? Pls guide, my school has started sending me email regarding registration.

Medical mail: 23/06/2017
Medical passed: 12/07/2017
Application approved/ passport request: today the 17th of July 2017.

Please guys where do I address my passport to? To all the TRV hopefully, just keep on praying and be hopeful because yours is just close by.

I applied 28 April online...no update. Medical still reads u don't need a medical...we will write you if this changes. Eligibility reads, we will write you when we start.

Yes it's, after that you get to eligibility review then approval.

It's during the background check CIC normally request for more document or contact you if there's an issue of misrepresentation in application.

Does it mean they confirm these account to know balances?

Good evening house ,after much thinking and consultation with gurus about the delay, I decided to call my sponsor to my surprise he admitted that he moved 2million after giving me the bank statement and sponsorship letter of which in my sop I stated 6m and which affected other calculations in the sop. cic are wise .......everything in life happen for a reason ....I spent 2months preparing for my application with day and night no rest ....running from one end to another. it's painful but God they.
