helinues:I used to give you some intellectual credit but I guess I’ve been wrong all along. So you don’t know I can create a burner account on X and name myself Yusuf Tukur? Does that automatically make me an Hausa man? Look at the mental level of the people we are dealing with on Nairaland 🤦 |
“Peter supporters”… Meanwhile this is most probably a non-Igbo behind the tiny and insignificant account. But you people will amplify it to serve your agenda. I won’t be surprised if it gets pushed to front page. But every right thinking human knows that no Igbo person will be making this kind of statement knowing the effect it’s likely to cause. |
fergie001:Head or tail, I see him losing out after the convention. There are vested interests in the convention. I think even Obasanjo may be interested in the outcome. The question is who still cares about what Obasanjo wants anyways? Such a shame! |
Make Senate kuku extend her suspension, kpere! I hope she’s doesn’t lose her voice when she resumes. |
fergie001:You say it’s Calabar Carnival. Lol! I’ve been looking at possible loopholes that he could exploit to get his men into any sensitive positions in the party again and I can’t seem to find any. And I really don’t think they would want to hold parallel congress. That might be counterproductive. And unfortunately for them, everyone knows who Wike’s men are which makes it difficult to smuggle their men in. What I see happening is that they will obtain a court order restraining the holding of the convention which might mean Damagum and Anyanwu continuing. |
Anybody expecting Tinubu to play fair would have to be the biggest joke of the century. Every sane Nigerian knows that 2027 will be war, not elections. And it’s going to be an uphill task taking Tinubu out of power as incumbent but that’s what is going to make the victory sweeter. For the one-millionth time, Tinubu will be smoked out of Aso Rock in 2027. |
fergie001:Once that convention holds and a new National Chairman and National Secretary who are not under Wike’s armpit legally emerge, that will be the end of Wike’s power in PDP. Or can he use his courts to scuttle things? We wait to see. |
Mynd44:I don’t wish to go on a back and forth with you but I need you to understand that my point was that some projects due to their peculiarity should be best handled by someone who not only possesses the expertise but has same emotional attachment to it as whoever is awarding the project. But if you choose to believe I was being bigotic, then I guess I can’t help you. |
Mynd44:I’m not trying to be tribalistic. I’m just saying that there are projects that should best be handled by an indigenous contractor while you outsource others. Imagine Katsina governor wants to build smart Mosques in every ward, who do you think will be more passionate about the project and strive to deliver it as envisioned between an Igbo Christian from Enugu and a Muslim from Katsina? Or imagine governor Lucky of Ondo State plans to embark on Cocoa regeneration project to make Southwest what it was in the times of Awolowo as regards Cocoa production, who do you think will be more emotionally attached to such project? A plant scientist from Kano or an Ondo indigene with verifiable history of delivering similar projects? You know what I’m talking about, not that I have issues with the guy being Yoruba. The MD of Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS) is a Yoruba man that previously worked with Channels Television, have you ever seen me express misgivings with his appointment? The CSO to Abia governor is from Edo, have you seen me express reservations with his position? |
IGBOPROMISE1:But see what he was trying to avoid happening to him. What’s the essence now? |
Neddstark:How many states in your region is using Igbo contractors? |
seunmsg:You are saying this because it’s an Ayodele that is involved. I bet you would have had a different opinion if it was a Chukwuma that was implicated in this. So you now know the law more than EFCC and can teach the agency the law and their job abi? This country will not go anywhere if you lots continue to defend rubbish and bend the rules once it’s your kinsman that is involved. |
So this guy is reason why the Enugu Smart Schools in every ward has not materialized as Peter Mbah envisioned it? This is not tribalism but I blame Mbah. There are Igbo contractors who would have delivered that project without all this kind of drama that is happening now. An Igbo contractor would have been passionate about the project and delivered it in the spirit of “Nkea-bu-nke-anyi”. I hope he learns from this. |
ezer:I guess we don’t have to trust anything from the so called NBS then. |
Can someone explain to me why Rivers is part of the states that recorded the highest price at above N22,000 when NLNG (refiners of LPG) is located in Rivers?🤔 |
YoshiMaster:Lol! The thing pain you sha. You have seen the characters you’re sharing country with na. I guess we don’t need to wonder who votes APC anymore. |
ayoolataiwo:Exactly what somebody said. When they are done waving him goodbye here, they will then enter their plane (usually a chartered flight with public funds) and go and queue up in the country he’s going to also welcome him. But somehow, you still see people defending them here. |
NTA posted a picture of governors and a minister saying bye bye to Tinubu as he departed Abuja yesterday for his annual leave, and it has caused outrage online as people are questioning the significance of such practice. What is most embarrassing is the manner at which they were waving at an already closed plane in a manner that is only comparable to what jobless children would do. This is not opposition nor anything like it, I’m just sad at the degeneration my country is going through. Every right thinking Nigerian should be embarrassed and angry that governors who should be busy attending to the responsibilities they were elected to take charge of, would rather devote their time to a shameful venture as this one. I pray Nigeria is saved, and soon.
|
Was it before or after he left his job in Lagos to go and say bye bye to Tinubu at Abuja airport?🤔 I couldn’t help but shudder at people’s fathers disgracing themselves.

ogmask:I’m not capping bro. And I’m sure you don’t expect me to give you my address on Nairaland. But from Transamadi to Rumuodara, from Rumuola to CFC, from Garrison to Rumuokoro, from Rumukpokwu to Rumuibekwe, I can tell you what is obtainable at every corner. You probably were made to part with 50k because you took one way. Cuz I’m sure you are talking about those boys that drive hilux with damaged front. But you will agree with me that you will have no business with them as long as you keep to basic rules of the road. Which is unlike Lagos where touts run rampage. Even the touts that collect money from drivers on the road are cultured. I’ve not seen them fighting any driver on the road nor even a scuffle. Unlike Lagos where fights between touts and drivers are daily routines. If you have lived in Lagos you wouldn’t be arguing with me. |
Ngwanu! Let’s hope Southwest and Kano is enough to return Tinubu to power in 2027. You think we are going to lose sleep because President of Kano has accepted to work for Tinubu? Jokers! |
CoronaVirusPro:I left Lagos for Port Harcourt sometimes this year and I can tell you that such rubbish is not obtainable in Port Harcourt. Nor is it obtainable in Enugu and anywhere else in Southeast and Southsouth. That madness is only obtainable in Lagos and Southwest. And now they want to export it to Abuja. |
We are in 2025 but their letter is dated 2024. If they can’t get even a simple letter correct, tell me how they will get even more serious things correct. And talking about the touts, are they untouchable? Na so una don fear MC Oluomo reach? I like as residents are beginning to give them madness for madness. |
He’s lying! Before ever the coalition was announced, the werey don dey paste posters and billboards for re-election. Third Mainland Bridge and some strategic junctions in Abuja saw hell in their hands. So, blaming opposition for the reason he started campaigning early is a big fat lie that would only be believed by those who don’t think. |
chopnaira:And what did you say to her? Attack I guess. |
Jokerman:Shoprite is dead and waiting to be buried. What you are seeing is just a carcass. They owed my company for a long time that we almost sued them. But I heard some Lebanese guys are trying to buy it now. |
BATified2023:Where did Igbos agree? |
President - Yoruba IGP- Yoruba Force Spokesman - Yoruba. A clear break from tradition where IGPs appoint officers outside their region to make for balance. But we have irredentists who don’t care. A government of the Yoruba, for the Yoruba and for the Yoruba. |
NigerianAngelo:What can Tony Elumelu do that Peter Obi can’t? |
