Kwankwaso is likely to be the 3rd runner up. Peter Obi can't stand him on a fair election, dem no be mate.

Back to topic, if these are the qualified and disqualified candidates in APC (which I strongly doubt and belief to be false) then APC no need go election. Their Strong men has been striked out
I feel APC deliberately took out the those with entitlement mentality.

Tinubu
Amaechi
Okorocha

These three men always feel entitled to the APC ticket because of their role in formation and victory of the party.

Disqualifying Tinubu and allowing Amaechi to contest would have been a grave injustice on Tinubu.

But like I said, let’s treat this as tentative.

Politics › Sitting On A Chair In The Mosque, Is Tinubu Bigger Than Allah? by Penguin2(op): 8:16pm On Jun 03, 2022
A picture of Tinubu in the mosque with Sultan of Sokoto surfaced earlier in the day.

But one question has been running through my head; “why did Tinubu sit on a chair inside the mosque, is he bigger than Allah?”

Around 2017, when Buhari was so sick and frail, a picture of him was taken in the mosque where he was looking like was going to breathe his last the next minute with Bukola Saraki captured looking him with disdain. But guess what? He still sat on the floor.

But here’s Tinubu who is asking to be made president sitting on a chair inside a mosque. Yet his handlers will say he’s not sick and frail.

This is an affront on Allah which must be condemned by every Muslim.

You very funny ooo

You talk as if pdp is the only party I edo state....didn't people vote for apc ize iyamu.

Like I said earlier edo state will vote osinbajo or tinubu cos of the closeness to the yorubas.
You are the one who is actually funny.

You called my attention to the party crisis in Edo, right?

Now, which party is having crisis? PDP or APC?

You are now talking of how some people voted APC in governorship election and therefore Edo people will vote for Tinubu/Osinbajo.

In 2015, with Oshiomole as sitting governor loved by the people, was he able to get Edo people to vote APC?

What 2019 with Obaseki as a sitting APC governor, was he able to get Edo people to vote APC?

Now, what makes you think that it is now that Edo has a sitting PDP governor that the people will vote APC in presidential election?

Why una dey like lie to unaself?
Politics › Did Tinubu Go To Beg Sultan Of Sokoto In The Mosque? by Penguin2(op):
So a picture of Tinubu and Sultan of Sokoto in the mosque for Friday Jumaat prayer surfaced online and it was clearly obvious that Tinubu went there to distract the peace loving Sultan of Sokoto from concentrating in his prayers.

I believe I’m not the only psychologist on Nairaland, so I call on other psychologist and logical minds to join me in analyzing the picture.

1) Tinubu sat behind the Sultan
The first thing you would notice was that Tinubu sat behind the Sultan and seemed to be trying to call/get his attention. This is unlike what happens when men of such calibres go to the mosque together. They usually sit on same row; sometimes hierarchically. But Tinubu sat behind.

This shows only one thing - that Tinubu wasn’t in the Sultan’s entourage but only came to that mosque because he heard the Sultan will be going for prayers there.

2) Facial Expression of the Sultan and his entourage

Take a closer look at the facial expression of the Sultan and his entourage and you’d see clearly that they were not comfortable with Tinubu’s interference but had to indulge him possibly to avoid subjecting him to public embarrassment.

3) Unstated Assumption
In all of this, there is an unstated assumption , which is that the Sultan has possibly been avoiding a meeting with Tinubu and Tinubu had to find a way to force himself on the Sultan.

Drop your biased lenses and you’d admit that these things I said here are true.

But guess what, Tinubu and his herds of brainless urchins are about to be served Otogé at National level.

Even Lai Mohammed that championed the Otogé movement is now a persona non grata in Kwara APC.

Saraki is having the last laugh today.

And before you remind me he failed at PDP primaries, remember that man is just 58 and has time to try again after 8 years. A luxury that Tinubu can only wish for grin

'Days before his disqualification, there was confusion about the genuineness of Mr Obaseki’s university certificate, until the University of Ibadan came out to confirm that he studied classics in the school and graduated in 1979 with a Second Class Honours, Lower Division'

If Obaseki had challenged his disqualification, the Court would have vindicated him and declared the disqualification as illegal but he chose to decamp to PDP
But he was disqualified regardless?

Let those disqualified now challenge their disqualification in court.

TheTrueSeeker2:
APC Lacks the Power to Disqualify Any Candidate for an election.

It is only the Court that can disqualify a candidate for an election in Nigeria.

