Bayo 3 days ago. Ayo today. There will likely be another Segun tomorrow. Government of the Yoruba by the Yoruba and for the Yoruba. To still defend this as a Tinubu supporter has to be the height of shamelessness and stupidity. Can’t Tinubu just pretend to be cosmopolitan for once? |
fergie001:Hmmm! You know I’ve learnt not to argue with you because you always speak from a place of information. And you are right about Southern Kaduna, I’ve seen them drifting, and justifiably so; Tinubu has been nice to them. But your calculations are informed by what you know to have been? Just like people that prepared for 2023 prepared for it having what they have known in mind but Peter Obi came and disrupted whatever has been. Like you and I know, but for Obi, Atiku would have won the last election and that was what gave him the confidence to even dare pick Okowa instead of a Southeasterner. My point is that I understand your point about penetrating Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, and co, but what if Obi picks a popular northerner as running mate this time and not a running mate who would lose his polling unit? Nobody would have believed an Ijaw man, a minority tribe, would ever become president against a Buhari but it happened. In essence, I get all your points but never say never. |
seanfer:Who would they rather support? Atiku? When it’s still the turn of the South? Or who? |
Ilekokonit:Funny proverb🤣🤣🤣 |
ElevationD:If they like let them join hands, if they don’t like, let them not. How many people can they influence? Labour Party is Labour Party because of Peter Obi. Any other person is very dispensable. |
fergie001:Let me understand something… Are you saying that even if the opposition coalition chooses him as the candidate of the coalition and rallies the entire north to vote for him, plus the assured votes from Southeast and Southsouth, he will still not win? Or you are saying he would never be the candidate of the opposition coalition? If yes, why? And if we should stop supporting and hoping Obi becomes President, what do you suggest we do in the alternative? |
The Supreme Court Judgment of today has put to rest the shenanigans of Julius Abure and those who urged him on while he thought he could dare Peter Obi in Labour Party. With the judgment, Nenadi Usman is now the official chairperson of Labour Party and thereby bringing the leadership of Labour Party onto the laps of Peter Obi and other stakeholders like Gov Otti, Senators and House of Rep Members. With this, Obi can now confidently go to all negotiating table and all meetings of alignment with the platform of the Labour Party as his bargaining chip. Nobody will taunt him of not having control of the party again. I saw the statement from Obiora Ifoh saying Abure remains National Chairman but that’s merely the last kick of a dying horse. Enemies of Peter Obi should hide their faces in shame. Enemies of Obidients should hide their faces in shame. Enemies of New Nigeria should hide their faces in shame. Congratulations to all lovers of fairness and justice and order. A new Nigeria is POssible. Peter Obi is coming! |
Take it from me that in 2027, Tinubu will run with a Northern Christian. Keep an on Yakubu Dogara or Pastor Idris Elbaba. The sakamanje that he did Northern Muslims in 2023 is over. |
ObosiLandlord:You have proof of me saying Lagos is smelling? Or because some Olatunjis have been captured with human skull 💀 in Ogun and Ekiti, I should therefore assume that all Yorubas are skull miners? |
Sharpsharp00123:Oh no sir! I didn’t say I have the money to buy the house right now sir. I’m still a hustler. Still struggling to feed even. But like they say, dreaming is free, so, that’s why I’m daring to dream; God helping me. So, we don’t live fake life here. Ciao! |
Natasha na the born for Akpabio neck now. E no fit swallow am, e no fit vomit am. E hook am for neck like bow tie 🤓 |
fergie001:I couldn’t be happier. Obi is now fully in control of Labour Party. |
Accepting that appointment was the greatest mistake of Hakeem Baba-Ahmed. Everything was wrong with it from the start. Prior to the 2023 presidential election, every of his rhetorics tended to either support Atiku or Obi. He viciously campaigned against APC for having damaged the country. Again, his brother, Datti, was the running mate to Peter Obi. If they had won, he, Hakeem, would have had a greater political patronage. If he had any iota of principle, like I thought he did, he shouldn’t have accepted that appointment in the first place. Now, Tinubu and APC have tainted him and whatever he ever stood for. How would he talk in public again now? Shame! |
Tor Like I’ve said before, make dem kukuma build the coastal road make we rest. I want to be able to drive from VI to Sangotedo without having anything to do with Lekki-Epe Expressway. The excruciating traffic we face on the Lekki-Epe Expressway is because there is no alternative to the road. So, the project is dear to my heart. I’m looking at buying my house around the Ibeju Lekki axis. I want to be able to get home without hassles. |
The fools should let the woman be joor. Shameless idiots |
LagosOrigin:I’m sure Wike expected even worse from Fubara. Not only did he expect him to be kneeling for him, he equally expected him to be to washing his cars and serving tea when he has visitors like Sanwolu used to do for Tinubu. |
Look at an executive governor of a state. Now, does he look like he can say no to them if they give him instructions (good or bad)?
