Same here.I don't dispute that.What I am saying is that there's progress.You are talking as though kenyans are where they were during moi's time.
Even if the wages increases have gone up by 5% only at least they went up. Unfortunately the cost of living keeps going up as well.
A good leader,the new constitution a good judiciary,proper security,healthcare,education and we can say we are somewhere.
So I care less about the leader.Question is can the leader deliver? If he can who cares about where he hails from?

1. I do not work for the goverment.Infact my employer is a foreign investor.My responsibility is to convince any foreigner why they should invest in Africa. I dont criticise too much cz the foreign media feeds on that.I always try to highlight the positives aspects more because the foreigner has his own country.This Africa is ours we either tear it down or build it. I am not those who like talking ill of Africa from the comfort of foreign countries all the time and tearing down any little show of progress. It doesn't help at all because it creates fear and scares investors. Africa loves bad news.We love talking about poverty,sickness,joblessness but do nothing. She was all about it. yeah I said these nolly wood actors have drove some women crazy here A lady in the hotel at mombassa wouldnt let me rest, immediately she sees me coming in from work, she will ask, ask and keeeeeeeeeeeeeep asking me questions about naija, of course we want to know more cz all we hear about is drugs and war.Its same with the taxi guy that takes me around, infact, on my way to the kakamega, i was like a king at the bus station, they were asking about eyimba, nigerian footballers, how come we ran soo fast at short distants race. In respect to church, naija churches like winners and christ embassy and others are doing exceptional well. Infact when a niajan pastor come around here, the people look at them like american pastors. But after a while people they engange in immorality and lose favour.They spoil market for the genuine ones. Winners and Christ embassy are the ones standing so far.Most had crazy immoral pastors from there.
Good country, its just the food. I was throwing up the first day i got here, no pepper in their food. You mean your food must have pepper? here you go to to ask for pepper lol thats funny what if you cant eat pepper?Or better still you should have asked for Indian food.I had to go to the supermaket to buy peper, which they call pili pili, yeah your right which i take around in my pocket and sprinkle on my food when ever i want to eat. they like too much sugar. They have lots of supermarket. Ohh they are all over.Big malls and such like. Some places look like the west. You need to sepnd ample time in Nairobi.Go down to village market ,Yaya centre,Bomas,Giraffe centre,park, gosh I could name a million and one places. I wish naija has lots of them like they do.