The Supreme Court had ruled that even INEC lacks the power to disqualify any candidate.
https://allafrica.com/stories/200704170002.html

There is nowhere in the Constitution that proscribes age as a barrier to any candidate for any election.

While I am not a fan of any of the candidates in APC, I feel APC would be shooting itself in the foot if they make a wrong move. A disqualified candidate would sue the party and all activities after the convention would be declared null and void.

They should allow every candidate to lose gallantly
No court has jurisdiction over internal party affairs.

Go and rest.

APC can disqualify anybody it dims fit to going by the criteria it has set out for characters seeking her ticket for Elections.

You dont get my point, money can't get you everything especially in the north. We vote our heart even if we collect your money. Buhari won't give tinubu the ticket, of he does then Northerners will rather support thief atiku than a southern thief..

Tinubu will also fail woefully in the Southeast, he even refused to go there to seek delegates supports , in south south he only visited Edo and cross river. I expected better diplomacy and wit from a strategist like tinubu.

Its over for tinubu. Even in southwest Ogun state is for osibanjo, tinubu even insulted the governor yesterday to which he replied today

Oyo is a pdp state

Ekiti is in fayemi hand and he's and aspirant, he has always associated with cabals

Ondo belongs to akerodolu who stands with osibanjo

Only lagos and osun might follow tinubu to leave APC.. Even In os un, aregbesola controls most delegates and he's currently with buhari in Spain

The simple question I asked him was to tell me which state in Southsouth that will vote Tinubu.

On what grounds?

Like, do these people leave their enclave at all?

Even on social media, is their anybody from Southsouth that is supporting Tinubu?
Politics › Re: My Political Analysis For 2023 Elections...my View by Penguin2: 4:54pm On Jun 03, 2022
Godoverevery:
Firstly I want to let everyone know this my opinion based on my research of politics in Nigeria since independence.

In asmuch we all want someone who going to change the fortune of this country will the elite are the major problem of this country.
How many elite are card carrying members of parties in nigeria??
We can keep on shouting on social media everyday nothing will change if we don't get involved.

Let me analyse why our choice of people will not win elections yet in this country.

1: Politics in nigeria is money base......To win/lose chairmanship election of a local government you need over 50million and above depending on the state. Now imagine how much it will cost for governship/presidency

2: You need the power that be to support your candidacy to win election in nigeria

3: You have to be a grassroots person.

4: You need a party with strong structure so you have a better chance in campaigning and reach out.

All this been said....let me talk about individual who want to be the next president of nigeria.(the strong one's)

Only Atiku and tinubu tick those box highlighted.

Osinbajo and Peter obi are fantastic people to rule this country but they don't have things required currently to win.

Osinbajo is well loved but imagine him without being the VP......even in ogun state he doesn't have any influence due to the fact he isn't a politician.
If he wins his case won't be different from GEJ....they will gang up against him and frustrate is tenure.

Peter obi he loved but he can't win under LP .a party without any member in house of rep, house of assembly, no state governor.
Where is the structure and funds to finance the campaigns??
Let not forget the tribal angle to it.....which influential northern will he tag along to campaign for him in the north.

Either we like it or not we are left with two Atiku and Tinubu (even if tinubu doesn't win apc ticket any party he goes to he more formidable than any other person).

Atiku will only lose if the SE decide to vote obi alone..
This how the voting will go based on my view.
SE -obi/atiku
SW- tinubu/osinbajo
SS- obi/atiku/tinubu
NC- tinubu/atiku
NE- tinubu/atiku
NW- tinubu/atiku

This my analysis is based on what is on ground now.....in politics nothing is constant. Things change everyday and 2023 Is still a long time.

Alliance's will be formed couple with betrayals....we will see alot of moves that will shock people to there bonemarrow.

Let always remember nigeria politicians only care about there interest so is not worth fighting for any politician cause they are all the same.....thanks for reading.
That you said SS will vote Tinubu shows how poor your research is.

Pray, tell me which state will vote Tinubu in Southsouth.

I’m waiting

Buhari will choose who will fly the Party's ticket, that's my Summary.

“Is consensus not one of the acceptable ways of choosing candidates, according to the Electoral Act? So the party can jolly well decide on the method it wants.

Read the stuffs very well, his main reference was to tweeps and Dino... They said they'll use Indirect nonetheless.
There won’t be Primaries as far as APC is concerned.

What will happen between 6-8 would be the crowning of Buhari’s candidate.

That Tinubu urchins are denying this obvious fact shows how much they lie to themselves and close their eyes to truth.
