Ohanaeze should stop advising these slaves. The moment Akeredolu publicly stated it was Malians trained in Libya that committed that massacre in a Catholic Church in Ondo, was the when I gave up on them. No Igbo governor can be that insensitive and irresponsible without the Igbo nation home and abroad coming after him.

Anyways that's the path they've chosen and I can safely say it's all over. That region is currently where middle belt was some years ago but they're now 90% conquered. They've betrayed their coming generations and would forever live to regret it.

Tinubu becoming president is more important than the lives and safety of their people. He has used this sacrifice to compensate.
He can’t call Fulanis na.

Fear dey catch am.

Besides, remember that Yorubas and Fulanis are one grin

We warned Tinubu and his herds of urchins of the danger that Buhari portends but they called us wailers.

Who is wailing now?

Well, except Osinbajo is stepping down for Amaechi, if not APC will be committing a grave political miscalculation by adopting either of Tinubu or Lawan.

Osinbajo and Amaechi are there best candidates.
Politics › Owo Massacre: What Is Tinubu’s Reaction? by Penguin2(op): 5:23pm On Jun 05, 2022
When what has gotten to a crescendo today was just brewing sometimes around 2018 when these nefarious elements murdered Afenifere leader’s daughter, the only thing Tinubu could ask was “where are the cows?” in his bid to exonerate the murderous Fulanis who are to be behind these killings.

Today, that small snake has grown to become a big python and spent over 20 minutes massacring Yoruba people inside a church.

What is Tinubu’s reaction?

Is he still looking for cows?

Anything to give 5% hope.

All the APC northern governors said it, we saw the letter

Anyway,All these nonsense will end on Monday
I thought you people said there will be no consensus that primaries must hold?

Buhari has said there would be consensus and I’ve been waiting for what you people will do since then.

But as usual, you guys are fixated on 5%.

Tinubu will not get the APC ticket and nothing will happen.

Meanwhile, I’m praying APC to give their ticket to the north so that the entire south can unite behind Peter Obi.

We warned you lots.
Politics › Re: SW Set To Get The Yaradua Treatment (AGAIN) by Penguin2: 3:26pm On Jun 05, 2022
EmperorHadrain:
By Yaradua treatment I am referring to how the north rallied behind IBB's preferred civilian candidate and business partner MKO so as to get rid of both IBB and Abiola in the near future .

The north that MKO had believed and depended much on during that election was the same north that immediately switched to Abacha's side when that one seized power.

Shehu Yaradua said that they (north) had planned to get rid of IBB once and for all by supporting his preferred choice MKO so as to allow for a smooth transition but at no time did they envisage MKO being president . So when IBB was forced to do a civilian transition and allowed to have his preferred nominee, same north did not argue but goaded MKO so as to allow the transition and IBB's exit to continue.
When MKO was clear to become the winner the north began their scheming and used one Okoro Judas to secure a court order barring the then NEC not to declare a winner.

It is from this orchestrated confusion that the north gave Abacha the green light to seize power.

Even Abiola's running mate (Kingibe) served under Abacha and is still recycling himself toll this day.

Tinubu getting the ticket (although very unlikely) or any other southern candidate is all a ploy to bury the APC in the next coming election as there is no way the Muslim north that has been waging jihad these past 12ys will accept a southerner (Christian or Muslim alike).

These northern power brokers are not part of Buhari's nepotistic inner cabal but outliers who Buhari sidelined since coming to power. They want Buhari gone and none of his preferred northern candidates to replace him so as to not continue the disastrous Buhari cabal structure.

It is for this reason they are pushing for a southern candidate for the APC so as to check Buhari anointing one of his cabal relatives to replace him.

A southern candidate from the APC will fail woefully as the north will simply switch to Atiku. Party affiliation means nothing to the north. It is only the ethnicity and religion of the candidate that matters.
Conspiracy Theorist where were you in 2015?

Where was this thinking when you and your kinsmen were voting Buhari in 2015?

Or Jonathan was waging jihad also?

Did we not warn you people about the character called Buhari?

I even want the APC to commit that faux pas of going north like PDP so that the unity of the entire south and MiddleBelt behind Peter Obi will be faster.

You go fear alignments and realignments that would happen between now and March next year for Peter Obi.

Please they should give it to Ahmed Lawan or Yahaya Bello.

