Hello house, I am rookie in this thread and I humbly seek your selfless assistance regarding my BSC pursue to Canada. I have a degree in Agric. Economics graduated 2012, I presently work in the UAE for 2years now. I will like the gurus to assist with below questions. 1. Lists of cheap schools that offer admissions for international students presently? You can use Google.com to get what you need on that. When you check through google, you can compare different schools tuition fees and choose the one that agree with your pocket. 2. I intend to do software programming for the MSC, do I stand a good chance for admission since my first degree is totallyIs your two years work experience on software programming? Have you carried out major projects in this field? Do you have any knowledge (short course (s) ) in software programing? If you answer NO to ANY or ALL of these questions, my brother forget it! Cos you won't even get admission in that field let alone getting TRV with that. different or I should just go for a course related to my first degree to avoid any reason for rejection? That's the best thing for you to do. 3. Can tuition fee be deferred till one get to Canada, how feasible is the TRV if one did not pay from Nigeria. You will have to make a part payment which will be stated in your admission letter to secure a place in the program before you arrive in Canada. Paying tuition fees before applying for TRV does not automatically decide your TRV fate, although it proves a point to the V.O in regard to financial issue. 4. Is it advisable to submit visa application from UAE, online or rather go to Nigeria for best result. Can't tell you much about this. But I think it should be possible considering the number of years you've spent there. Note- graduated in 2012, worked for two years, what have you been doing for the remaining 2+ years? Be ready to explain that to the V.O or else, hmmmmmm ![]() |
You don't need a study permit, what you need is a visitor's visa. Mind you, if you plan to extend your study period beyond that, you will have to come back to Nigeria to apply for study permit. babadudu1: |
I am a 31yrs old married woman with two kids, i studied law in unilag and graduated in 2007, I was called to bar in 2009, i served and practised as a lawyer from 2009-2013. I have always been a lover of the arts in every form (infact my choice of study in university would have been creative arts but i guess we know how the story goes) While in school i gravitated towards the arts, i had a short training as a makeup artist and have never looked back. In 2011 i traveled tp the US and took a short diploma course in beauty, high fashion and character makeup at Cinema Makeup School Hollywood LA. I came back and joggled practise as a lawyer week days and makeup artistry during the weekends. After building a good client base,in 2013 i made the decision to follow my makeup passion full time, i registered my business and opened up a studio and ive never looked back.I believe the above quote sound quite convincing if it can form part of your S.O.P. as that will take care of the "purpose of visit". My husband will be sponsoring me and his SOA is sufficient enough to cover my tuition, living expense and also cater for himself and my kids in Nigeria as they dont intend to come with me.Also, according to your statement (bolded) you've justified (in-sufficient fund). Please note that your husband will have to provide a very solid statement of account, not because of your study duration (2years, tuition, living, accomodation, miscellaneous. ..) and also considering the dependants (two kids and himself ). I am still at the stage of gathering information that will help my Study Visa Application. So i will like to know if i have a good chance for an approval considering the fact that i studied and practised law for some time but also not forgetting that i acquired proper training for makeup artistry at an international institution and presently running my business in the same field. And lastly, with your husband and two kids with your registered bussiness, i believe you've justified the family ties in country of residence. Travel history----- your initial course in the U.S.A has taken care of travel history and the passion you have for make-up and whatever to make you gi for such course in the united state has justify why you want to change your study plan from your undergraduate course of study. Any other input from other gurus will be fine. |
Val...will share with you the site to practise for ielts. Am also preparing to write but I will be writing the general test. michV: |
Hello house ,please help me with this, I am above 30 married with 2 kids and want to apply for a diploma course in a canadian college. i have an ond cert in financial studies. and a professional certificate in customer care and interactions, but do not plan to use. tbese certs for application..My Waec which i want to use to apply was gotten about 17years ago And finally,i have been working as a Customer care agentt for 5years now(though i v done other jobs before then).my questions are 1.With this profile considering age, will it be advisable to go for a diploma course or undergaraduate courseSo many factors will likely work against you. You may be lucky to get admission, but visa will be extremely difficult (not ruling out GOD's possibility). To start with, undergraduate will be a red flag considering your age, work experience and previous academic background. What will be your reason(s) to the V.O of just thinking of an undergraduate course after married with two kids? How do you intend to survive including your dependants when you're self-sponsor (I assume, since you're a family man unless you have a co-sponsor)? 2.is it wise to apply to a community college,,i have Nscc and. Memorial uni in mind. To give a candid advice, I will suggest you look up another country that is not as strict as Canada when it comes to student visa. Thanks. |
osento:you may have to get your caip file to know the real reason stated to the bolded. |
sheddybaba1:Please don't be in a rush to re-fire. Please the best to do is to get your caip file so you can understand what's causing the refusal. |

Yes he can claim that. But how is he going to tackle the presentation of fake docs submitted by the rep? I just hope he will be favored.
