Air travel is not the only means of travel. Internationalization can come through other means like rail,sea etc. Of course at a slower rate but still same thing.
Even though its airline is down,the country is still a significant block in the west due to its ports and and oil and soon trains.

What I mean is,where I come from, everybody's birth record is in a database.you cannot even enrol a kid in school without a birth certificate.whatever info you enter will be verified and truth known before you go for interview.

Meaning that even if you gave birth in the forest unnoticed that must be reported to the area authorities,verified,recorded and stored in the national database and a birth cert issued.So if you enter your birth date while filling out the form it can easily be traced to the database and everything about you including where and when you were born retrieved.

Actually, it's a sad Truth that Nigerian Airways that used to be a glory is now a history. Well, well, Nigeria, i can only wish (not hope) that it returns to those glory days; but that would be difficult because, the country seems to be too slow to compete with the pace of modern civilization. They have a very strong association comprising of matatu owners,drivers and touts and are very independent.
Those young fellows are no longer extorting cash becz the touts have ganged up identify and fight them off.It scares them off and do not even need the cops.
Just keep abreast with what is happening and come out of the archives.

And fyi there are many tribal groupings that popped up during the campaigns. Taliban,sugusugu,kosovo,jeshi la mzee, etc etc. That is how bad politics can get.But I hardly here of them.They are criminal and illegal.