Malory:
Or how PDP betrayed the Igbos
No.

We betrayed ourselves.

Imagine Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu from southeast standing behind Wike…

Was it Iyiorcha Ayu in Abuja or Atiku that asked them to do that?

Imagine Chris Uba and Stella Oduah making themselves tools that were used to take Anambra PDP from Obi in support of Wike. Was that Ayu or Atiku?

We are our worst enemies.

So, Osita is right.

It’s sarcasm.

You know when Igbos are saying that Fulanis are behind the killings in Igboland, some Yoruba folks here will insist it’s IPOB that is killing Igbos.

That’s what he’s trying to do them back grin

Obadiah Mailafiah warned us that this would happen.

Let’s watch and see.
Politics › Re: Please, Osinbajo And Lawan Forgive Me: Shettima by Penguin2: 1:45pm On Jun 05, 2022
You see why we don’t want this man and his boss - Tinubu?

We might spend 8 years being told that the things we watched them say on video were taken out of context.

First, it was Tinubu who was captured on video lambasting Buhari, Osinbajo and Dapo Dagboru, only to issue a statement later that he was quoted out of context.

Now, we watched Shettima in an over an hour interview lambasting everyone he felt stood in the way of Tinubu. Now he’s saying he was quoted out context.

Well, let me save my breath because I’m 1001% sure Tinubu will never get APC ticket. Instead of that Buhari will give it to Ken Nnamani to waste grin

shortIGBOman:
The Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi was sighted in a Brothel. grin grin
Mary Magdalene, who some Bible scholars regard as a prostitute, was recorded using her tears to wash Jesus’ feet and anointing it with expensive ointment.

Sensing that His disciples were thinking negative about the act, Jesus asked, “between the healthy and the sick, who needs a doctor more?”

The disciples answered that it’s the sick.

Jesus replied them and said, that similarly has He not come for the righteous but for sinners.

So, Shortigboman, save your breath. Most of those people in that nightclub are there to drive frustration away. It is also most of them that have their PVC just for account opening purposes. If he can succeed in giving them a message of hope and a reason to believe in Nigeria again, then he must have achieved a lot regardless of where he met them.

So rest.

Well, it depends on the version of Wike that we are having now. If it is the Wike that stayed loyal to the party even when others defected, then no problem, but if it is the Wike that is bitter due to his loss at the primary, then there's fire on the mountain. Loyal Wike or bitter Wike, Atiku's fate is hanging between the two.
Irrespective of which version of Wike it is, do you see Southern youths throwing their weight behind their ticket like they did because of Obi?

Can you compare what is in the head of the two men?

Where in the south do you think Wike can win right now?
Politics › Re: APC Presidential Aspirants’ Fails To Produce Consensus Candidate After Meeting by Penguin2: 1:33pm On Jun 05, 2022
FakeUnity:
You don't know the North and their politics. They are very practical at Arewaism.

They may ceed APC ticket to the South and then let the southerner waste his time and resources in the North. Their talakawas can't abandon their own for a southern kuffar except both tickets has southerners as we saw in 1999 when they had to choose OBJ whom they very knew well.

When tinubu or osninbanjo loses in the main elections (in the event he is selected as flag bearer) the APC hajis will tell him 'Well you can't complain, we gave you the ticket as agreed, but nigerians wanted somebody else'.
Who were the candidates for general elections in 2003, and 2011, and who won?

In 2003, there was Obasanjo in PDP and Buhari ANPP. The (core)north voted en masse for Buhari but Obasanjo won.

In 2011, there was Jonathan in PDP and Buhari in CPC. The (core)north repeated their voting pattern but Jonathan won.

Will northerners work against a southern candidate? Likely.

Will that cause the southerner to lose? Not really.

The north alone cannot make anyone president. They need the south. So what matters is for the southern candidate to win heavily in the south and get considerable votes in the north and he’s good to go.

So, don’t worry about northern treachery.
Politics › Re: Southern Presidency: OBJ Backs Obi, Woos Wike, Others by Penguin2: 1:20pm On Jun 05, 2022
I’ve said it before and I will say it again for Nairalanders to know my stand.

Obi has a chance at the presidency.

I see him becoming the candidate of the south.

I see the south uniting behind him.

I see Tinubu raising Peter Obi’s hand.

