Hello Op, but my own understanding of this story doesn't tell me that the 2nd okada rider did more good to you two than his colleague at all. His gesture was more a display of sympathy for his colleague considering the damage done to his bike. He realised the latter would need much money to probably replace the chain. That was a display of trade solidarity rather than sympathy for the passengers. It had nothing per se to do with passengers. |

cheruv: Yorubas and lies
This revisionism won't still change the fact that Viktor Pancho was a traitor and the worst mistake Ojukwu did was trusting him for command of operation Torch! Your prejudiced and demented mind conveniently overlooked the fact that Victor Banjo was murdered by Ojukwu with Ifeajuna, Agbam and Alile and not alone. Ojukwu killed them because they told him the truth to his face - the biafra hadn't what it would take to win the war- something none of his Ibo yes-men was bold enough to tell him. When he later discovered the truth himself, he decided to abandone his people to their certain deaths and flee in skirt and blouse like a woman. What a monumental failure ! What an extra-ordinary cowardly soldier ! What a shameful let-down and worthless leader. In saner climes, Ojukwu would've been executed for treason by Ibos but they venerate a failure as a hero which says a lot about their mentality. Gosh ! |

WETINUSABI: Yes...everything is propaganda to people like you. Why didn't Coward Ojukwu lead the fight himself. Why did the coward Delegate the mostcritical aspect of the war to a Yoruba.
Were their no courageous igbo soldier who could take on that task in the entire Igboland. That is the true summation. No worthy Ibo officer to saddle with such a task, not even Ojukwu himself because he was afraid of dieing. |

whirlwind7: .
After Banjo's treachery was uncovered, there is no other penalty other than death. He had planned the assassination of Ojukwu, and he almost succeeded. For every logical reason, he had to pay the penalty for that.
As for your saying that the "murder" of Banjo led to the defeat of Biafra, well, just to put it mildly, that is a lot of hogwash. The incident of Banjo's betrayal of course, affected the morale of Biafra's army. But their eventual defeat was due to Britain covertly supplying the Federal forces with arms and ammunition, coupled with the act of genocide by the Nigerian government through the blockading of food and relief supplies meant for the civilian populace who eventually starved to death in their millions. Trash, good only for the dustbin. Hallucinations of a prejudiced brain. |

The war was virtually won by the British for Nigeria.
Arrant nonsence.
quote author=whirlwind7 post=38791719]
The above is just your opinion, bro. Yes, Ojukwu did assign Banjo to handle this critical aspect during the war. He did this out of the long standing friendship both men have enjoyed. I can't say if Ojukwu was right or wrong for entrusting Banjo with this, but note that he (Ojukwu) was the commander in-chief. He has to be available to oversea every phase and battle being fought. The war wasn't fought in a single front. The Federal forces were trying to penetrate from the south through Port Harcourt, and north via Enugu.
Ojukwu being a coward is purely subjective at this point, and it isn't up to me to argue over. I just came with documented evidence to counter your claims.
The war was virtually won by the British for Nigeria.
|

Oh great, so Ibos are terribly desirous of love between them and Hausas ? Why beat about the bush, why cow before them instead of telling them your problems. FYI, the Yoruba do not desire love with any section of the country at the expense of our security and well-being. Since december 2014, our presence in Nigeria has been only experimental with eternal readiness to take any bold step as at when necessary. Finally, your evil wish on Yoruba populace will remain what it is- a vain wish - because, unfortunately for you, you are not God. Needless to say, the Yoruba is ready to take on anybody and if that enemy includes the conquered tribe of 1968, the better. The Yoruba have something to prove. |

He probably take you for Yoruba sicking help or alliance none of which are in Yoruba's agenda. The Yoruba needed no assistance in year 2000 to deal a blow to the fulani herdsmen in Oke Ogun and we certainly don't now. This would've been a forum for sound brainstorming among enlightened southerners on the issue at hand but am afraid, imbecilic elements who have made up their minds to live the rest of their lives on hate and for hatred like the biblical pharisees won't let that happen. ArodewilliamsT: I agree with you, olu falae is demented and senile like his tribesmen. He needs a psychiatriac evaluation like that Fulani general opined on TV. We all know yorubaland has the highest number of mentally ill patients, old senile falae may be one. It must be the Biafrauds, never the fulanis. Thank you in advance for agreeing owith me. The sorry state of Ibo mental impairment is alarming. Most of them don't display sound cognitive reasoning when they speak or write. The few of them that seems to have a semblance of functioning brain tend to turn it upside down before they write. Examples- One Dr. Chidi Odinkalu never saw it fit to critisize Nnamdi Kanu of hate speech and BH of genocide but foamed in the mouth to accuse FFK of hate speech for rightfully refering to the fulani herdsmen as leeches. Pandering to Abuja for filthy lucre ? Not unlikely. His tribe will readily leak an ass for money and power. - One Campbell Nze-Nzekwe or so opened his mouth wide to say the chances of Ibo producing the president in 2019 is bright and thereafter went on to reveal the strategies to adopt to make that happen. Leaders indeed ! - The same leaders of APGA that could display such naivity as to claim Lagos is a colonial settlement, whatever that meant. Here is a typical one claiming Falae is senile and so are his tribesmen. Yet he could not point out a single Ibo man of 70 years and above that have not become a wretched recluse. Prof. Nwabueze declined to serve in the national conference feigning health reasons at his age whilst Yoruba men of his age and above participated. Chinue Achebe became a wretched recluse from his early sixties. Falae is 77 and still works on his farm and travels around. Prof. Wole Soyinka, Oba Sikiru Adetona, etc, are octogenarians still healthy and moving around. |

Well over a century ago your Oyo Empire lost Ilorin city and its environs to the superior Fulani warriors, and now in this information age your Yoruba tribe no longer stand for anything.
In Nigeria of today, Yoruba tribe have mainly survived and flourished by relentless ass-licking of their masters. And right now with the terroristic tendencies of their masters the Yorubas appear too helpless and scared to be on their own. Do you know why? Read on...
To ensure that they are not left alone with their masters in OduaArewanistan republic Yorubas have become too desperate for survival in the phantom 'One Nigeria', and therefore resorted to campaign of calumny and fabrication of lies, falsehood and propaganda to malign the Igbos, with a view to quenching the call for self- determination by IPOB.
It's really a pity that the so-called 'sophisticated' tribe now stand for nothing...

Since after the elections, those that matter in the Ijaw nation have pledged their loyalty to the new government whilst your generations remain downcast and still dressed in the black garment of mourning. You also willingly assumed the role of eternal mourners over Ilorin, etc. I wholeheartedly assist you with prayers that your generations yet unborn inherit the role till eternity. May you never lack enough tears to shed over problems entirely unconnected with you. |

Why don't they use that and reinvest in themselves. Become the nation's great, rather dividing the nation which might lead to the lose of lives. The past still haunts, what will the future then hold. Because those whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad. A dog that is destined to get lost will never hear the whistle of his owner. |
