Lol BAT has started dropping the Agbado for our armed forces from Iragbiji, his hometown.

orisa37:It’s over now. Tinubu is now stuck with Shettima. |
helinues:Lol! I supported Obaseki over Ize-Iyamu. Who won? I supported Soludo over Andy Uba. Who won? I supported Adamu as APC consensus candidate, who won? I supported Buni over Niger governor when they planned coup against Buni, who won? That your lord and saviour continued shouting “Emi lo Kan” and bought both Aspirants and Delegates at the APC convention to emerge APC flagbearer against every reasonable reason, is not ground for you to feel yourself. His looted Lagos money helped him at the APC convention; let’s see how far it can take him in the general elections. |
helinues:You must be pained to see that the north that your Tinubu is trying everything to please is not swallowing the hook. Pele, ore mi! |
More.

As is my usual ritual every weekend, I try to read the raw reaction and thinking of different people from different part of Nigeria to different issues in the polity to enable me, and us, have the undiluted and unfiltered sneak peek into these peoples’s mind. So today I went back to BBC Hausa, which is like the biggest media platform for Northern Nigeria, and I saw this report where Adamu Abdullahi, Chairman of APC, was asking Christians not to worry or be agitated by the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket. Fiam!!! I rushed to the comment section to see what the people Tinubu so much wants to impress think about his choice and I was flabbergasted and trust me, you would too. NB: Almost all of them wrote in Hausa. So I always use the “See Translation” option below the comment to see the translation of the comments. As usual, I am dropping link here so you can follow the link and see for yourself so you will not think I only took screenshots of comments that suits my narrative and left out others that didn’t. https://bbc.in/3O6ND0Y Lalasticlala Mynd44

