Sunnymatey: Prophet Fayose saw the future and warn u guys now u realize the North were only after ur vote and not ur progress. Tinubu have sold u into slavery for a plate of poridge. Who gave a condemned Osu caste lamb the right to meddle in the affairs of a freeborn people ? The slaves are those begging to be freed from Nigeria. Conversely, when the SW decides to leave Nigeria, we will lay claims to our rights and speak with authority and nothing/nobody can stop us. |

Am not sure if he still has his bearings talkless of attending the meeting. BTW, he is already on his way out anyway so his input may not be that important but am sure he was with them in spirit. |

let politics be left on the sidelines think about development of your people instead of chasing Samuel anyanwu up and down an abusing buhari.... develop your staate Thats the truth. Rather than crying wolf, the regions in the south can revert to a partial regional system. Afterall, northern governors do meet for their common good. If they refuse restructiring peacefully, who aays we cannot practise regionalism if only our leaders can set paetisanship aside ? |

GreyLaw: Hey, bringing UNN into this, is a bait I tried so hard to ignore but couldn't. You do understand that the afore-mentioned school has produced a lot of great people, right? The Chimamandas, etc., of our nation graduated from there.
On a different note, good spoken or written English is not an index for measuring people's intelligence; there are many village people who are as wise as daylight.
I graduated from UNN and, trust me, if you hear a lot of us speak, or read our writings, you won't just label us all as dunces.
Debate, argue, insult each other; but when you extend your blanket to insult all the intellectuals who graduated from a reputable institution, you err.
This is my humble submission. I like you and impressed by your submission. UNN is an institution i respect, admire. and proud of. A cousin of mine graduated from there as a medical doctor and am proud to say he is one of the shining lights of that great institution. Actually my post was a bait for the sucker. |

Olu20090: Meeting as if they know what they are doing. Can SW stand on their feet without Niger Delta oil? If you can, agree to separation nah like SE and SS are clamoring for. Always wanting to attache by force. Can't you stand on your own afonjas? All they are known for since 1960 is causing trouble and chaos in this country, voted in an old man into office who has destroyed this country to penury. Even the little dignity we enjoyed under Jonathan despite being poor citizens, he has taken that away from us. What is there to live for in this country? SMH! You must be a product of UNN. When your likes are forced to speak/write in sound english and without recourse to your base pidgin, you are easily found out. You also must display a low reasoning faculty. |

Progressive01: Lovely comment by Umar Alhasan Alkali.
It is what I keep insisting on here but some folks would NEVER listen because their minds have been all but messed up with hatred.
Never use the crime of an individual to judge a tribe or a religion. It is simply unfair.
Too bad the young man chose this path. I hope his loved ones find the strength to bear his loss.
Nigeria needs to up her game and fast- we can't afford to have countries kill our people over offences such as this. I could bet my last breath if he were an American or a Western European, some how, some way, they would have released him to his government to serve whatever sentence they pass on him on his home soil- and that sentence certainly won't be death.
E go beta. When the preponderance of the criminals are skewed in the direction of a tribe then they are right in their judgement. Majority opinions are representative of a people as the case may be. |