And if we can get Kwankwaso or Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as his running mate, heaven knows they’d defeat any candidate.

Imagine the votes of the entire south, the votes of the MiddleBelt and a fraction of votes from the core north through Kwankwaso or SLS, tell me why they won’t win?

And now OBJ is about to join the train, forget.

The only antidote to this calculation is if Osinbajo emerges APC candidate.

Or Amaechi, to a great extent.

If APC goes north as well, then Obi will win the election before Election Day.
Politics › Re: 2023: We’re Not Slaves, We’ll Support Obi — PDP Chieftain by Penguin2: 9:28am On Jun 05, 2022
I’ve said it before and I will say it again…

We have a chance at what we are trying to build.

With about 7 months to the presidential election, we have ample time to sell the Obi candidacy to the naysayers and establish the structure of Labour Party in places where it hitherto was not.

But we must be practical, pragmatic and realistic about it.

We need a strong northerner to deputize Obi.

And the only man that ticks the boxes is Kwankwaso.

Obi’s handlers should not build so much on hopeless hope but rather do all they can to get Kwankwaso to get his NNPP into an alliance with Labour Party with Obi as Presidential candidate and Kwankwaso as running mate.

Trust me when I tell you that if they do not win the election, then they will be first runners up.

Peter Obi for President!

Meanwhile, if Osinbajo gets APC ticket, I don’t mind him winning. In the end, Nigeria will be better for it.

Politics › Re: Buhari Consensus Candidate A Scam Of The 21st Century by Penguin2: 9:27am On Jun 05, 2022

The move by Buhari to select a consensus candidate is only to ensure a weak Southerner who is incapable of defeating Atiku emerges.Suddenly the 11 Northern Governors are requesting a Southern candidate for consensus and the South is happy.Only political amateurs will fall for this. They make you believe they are with you ,then in the last day you realize the North are one and will do anything to keep power to the North.
APC WILL NOT WIN 2023 ELECTION BECAUSE THE NORTH WILL MOBILIZE FOR ATIKU
Relax!

A southerner can defeat a northerner in a general election.

Obasanjo and Jonathan demonstrated it.

An Amaechi or Osinbajo ticket will defeat Atiku.

Take it to the bank.

Amumaigwe:
You really don't know the North. They always vote their own and they will never stop. Now that you are even contemplating a southern Christian flying the APC presidential flag, coupled with the sharp ethnic and religious divisions is the country right now, tell me what the Northern APC leaders will tell Northern voters to counter what Northern PDP leaders will sell to them about Atiku. This smells like a grand design by the Northern Oligarchs to retain power through alternative means (Atiku) . For them, there is no PDP or APC at the federal level. It is just Northern Interest.

NB: They may even already have their eyes on 2031 election so that they will justify zoning it to the North then.
The north consistently voted their own in 2003, 2007 and 2011 without success until the south(west) helped them in 2015.

The north alone cannot win the presidency.

The idea is not for Osinbajo, for instance, to win the north, but to get considerable votes from there and then win majority of Southern states. Also remember that some North Central states always follows the southern voting pattern.

Or how was Jonathan able to defeat Buhari in 2011?

Broh, it's too early to conclude. Tinubu I know would want to go for Muslim-Muslim ticket and it will cost APC victory. As things are now, he stands at the better chance of clinching the ticket. All the odds might be against Tinubu. Atiku will beat Tinubu hads down. Just watch out, unless Osibanjo gets the ticket.
Yea, I know. That’s why I was specific about Osinbajo.

No matter how you wanna think about it, I don’t see the northern oligarchs allowing Tinubu take power.

Look at his utterances without power, imagine what he would do when he gets power.

We have not even started talking about the baggages he carries.

APC’s best bet is Osinbajo.

Their second best bet is Amaechi.

I agree with this analysis. The only way Atiku wins now is if Buhari does something stupid and picks an unpopular candidate. That now seems unlikely. If Osinbajo gets the ticket, he will defeat Atiku.
Exactly. If Osinbajo gets the ticket, he’d be candidate of the south. Apologies to Peter Obi. But Osinbajo as APC candidate will sweep Southwest votes, garner votes from SS and SE and the north, with Buhari support.

Amaechi is another candidate who can equally defeat Atiku if Buhari picks him.
