Politics › Re: Igbo Presidency 2023 Election. Alignment And Networking Will Do It. by Penguin2: 9:28am On Feb 22, 2022
peacekante:
2023 Election. ALIGNMENT AND NETWORKING WILL DO IT.

Just like every other tribe and region, the igbos especially in south east have every right to contest next year presidency. But there is a Zoning formula in the country where power is to be shared between North and south. These zoning formula is not written in the constitution of the country. But it is a gentleman agreement in the national parties of the country. It was started by the PDP and the APC embraced it when it was formed.

However, the PDP zoning was tempered with by ex president Jonathan when he contested the 2011 and 2015 election after the demise of president Yard adua(a northerner). Meanwhile, these all but confirmed that zoning exist in presidential elections and also state elections, no one in Nigeria can win election without aligning with other regions of the country. While it is confirmed that APC will zone south and PDP look undecided, it remain to be seen which region in south has done their home work especially analyzing their SWOT analysis to get the presidency. Currently, the south east are banking on equity, fairness and justice to get the presidency. Though this is to a large extent true, it is unfortunate that many igbo leaders still think threatening and blackmailing the country will give them the presidency. Ohaneze, south east elders have been threatening to get the presidency or else. The Ohaneze recently said in quote " igbos must be giving the presidency else", . Let us look at it. Election is about your numerical strength. As it stands, the south east has the least voting strength. This is a weakness the region is supposed to look into and work on. Obviously there is an OPPORTUNITY to get the presidency next year, how far has the south east aligned with other regions to get the presidency? One thing I know for sure is that power is never given. It is taken. Have the south east leaders tried to networked with leaders in South west, and North to get the presidency? Have they gone on foreign trips to meet World leaders the way northerners did in 2015 and south west did in 1999? What have they done to increase the voting strength of the region?

To many people in south east, alignment means licking hausa fulani, yoruba and every other tribes ass. But alignment means reaching out, building bridges and political networks. As it stands, as much as I want an igbo president, south west are the favorites to get it. And if igbos should eventually get it, that Buhari and Tinubu we love to hate is the only one who could make it possible especially in APC(story for another day)
Good points you have raised.

I’ve also noted it before that our elders are not doing enough except they are moving without the press sha.

I’ve not heard they met with OBJ.

I’ve not heard they met with IBB.

I’ve not heard they met Abdulsalami.

I’ve not heard they met Sardauna of Sokoto.

I’ve not heard they met the Alaafin of Oyo.

I’ve not heard they met with the Ooni of Ife.

These are people they should table the Igbo matter. Conscientize with them to speak to their people to allow the Igbos take their turn.

It’s not by making threats and throwing tantrums.

Emmanuel Udom is one of the Governors that can beat their chest and bid for the presidency relying on their achievements as governors to speak for them.

But it is Igbo’s turn in 2023 so he should calm down and take ministerial appointment in the incoming PDP government.

Meanwhile the person that designed the roundabout below should be flogged at the market square.

How would the person entering the second road by the left navigate his way into the road if he is coming from that express?

Politics › Re: Two Years After, It’s Dancing Time In Diri’s Bayelsa by Penguin2: 9:04am On Feb 22, 2022
Bayelsa with its 9 Local Governments collects one of the highest allocations from the Federation Account.

What they have been doing with that money since 1999 is Penguin don’t know.

Every Bayelsan is supposed to be rich or at least self sufficient.

But here they are celebrating construction of 4.5km of road; calling it a miracle.

I wonder what they will then call a miracle.

If the only thing we get from it is Tinubu not becoming president of Nigeria, then we shall have gained everything.

Tinubu thinks he is strategic and selfish and influential.

We will tell him that two can play the game.

Validated:
We are already stuying all the Electoral laws that would clip SDP or any political party from fielding a presidential candidate who has not been that party's member for over 365 days to election day from being elected in the governorship or presidential polls. After March 15, nobody who has no membership of a party can just jump over. Just wait, we are ahead of them. 2023 is for SE and Nigeria will make sure that any defisnt is frustrated.
Masterstroke

Tinubu is in line to go the way of Awolowo and Abiola before him, despite their servitude to the north, they come out with nothing.

