PoliticsRe: Anger As Grok Rejects Yoruba, Says It Prefers Igbo Title by Penguin2:
Grok is bursting every lies and propaganda they’ve propagated for so long.

While on the other hand, reinforcing the truths that Igbos have been trying to tell every objective mind who has ever cared to listen.

Grok has said Port Harcourt is Igbo city.

Grok said there are Igbos in all states of the South South.

Grok said Lagos belongs to the Aworis.

All these things are truths that some Yorubas have been trying to suppress for so long.

Now, they’re crying that Grok is anti-Yoruba.

And we have happily renamed the streaky AI to GrokChukwu 🤓

please try to read an understand. i am responsible for what i post, I am not responsible for your inability to understand.

its very simple. he was the Accountant general under Wike. I repeat accountant general. No looting happens without the accountant general and the commissioner for finance...remember when Fashola said "I dont sign cheques"? Whatever deals they did they did together so he is no saint. People are only speculating (perhaps correctly) but why cant he come out and say so himself? Why is Wike himself so sure of himself? what does Wike have over him that even aty the threat of impeachment Fubara cant talk? because he knows whatever they did they did together. So all this narrative about treasury doesnt hold water! Also it means he knew beforehand what kind of person he is dealing with and agreed to whatever deal they had.

its not about right or wrong if you are not comfortable with tha raagement, either dont agree to it or resign and if you decide to fight make sure the odds are in your favour.

They are both thieves. this is about control of the state...dont start a war you cant win or are not equipped to win. simple!

if you want to govern according to your way, then win an election on your own merit. otherwise you dance to the tune of your Godfather. I am not saying it is right but that's the reality of politics in Nigeria and in fact everywhere. In the Uk the labour party dance to the tune of the trade unions, in the USa the democratic party dance to the tune of the labour unions. In America both parties dance to the businesses that donated to their campaigns...... he who puts you in power tells you what to do in power. The only difference is that in Nigeria one man can singlehandedly put you in power.

al this pontificating and sanctimony...we are talking about 2 crooks...none of them is a saint this is not about the people of Rivers. Even the so called elders of rivers are most disappointingly taking sides based on who is lining their pockets. This is not about good governance nor is it about the people, this is about the aligning and disaligning of different political factions for capture of state resources and foolish is the man who thinks otherwise.
Do you know the man called Major Al Mustapha?

Yes, the young army officer that was arrested for assassinating Kudirat Abiola.

Do you know why the Supreme Court freed him?

Because he was merely taking orders.

Al Mustapha’s lawyers argued that he didn’t decide to shoot Kudirat Abiola on his own accord but merely followed the orders given to him by his superior, Gen. Sani Abacha.

What I’m trying to make you understand is that accusing Fubara of complicity in whatever Wike did in government is a weak argument because Fubara was merely following instructions.

He was a mere civil servant who is threatened to take orders and instructions from superiors.

Or do you have anywhere in the civil service rules that says any Accountant-General in Nigeria has the powers to refuse to disburse funds duly approved or requested by the State Executive Council or the Governor?

Now after using her, they are coming for her husband’s jurglars.

Odili can fuccking rot in EFCC dungeon for all I care. Not like I’m benefiting anything from them.

you are the kind of people that edged Fubara on. you are the ones that said the agreement they signed in Asorock was a bad deal. Now the supreme court decision is a worse outcome. Tinubu said withdraw all court cases. if they had withdrawn , we would not have this situation.

Respect the person/party/structure that put you there. if you got to power of your own accord, you can do as you like, no problem but if na another man put you there, you have no choice but to toe the line. technocrats always get carried away when they get into office. Same thing happened to Ambode and Osinbajo, same messiah complex is worrying ElRufai. you are not a true politician, you have no structure and you get into power and think you can do anyhow? it does not work like that.
So, according to you, anybody who was helped to power should remain a perpetual slave even if the godfather is asking him to empty the treasury for him?

