It won't.
It helps increase your chance of TRV approval using your wife as home tie. Having kid (s) only increases your chances the more but not having does not decreases it @all.

1. You can apply next week.
2. Yes! You can print the statement of your account and go ahead to pay your tuition fees (even if CIC decides to confirm your statement of account, it will reflect that the reduction in your account balance is used for tuition fee payment )
3. Add receipts of landed properties you have as it will;
I. Serve as home ties
ii. It will cancel out the option of the V.O ticking 'applicant financial assets...' column for you.

Good day everyone, I got admission to TRU Canada and would want to start my VISA application this Jan, precisely next week. would like to know if:
Applying second week in Jan is safe in getting my VISA, as I am expected to resume in May.
Secondly I intend printing my statement of account before paying the fees. But this would be done same day. Is it safe to do such.
Thirdly, must I show receipts of landed property?

1. Application fee for lagos and abuja applicants is 20,000 naira while for portHarcourt it is 39,000.

Either of this two options can help you
1 if your undergraduate course of study is HR
2 if you have good years of work experience in that field.
If not, please don't waste your time and money.

From oshodi, take bus going to lekki-ajah, tell the bus conductor that you're stopping at ikate roundabout (third roundabout) when you stop, cross over to the other side of the road and enter through the gate. Vfs office is just about 2 minutes walk from the gate.

Please try and know that there's nothing like over-spiritual approach here. There are lots of better application than her own that has been denied. i am not a fan of the over-spiritualistic approach to simple matters such as visa applications. Your visas were quite easy to approve.

1. You and your sister showed concrete ties to Nigeria - you are still students in school and certainly would be expecting to come back to complete your schooling.
2. Your mom already demonstrated that she has no intention of being an intending immigrant (which means her two minor daughters are likely to be coming back to Nigeria).

Regardless of how angry the VO is, he is compelled by law to treat an application strictly on its merits. He cannot refuse you a visa simply because he had a bad day.[/quote]

You can't use your father's shares as home ties, since (1) The share certificates does not carries your names.
(2) It can't be use as home ties because shares can be sold out at any point, so the V.O will not believe that the shares you or your father has is a strong asset yo bring you back home.
To tackle family ties, you need very convincing prrofs like Wife, kid(s), Registered business in your name, Housing properties, land properties....

@Op, please whenever I try typing on my system (either in my e-mail box, to post to Nairaland, or anywhere), instead of the words to type, my system will be responding to the system shortcut codes. Even when the cursor is inside the text box area, my system will always respond to shortcut codes.

You need not to write GRE, you will get admission into UNB and UOIT with your C.G.P.A. am sure of UNB, just that their admission letter may not come too soon but you will surely get it before may 2017.

You can't convert visitor's visa to study visa in Canada. if the duration of your program does necessarily need you to get a study permit, you can be allow to study (study period not exceeding 6months). Otherwise, you will have to come back and re-apply for your study permit. Unfortunately if you apply to convert your visitor's permit to study permit in Canada you will wait for too long before you will eventually be responded to that you can't convert it in Canada which eventually might extend your stay beyond your expiration stay in Canada. Using a sponsor with such a low closing balance can make it difficult to get TRV.
Some factors can still make it work;
(1) Do you have some funding from the school for your program?
(2) What's the balance on your SOA?
(3) The closing balance of 1.5m, is it after payment of tuition fee (if not funded)?
(4) Also, has the cost of living and flight been deducted to give you the 1.5m balance
If you answer NO to the above questions 1,3,4, I fear to tell you that the account balance is already a red flag to your application.

My sponsor has just about 1.5m in his account but he has mutual fund investments of about 5m that can be accessed in 5 working days and he earns over 11m in salary annually. Pls should I go ahead to use this person as my sponsor?