Shebi I talk am…

I said it in the previous post that the ground plan of the Tinubu and Ganduje camp is to defect to SDP.

Then make Tinubu the flag bearer and Kwankwaso the running mate.

So don’t be surprised when you see a Tinubu/Kwankwaso candidacy under the SDP.

But if PDP is wise, it’s a simple thing…

Repeat the the Atiku/Obi ticket of 2019 and watch the party coast to landslide victory.

PDP should ignore Wike’s noise.

Tinubu and his urchins can now move over to SDP grin

Already they are wooing Kwankwaso to be vice to Tinubu in SDP. They are really trusting on Muslim/Muslim ticket.

APC has taken Orji Uzor Kalu’s advise to hold congress and convention on the same day.

Anything that will make Tinubu urinate more in his agbada is all I’m about.

I am most interested in his real name and his source of wealth.

Let him post his First School Leaving Certificate let’s see the name on it.

Again, I want him to go to court and swear an affidavit that he has no interest in Alpha Beta, remote or obvious, and that if any link is established between him and the company he should be disqualified from contesting for public office for life.

If he can’t do these things, then he is a urinating, cunning, thieving old drug lord who should be publicly executed.

Dave Umahi will do a better job than Ogbonnaya Onu!

My support:
South East PDP: Peter Obi
South East APC: Dave Umahi

South South PDP: Donald Duke
South South APC: Chibuike Amaechi or Godswill Akpabio

South West PDP: (No candidate)
South West APC: Prof. Yemi Osinbajo

North Central, North East and North West should rest. Power should return to the South so the region can clean up the mess this government has created.
Umahi is good.

But when some calculations are made, things might favour Onu more; supposing APC were to look towards the Southeast for its candidate.

I like the man Onu is, so powerful but yet so unassuming.

You would marvel at the influence he wields within APC.
Politics › Re: NAPTIP Secures Release Of 15 Nigerian Girls Trafficked To Mali by Penguin2: 9:37am On Feb 21, 2022
Let’s not forget that some of these girls sign up for these things themselves.

Only that most time when they get there, it’s not what they expected that they will be seeing and they will start crying for help.

Just like those who travel to Arab countries…

While in Nigeria, these girls hear all gory stories of the Arab men sexual preferences, of how they derive sexual satisfaction by shitting on girls and telling the girl to rub the shit all over her body.

Others who do not shit on girls, love BDSM/bondage sex.

But Nigerian girls are leaving Nigeria in droves on a daily basis to all these Arab countries because they heard they pay well. It is only when things go south for some of them that you start hearing how she was “trafficked”.

This is not me supporting human trafficking, but those stupid girls need to be called out too.

There’s Izzi ethnic group
Ezza ethnic group
Ikwo ethnic group
Ngbo ethnic group
Ezillo ethnic group

In fact, every village in Ebonyi is an ethnic group distinct from Igbo.

Ofcourse, the dictator Jihadist in Aso Rock is just planning and scheming on how he will handover to another Fulani in 2023, and he knows a free and fair election will prevent that, so he does not want to sign the Bill.

Slowly the north are accepting reality.

Tambuwal has already prepared his mind to accept the situation where Southeasterners would be candidates of the two major political parties just like it was done for the Southwest in 1999.

The discussion is on, political stakeholders are falling in line.

Politics › Re: Yoruba Ancestors Will Make You President, Alaafin Assures Tinubu by Penguin2: 6:46pm On Feb 20, 2022
Which ancestors?

Is it Awolowo that failed to become president during his lifetime that would make Tinubu president?

Or is it Abiola who also failed woefully that would make Tinubu president from the land of the dead?

How can they give what they do not have?

It is actually pathetic that history will repeat itself with Tinubu. That despite his servitude to the north, he would end up pissing on himself and relegated to political dustbin.

Already, Tinubu is already demonstrating too much influence within the APC that would only make his antagonists get fiercer and crush him totally.

Or does he think all these display of street credibility would make Buni, Malami, Bagudu and Badaru cave in?