|
Get a bus going to V.I from wherever is convenient either oshodi....tell the conductor you're going to Adeola-Odeku (most times you will be dropped at the junction). Then take Maruwa to Saka Tinubu and just ask anybody around there where the street "19 Bishop Kale Close", is. Or you can as well ask the Maruwa rider. dammyllare: |
This rather too harsh! alot of people do not know about Nairaland and those who do may not even know how to navigate around the platfrom. I am an example, it took me several months before I can find my way here and know how to use the platform, Please speak for yourself alone. Also, I want you to know that there are lots of people here that they're not new to the thread. But after coming and seeing what they have to go through, reading for informations, making Google researches, writing S.O.P, L.O.I, stress of gathering and putting different docs together.....and even some THEY DON'T HAVE ALL THE GENUINE DOCUMENTS TO PROVIDE. But for their desperacy to travel out BY ALL MEANS damning the consequences it may have on the country's reputation and other applicants at large, they will go get t he help of an agent/agency. (One of the affected applicant recently said that he patronized the agent because he needed them to help him with strong financial documents for the procurement of Visa what will you call that? Ignorance of the possible outcome? He /she does not know it's fraudulent?. And after the whole act and their plans uncovered by CIC, then they run back to nairaland to start feigning ignorance of the thread existence or whatever. |
@burrytee, baby I sight you. How far your second app now? |
I think he should add evidence of contracting rep in his emailYes he can add evidence of contracting a rep either receipt of payment or if he has a copy of the agreement form he signed with them. But the issue here is that, He (applicant) already told CIC that he does not use an agent in facilitating it. For him to go back to answer "yes" to the use of an agent or agency now will make him found guilty of this (c.1) if the applicant is represented in connection with the application, include the name, postal address and telephone number, and fax number and electronic mail address, if any, of any person or entity — or a person acting on its behalf — representing the applicant Based on your submissions, I have concerns that you have omitted to declare that you used a compensated representative to facilitate the submission of your application. Your application contains evidence that it was facilitated by the same person or entity as many other applications received by this office. Based on our research this is a compensated representative. I therefore have concerns that you misrepresented this information either through omission or through failing to indicate that the representative was compensated |
Was that the same document you used in getting admission? If yes, then go ahead.
Hello, I am applying for a student visa but do not have all my transcripts. But I have my transcripts for a two year period of time. Are you a Polytechnic graduate? If yes, I will advise you go get both transcripts. Nd also, I did not write waec but igcse.Include your certificate of result (photocopy). What do I do for my Canadian student visa plz reply fast (paper route) (embassy requirement). |
You want to indicate that you used a representative? If that is it, I think it's too late now to do that. Unless if CIC send you another message. But if you're still finding a way to respond to CIC E-mail that was sent to you earlier on misrepresentation issues and the presentation of fake document, I will suggest you just tell them the truth about everything. Who knows, you might be lucky to escape the ban. Because trying to fill the 'use of a representative form' now will be outrightly irrelevant. Thanks. sundaydammy: |
You'd better stay clear of Canada migration dream and U.S. for the next five years. (Don't waste your money) I just hope it will not affect your migration even after the five years ban is complete. I think this should serve as a big WARNING to every other people looking for a way through the back door. sundaydammy: |
Austinpee4:Double congratulations to you Austine. Safe trip. |
I've gotten am answer to what I actually wanted to know about. I've spoken with @Arcayo. Danoluwa: |
michV:I will gladly accept it if and only if they will transfer the money into my personal account. ![]() |
I have concerns that you misrepresented your (or your financial sponsor’s) current employment and the source of funding for your proposed studies in Canada. You did so both in your answers on the application form and through the submission of fraudulent employment and/or financial sponsorship documents.I think the person in question has been given the best advice so far. Since it a multinational company, then he should report to them directly. Unless if they (both parties)have mutual consent to the presentation of doctored documents. But if not, he should present his case before them since it's a paid service. And if the company is found guilty, you (the applicant) can sue them for presentation of doctored documents. ladylco: |
justwise:Exactly!!! |
some individuals are not ignorant of their acts but feel they can outsmart the the process.Exactly my point Val. They knew it's going to be a doctored document, yet they went ahead. And the same people will come here and state derailing the thread feigning ignorance of their action. |
wunmimi:To be candid ma, if the consequences of their actions is melted to them alone, nobody will bother. But the result of their actions affect the applicants (both genuine and fake) generally. Obviously there are two different type of agents. The real agents--- this category of agents will never falsify documents for you, they will apply to the embassy with every documents your provide. they guide you as to every relevant documents to be submitted base on their immigration knowledge (if the applicant is a novice). the likes of Maple, PFL.... they will never give you a fake S.O.A. or some non-traceable evidence of sponsor's documents. With this set of people, you know that you only risk the money you paid them if eventually your visa is not granted (no risk of been banned) and it does not in anyway alter the credibility of the nation and other applicants at large. The fake agents----the likes of GVC and co, they are the people that will go ahead and doctor every necessary documents including S.O.A, letter of affidavit,.... i will say categorically that people that patronize this agents are the ones that are dubious and very lazy which V.O's do refer to as 'not a genuine student' because obviously they have not intention of schooling in Canada. If you don't have the financial capability to school in Canada, there are other migrating options to be considered. skilled migration, federal, trade....and more instead of tarnishing the image of the country and causing impediment on the path of Genuine students. I hate to see when applications are been refused and at the conclusion of the V.O i read statements like '.....NOT SATISFIED THAT PRINCIPAL APPLICANT IS A GENUINE STUDENT' after spending a lot of money in getting admission and processing visa coupled with the overwhelming 17weeks that is capable of raising someone's HBP. The statement 'not a genuine student' is a very embarrassing statement to someone's integrity that only people with integrity will fight and challenge very hard. |