They want to divide the Southern votes.
Whatever they are doing has the backing of the Northern elite, so the only way they can do that is push a Southern narrative.... Who is that Southerner that can stand toe to toe with Tinubu? Obi.
Which then means that they are likely going to consider Obi as the candidate of the coalition.

Abeg, stop asking questions like this. Someone like El-Rufai shouldn't have his names to be mentioned again in Nigerian politics, not to talk of whether he can be trusted or not. Seems his charms and jazz is already getting hold of someone like you. You people are just too easy to deceive and manipulate (no wonder oyinbo colonialists got us easily). And he hasn't even started dangling money yet and you can't discern him.

Rufai is a wicked breed of entity, and I hope you know he 's more evil than Buhari, especially for the fact that he is well read and intelligent (more brain energy to carry out evil deeds) angry

Someone like him should be thrown into oblivion especially this time that he has little power and political influence. he should be nailed away forever.
I’m surprised you don’t see that we share same view about the vile little man.

Nothing in my write up suggests that I’m already sold out to his moves.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Can Elrufai Be Trusted? by Penguin2(op): 10:00pm On Mar 11, 2025
fergie001:
El-Rufai is not running for VP seat or Presidential seat. He knows many loathe him in the South or Christian-dominated Northern areas.

Again, he wants to be the face.... Obi isn't in the picture, that's the truth.
He can't even be part of the coalition, his supporters need him to contest for President and nothing else, with the egos of people in that coalition, it's Atiku or nothing.

El-Rufai knows Tinubu is not a yesterday politician, his priority is to teach his old friend a lesson. At best, he is preparing for 2031.
I’d have argued with you but I know you have information.

When you told me Val was going to APC I doubted it only to see it happen.

But what I can say is that any coalition they are planning to build without Obi as the fulcrum, it’s as good as the north accepting Tinubu’s 8 years.

And by the way, why has Bashir been saying good things about Obi in recent days and even calling himself Obidient? Cruise?
PoliticsRe: 2027: Can Elrufai Be Trusted? by Penguin2(op): 5:28pm On Mar 11, 2025
fergie001:
I think he is more after Uba Sani than Tinubu.
I think not.

Man is seriously trying to rally opposition figures together with support of Atiku and co.

Taking Uba Sani out will definitely be part of the plot but he definitely has his at Vice Presidential slot at least.

And it is my thinking that if the north is to give Peter Obi a running mate, for instance, Elrufai will be one of their first choices if not the only choice.

But asides the fact I hate Elrufai regaining influence and going close to Aso Rock and presidential powers, the question is, “is he truly sincere in these moves or playing the script of Tinubu and APC?”

The coalition has to agree from the get go who will be the presidential candidate and vice else Obi shouldn't go near it. Such agreement needs to be signed by all parties so that any primaries will be just for formalities

But in all anything that will take out that urine dispensating drug frog in Aso Rock even if it takes to collaborate with satan I’m in support of it
I disagree with this.

We should be careful making the mistake that we made in 2015 by voting Buhari because we wanted “anything but Jonathan”.

Elrufai is a character who should never go close to presidential powers.
Politics2027: Can Elrufai Be Trusted? by Penguin2(op):
Lately, Mallam Nasir Elrufai has been involved in a lot of media shenanigans which culminated in his defection to SDP from APC within the weekend.

These moves are obviously geared towards the 2027 general elections with Elrufai positioning to play a major role in the 2027 elections.

But I don’t trust him. Yes, I don’t trust Elrufai.

I might be wrong but something inside me tells me Elrufai is still working for Tinubu.

Yes, the man Tinubu is too politically shrewd to have just drop a character like Elrufai from his ministerial list just like that knowing the level of influence Elrufai welds within the northern powerbrokers.

What if Tinubu and Elrufai decided to play a game. And the game is simple - Elrufai gets dropped from the ministerial list. He plays victim and gets sympathy from northern populace.