Tinubu urchins are still believing that somehow, he’d winning through rigging |
Obasanjo’s lobby is already paying off. |
VoteTinubu2023:If I were Tinubu, I would have fired you if you are amongst my campaign team because you are always out of touch with reality. Since about May of this year, people have been defecting from APC to other parties across the country… How many people has APC gained within the period under review? Or is politics no longer the game of numbers? |
ElSudani:When did we ever call CNN a fake news media? If my memory is not failing me, it was you people who called them fake news media after they exposed the atrocities of your lord and saviour at Lekki Tollgate. They exposed the massacre that happened there. And we will never forget until we are told “who gave the order”. |
CNN did all the dirty media jobs to ensure that Biden became president which makes them one of the biggest lobbyists in America right now. So, if ObiDatti gets CNN support, trust me when I tell you that they’d be just full stop away from Biden’s support. Before you come under my mention to display the hollowness of your cone head by telling me that interview by CNN does not equal endorsement, first tell your presidential candidate to book a date with CNN too. Tell Tinubu to do it if it’s easy. The urinating idiot has not even appeared on his TVC not to talk of facing Amanpour make she shred am to pieces. Vote ObiDatti for president |
It was reported earlier today that the official unveiling of Alhaji Kashim Shettima was postponed by the APC national headquarters without offering any reason for such postponement. However, any follower of events since Shettima was announced by Tinubu as the APC substantive running mate, would agree that the uproar and backlash that the choice has generated must have been the major reason for the postponement. Could it be that APC want to make a last minute substitution of Shettima? Or could it be that they want to take time to pacify aggrieved parties within the APC especially the Christian bloc who have vehemently rejected the choice of Shettima as running mate? But whichever reason it is, Tinubu is checkmated. I mean, e don choke am; as in, e hang like fish bone for him throat. If he continues with Shettima, he would continue to lose support and supporters especially among Christians. Or how would you expect a Rotimi Amaechi who is a Knight in the Catholic Church to have the courage to campaign for a Muslim-Muslim ticket to Rivers people? Or how would you expect Umahi who is a Deacon in Christ Embassy to campaign for an all Muslim ticket? Or Oshiomole who is also a Catholic to really go about trying to convince Edo people to vote for an all Muslim ticket. These people and many others will be stoned by their people and might even be sanctioned by their pastors. Add that to the fact that the Christian community for whose reason he would be taking such action would still not be convinced as majority will see it that Tinubu has bared his fangs as someone who cares more about winning than the welfare and interests of Nigerian Christians. What if he drops Shettima? Another option left for Tinubu now is to make a last minute substitution of Shettima’s name and choose a Christian northerner to douse the tension generated by his choice of Shettima. But you know the implication of such action? First, Shettima, who is an ardent campaigner and follower of Tinubu will be demoralized and so would Babagana Zulum of Borno state. The implication is that these two men will no longer campaign for the Tinubu ticket with vigor and enthusiasm like they would have if Shettima is retained. Again, Tinubu’s supporters in Northeast in general, and Borno in particular, will feel angered hard done by such action and might abandon the support for Tinubu in protest which would now restrict Tinubu further to only Southwest and some states in Northwest (not guaranteed). So, you see, whatever Tinubu does now he’d be choked. The old man has been beaten in his own game and has now reached a political cul de sac. Penguin is a bird of reason. |
If Osinbajo is a man of honour and a true Christian, this is the time to tender his resignation both from APC and as Vice President; to protest the brazen disregard for Christians by his party. Or are you telling me that Osinbajo who is a Pastor will participate in campaigning for a Muslim-Muslim ticket which if it succeeds will render Christians impotent and jeopardize our faith? Osinbajo where art thine honour? |
Rexymania:Buried on arrival actually. |
E don hang Tinubu for throat. |
franchasofficia:But God pass them. Except it is the will of God for Nigeria to be forever subdued then let it be so if not, God will prove himself God in 2023. |
Hurricane Obi is coming. In fact, it’s already here. |
Lol! Peter Obi don teach them to campaign with education ![]() Brainless copycats. Sorry Atiku, OBIdients are highly indebted to you for introducing Peter Obi to the national scene. But like John Baptist, you must now diminish for Obi, the messiah, to increase. We will always respect you as a detribalized elder statesman. |
Jack500:Unfortunately for you, I’m far done with my education. And guess what? I had both my secondary and tertiary education in private schools and was never affected by ASUU strikes. But that I enjoyed that luxury doesn’t mean I should not care about others who are having their time wasted by heartless and inhuman government. That’s where we are different. Because for you, if you are not affected then it’s not your business. But me? I’m too altruistic to look away whilst my fellow humans suffer. |
ejimatic:Do you remember why the Supreme Court ruled against Jegede in the Ondo case? Because Buni was not joined. Jegede’s lawyers tried to argue that by constitutional provision, Buni cannot be sued but majority of the justices disagreed. That was the premise upon which the Ondo case was dismissed and not because it lacked merit. Now, I’m sure, Adeoti’s lawyers must have properly joined all parties which would ensure that the technicality upon which Supreme Court decided the Ondo case will no longer be there. On what basis would the courts dismiss the case? |
helinues:Maybe I should have indicated “paid office/appointment/job” which is what the constitution says. Chairman of Governors Forum is a paid office. Chairmanship of a primary election committee is not a paid job. Can Oyetola prove that he served as member of APC CCEPC for close to 2 years without being paid? If the answer to the first question is yes, then what explanation do you and Oyetola and APC have to offer over the brazen disregard for Article 31(iii) of the APC constitution which bars an elected official from holding a position in its NWC? |
fergie001:Except APC will try to win Osun by “remote control” like they did in 2018, I do not think that the honourable Justices of the Supreme Court will be trying to defend the precedent set on technicality especially if basis for which the Ondo case was dismissed is inexistent here. However, I believe that this might be Ariwoola’s first major task especially if he was truly helped to seat by some interested parties. |
fergie001:Are you talking about the split judgment of the Ondo governorship case where the Supreme Court justices ruled on a 4:3 basis? Remember that case, like the Osun case, was decided on technicality and not on its merit. Article 31(iii) of APC constitution clearly states that “no elected official shall be a member of its working committee”. Similarly, the constitution bars an elected governor from holding any other paid office whilst he’s governor. These are the two constitutional provisions that the courts need to adjudicate on its merit and not on technicalities. The third argument which is about Oyetola not resigning 30 days to the time of primaries is also there. Because until today, there’s no document or piece of information that Oyetola resigned as a member of APC CCEPC though Oyetola is claiming in his response that he resigned in January - a claim that the court will have to verify. “Nemo iudex in causa est” (no one is a judge in his own case). Oyetola went contrary to this principle by remaining an APC official while he was an aspirant for election in the party. If his opponent can establish this, then he’s gone. |
funshint:Constitutionally, can a sitting governor hold another office? |
Frankitibobo:It’s not. I’ve seen it way before now |
Abdul05:It will be the end of his political career. |
Is Dickson going against his man Friday already? Well, that’s non of my business. What I wanna know is how OBIdient is Bayelsa people bikonu? Have not really heard anything much from there. |
Why would FG agree with ASUU when they have bequeathed their responsibility to Tinubu and his horde of cretins. They deliberately abandoned students at home so that Tinubu could use it to play politics. We see you people’s game. Ndi ala! |
Big lie! All of Buhari’s incompetencies were noticed by Igbos who repeatedly warned the rest of Nigerians against voting for Buhari but idiotic fools and brainless cretins called us wailers and voted for him twice. Same way we are warning against Tinubu now and same set of idiots and fools are planning to repeat their 2015 and 2019 kind of ignominy. So, Chief Undensi, exclude Igbos from those who didn’t notice Buhari’s incompetencies. |
IamWonderful:This early morning? You couldn’t take Peter Obi’s name out of your mouth when he has absolutely nothing to do with this piece of news. Just tell us u always see him in your dreams ![]() Meanwhile, NNPP never reach 3 months dem don dey get crisis. Thank goodness Obi didn’t align with them. |
HeavenVGate:We are getting nada We are just telling you that like we saw Buhari’s game from million miles away, so are we seeing your game now. And this time you will not succeed like Buhari did. |
Advocate500:When you realize that Northern votes alone can’t make Atiku president, you’d realize the precarious situation that Atiku finds himself. Or is there any state you think he’d win in the south? |