|
Tor The only reason you are posting this is to show that ‘Nigeria is not even in the Top 10 of IMF debtors therefore Tinubu is free to keep borrowing.’ Any other reason? |
gabbytabby:Did anything in my comment suggest that I’m supporting the criminal kidnappers? The only thing I am against is the sensationalism that the OP is trying to bring to the report to make it look like Igbos are forming banditry gang in Lagos. |
Nowadays, that’s what one politician swallows at once and still be looking for another. |
Op posted the news as though there was a gang of bandits in Lagos led by Igbos but these are kidnappers and not some gang of bandits. And he will not mention that all their victims are Igbos. You are posting the news as if Igbos are out to attack Yorubas in Lagos. You people should give up on this stupid propaganda. |
morgstreme:You rained insults without disputing a single fact I submitted. Is that how intellectuals behave in your domain? Descend into ad hominem rather than face the facts? |
Only a braindead fool will arrest Sen Natasha right now. With the momentum she’s currently carrying, arresting her will just balloon her and ignite a fire that will be difficult to quench. Remember the global media attention she has garnered in the past week. But I won’t be surprised if Gov Olodo and the fools in APC go ahead and arrest her |
Sadiq Umar seems to be more talented in controversy than in football. If you look at this Google map below, anybody traveling from Port Harcourt to Kano should ordinarily not have any business with Edo State at all not to talk of Uromi of all places. A trip from Port Harcourt to Kano should ordinarily take the traveler through Port Harcourt-Enugu Expressway and pass through Enugu City to Nsukka and then Benue and connect to the Markurdi-Akwanga Expressway and then the Abuja-Lokoja Expressway. Once in Abuja, the traveler begins to head up north to whichever part of the north he’s going. So, wetin ‘Hausa hunters’ go find for Uromi?
|
As far as the person is not Agbado, we game. But if it’s a Ronu, we don’t want. And make sure it’s not a Tinubu agent trying to buy Nairaland for their 2027 agenda. |
The audacity! Well, shame on the judiciary. They so sold themselves to Wike that the drinkard now wants to dictate to them who to punish and who to reward. These vagabonds want to corrupt everything and then shut those who dare to question them up. They don’t want criticism. Nigerians should become O yes members. Because the judiciary are gods that cannot be questioned? And to think that there are fools who will support Wike. |
aswani:I’ve seen your goons say a lot of trash up here. But I just wanna tell you that in whatever alignment, Obi will not play second fiddle. |
Don’t mind the swines! Because of how morally bankrupt they are, they think it’s everybody that can be bought like Reno Omokri, FFK, Daniel Bwala, Doyin Okupe and co. But news flash, some of us are people of character that can never be bought. We are ruled by our conviction and not material things. That’s why that assertion that everybody has a price is very very fallacious. Not all of us can be bought like the Nairaland zombies that litter this platform defending rubbish. |
Northerners were killed in Uromi in Edo State. Uromi is a relatively interior part of Edo State with little population of non-indigenes living there. But Igbo haters opened handles and started spinning narratives and propaganda that Igbo dwellers in Uromi were the ones that killed northerners in Kano. Now, some low-brained people are planning to attack Igbos in the north. You see how dangerous these haters are? You see to what extent they can go to harm us? But I know all this is because they are scared of the oncoming marriage of north and East to oust Tinubu in 2027. But news flash, no amount of propaganda will stop that. Ndi ala! |
helinues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPnF1b7BjFo Watch NTA’s clip of Tinubu’s threatening to sack Wike if APC does not win elections in FCT from a previous thread on front page. Can you explain why NTA did not capture Wike’s reaction to that threat? |
According to singer Idris Abdulkareem, supporters of Wike should continue to pray for him as it seems the presidency shared 2023 pictures of Wike’s Sallah homage to Tinubu in Aso Rock as captured by a date on one of the placards at the event.
