No politician is hated by the North though a conservative society. It's the elites who seek to use regional and religious sentiments as a campaign strategy. Obi was well campaigned for over here even without bags of money flying up and down. The Muslim community played a great role in his six million votes. They supported him with funds, mobilization, contacts and planning so his tour of the North in recent times is a thank you visit. If the North is convinced about him they will wholesomely go for him.