Second part of the script is that they start to ‘persecute’ him which increases his victim script and makes him even more popular in the north.

Then he starts leading a supposed opposition coalition to ‘dislodge’ Tinubu.

Now, unsuspecting opposition members joins this supposed coalition only to play into hands of Elrufai and Tinubu.

Take Peter Obi for instance.

I’m sure they are already luring him to SDP that he would be the candidate of the united opposition but can he trust that? If Obi is not careful, he might take the bait and join the SDP only to not be given the ticket and then he would no longer be in the ticket to challenge Tinubu in 2027.

I’m not saying Obi should not join coalition forces but he should be careful of characters like Elrufai. Man is too evil that even if he’s not playing games, he should be left to remain irrelevant for life in the scheme of things in Nigeria.

This is why I’m not moved by Bashir Elrufai’s recent romance of Obidients.

A lot of things smell fishy to me.

But maybe I’m just thinking too much.

MiddleDimension:
The first question you need to ask yourself is: what is the GDP of the country she is intending to travel to? What is their GDP per capita? compare that to Nigeria's figures and see if there will be any opportunity for your cousin.

As far as I know, Egypt is not doing considerably better than Nigeria. Also bear in mind that the country, like many countries in Africa and the rest of the world, is a highly unequal society. This means even the GDP per capita will not show you how well-off the average citizen is. There is almost no skill your cousin has, that at least 100,000 Egyptians do not have. And then comes the language barrier.

The issue of being looked down upon due to who she is because of her race, is one I will advice you not to ignore. Yes, it is real, and it is in such a level, she truly feel bad to face.

The issue with racism there,...they do not have an idea that they are truly hurting you. Its the sense of it is not there veruly much. For example, they can call you a slave to your face! Ayan Hirsi Ali faced the same thing in Saudi Arabia.

Of course, not everyone does this, it would be ridiculous to think everyone in those countries is that mean. But like I said, the anti-black attitude is highest in thr Arab world than it is anywhere else in the world.

The reason the west has made so much progreas in race relations better than enywhere else is because of the constitution and the civil rights movement that took place in those lands. Elsewhere, it has never really been an issue so thise societies have not changed very much. This is why they can call you the arabic word for slave without any hint that they are hurting you in anyway.

When it comes to where black people feel safest to live and work, it is here in sub-saharan Africa followed by the collective west. Anywhere else, just know you will be at the bottom of the social pyramid.
Thank you for taking your time to put these things down.

It’s appreciated.

1954 or 1958, that doesn’t change the fact that Azikiwe’s NCNC won majority seats in Western Region but Awolowo used Ronu to get members of NCNC to defect to his party.

These names that you call your parents fit them very well.

Since independence till date we have been whipping you mercilessly in all elections, now tell me who is bitter, the always Winners or the habitual Losers?
You have been whipping the East mercilessly in all elections since independence?

In 1958, Azikiwe’s party, NCNC, won majority seats in the West and Azikiwe was going to be the Premier of Western region until Awolowo introduced Ronu a night before the inauguration of the House and got Yoruba members who won elections in NCNC to defect to AG (Action Group) and give him the majority to win the Premiership.

But later at independence, and even when Nigeria became a republic in 1963, Azikiwe’s NCNC and Ahmadu Bello’s NPC came together to form the government with NPC producing the Prime Minister in Tafawa Balewa and NCNC producing the president in Azikiwe.

Again, at the return of democracy in 1979, the North and the East came together again to form government with Shehu Shagari as president and Alex Ekwueme as Vice President.

In 1999, Yorubas voted Olu Falae but the north and the East came together to vote Obasanjo into power.

The first time your region ever won against the East, since independence, was in 2015 when Tinubu supported a buffoon called Buhari to power because of his popularity.

So, which elections did you win against the east since independence to justify your claim of whipping our asses since independence?

Or are you just another sorry victim of withdrawal of History from the Nigerian school curriculum?
