Celebrities › Re: Tiwa Savage's Marriage Crash: A Lesson To All Men by Pentools(m): 9:52pm On May 27, 2018 |
nashito: It is evident now that the crash of Tiwa's wedding is somehow as a result of infidelity,trust issues and insecurity. From the recent activities of Tiwa Savage, we can somehow deduce that TeeBliz was right regarding the accusations against Tiwa.
However, the lesson we must all learn from the crash as men are numerous, but let me shorten it;
(1) HELPING A WOMAN TO THE TOP OF HER CAREERS:
I have often wondered why some men refused to let their woman rise to the very top, it is very simple here. When a woman rises to the top, they tend to forget the ladder through which they climbed to the very top, this is not same case with men. A man will always remain very loyal to the that person who showed him the way to the top. Same cannot be said of women. Most times. Putting ourselves in someone's shoes helps, let's assume TeeBliz takes all that shits we were made to believe, but the question that comes to mind is, does it mean Tiwa wasn't aware of his habits before they got married? If it was Tiwa's habit, Do we really think TeeBliz will divorce her for the same reason? Women are naturally not loyal to men especially when you stop paying the bills.
(2) With the manner in which Tiwa has carried herself lately. I want to ask all men this simple question; regardless of her career, can you marry such a wife? With all those crazy, ripped off, half naked dresses etc Before you answer that, take a deep breath and think first. While dating, we all love this crazy girl who's always sexy and all that, but this is marriage, Men can you really do that? Lesson learn, don't Marry someone who's career is not suitable to your kinda person.
(3) Finally, As a man. DO NOT sacrifice your own career and future ambitions for any Nigerian lady, they are not worth it, they all have short memories. I know they are few good ones out there. But never you ever sacrifice your life for anyone's career. We should all remember Teebliz for what he did and not what we were told. He picked up Tiwa and put her in the pinnacle of her career, what did he get in return? Nothing.
This is a big lesson for all ambitions men out there. I am not saying you should restrict that woman from being who she wants to be. Just don't sacrifice yours for her. Thank you. Still your boy Nash. Alot of lesson to learn from Jay-z n Beyonce... Dude was so committed to himself, focused on his art while enjoying his life to the fullest hence Queen b was the one running after him, crying fowl about his infidelity. T-bills became so comfortable all of a sudden with the knowledge of "she's loyal n I'm the manager that made her" forgetting comfortability is best friends with fall-off. Who doesn't want to identify with success. Once u have a thing with someone that's famous n a public figure in entertainment sphere never get too comfortable or play cool as per lover boy, rihanna n Chris brown is another case study to learn a thing or two. |

sirlekzy: BY @LEKZYLOADED | Follow Us For More Updates
Super Eagles attacker, Moses Simon has been ruled out of the 2018 world cup after he sustained an injury.
Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is now left with 29 players from which to select his team for the 2018 World Cup, after Moses Simon was ruled out of the tournament as a result of an injury.
Simon, who plays for Belgian Jupiler League side, Gent, will not feature in Monday’s friendly against the Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC, nor the subsequent game against England on June 2.
Rohr confirmed the development to news reports in Port Harcourt. He said;
“IT IS UNFORTUNATE MOSES SIMON WILL NOT BE TRAVELLING WITH THE TEAM ON TUESDAY BECAUSE HE IS DOWN WITH AN INJURY.
“THE NATURE OF HIS INJURY IS SUCH THAT HE WON’T BE RECOVERING QUICKLY ENOUGH TO MAKE THE WORLD CUP,”
Meanwhile, the German coach is set to drop four more players from the squad after the game against DR Congo. The Super Eagles of Nigeria will receive a whopping $24 million as winning bonus if they come top at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick says. He said;
“I DON’T PUT PLAYERS UNDER PRESSURE. PRESSURE CAN BE PUT ON THEM UNCONSCIOUSLY BECAUSE WE ARE CREATING ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR THEM.
“IF FOR EXAMPLE WE DON’T HAVE MONEY TO PREPARE THEM, THEY CAN NOW RELAX BUT NOW, WE HAVE GIVEN THEM EVERYTHING UPFRONT AND THEY SHOULD DELIVER.
“IF TODAY THEY GET TO THE FINAL, THE WORLD CUP MONEY WILL BE SHARED 50-50 BETWEEN THE TEAM AND THE NFF.
“WINNING THE FINAL IS 48 MILLION DOLLARS, IT MEANS THE TEAM WILL GET 24 MILLION DOLLARS AND THE FOOTBALL HOUSE WILL TAKE THE REMAINING 24 MILLION DOLLARS,”
Sore losers all over. About last night UCL final, and to those who are still pained and saying terrible things about Ramos, it was a fair challenge and both players went down on the impact. Such challenge occur numerous times in football matches. They should quit whining like sore losers. If carefully checked, most people complaining ain't even Liverpool fans. Real Madrid saw their chances and took it. Liverpool lost because Real Madrid was the better team. Pure and simple. It was a game of 11 players against 11 players. A single player being replaced is not enough justification. Had Salah remained on the pitch, would he have prevented the errors of Karius? Look back at Euro2016 final. Ronaldo was substituted in the first half due to injury similar to Salah's yesterday. Portugal still went ahead to win the trophy without Ronaldo. That's the make up of a team that knows how to deliver. At that stage of the competition, Real Madrid was the favourite. And they delivered when it mattered most while Liverpool simply imploded. To all those Barca and Messi fans who suddenly turned Liverpool fans and are still in pain, sorry I can't help you Your guess is right cus I'm reporting from nou camp Meanwhile, I just wish you know how distracted n absent minded Liverpool players were at the exit of salah, even so, it played out heavily on karius, dude wasn't in that game abit, was so absent minded. In case you are yet to know,u guys played against 9-men team lastnyt Such a cheap win... |

jonesoibe: I least expected this from falz. Leave the church alone and mind your music career. I'm neither a prophet of doom nor hater of fals but I see his career ending soon out of his own making, trading on the path of freeze might turn out disastrous on him. I laugh when people talk bad of pastors and their wealth forgetting most of this men came into pastorship very very wealthy and most of them have their own businesses successfully n solely running without the proceeds of the church. I bet they can't say that to the Muslims but feel Christianity is tolerable hence you can say anything to them n go free, I just pity them and their ending. |

Timoleon: Truth is this, in single leg match or at least first leg game, you get to see Madrid really prove their credentials.
first leg against PSG, neymar played, Madrid won. first leg against juve dybala played, Madrid won...
As for Bayern and Liverpool, it is on record that Robben and Salah played against Madrid(unfortunately they didn't finish the match) but who says a player has to finish a match? Chamberlain got injured against Roma in the first leg at 0-0 Liverpool went on to win 5-2. Arguably they are better than Roma...no one made noise about Liverpool loosing a key player. in the Europa semi finals Koscielny got injured and would even miss the world cup no one made an issue out of it but then this is football it happens. u keep fighting no matter what. just last month with Barca's unbeaten on the line, they got a red card but kept fighting against Madrid and got a draw. 2008 final Drogba got a red card for motioning a tap towards the face of vidic. Chelsea kept fighting and could have won if not for john Terry slip.
If we allow excuses like these to overshadow hardwork, we will not be able to give credit where it is due and that is unfair.
The only reason that there's so much noise is because people refuse to give Madrid the accolades they have earned. TBT they deserve some accolades and you can't dispute that, never! Mind you if you read my earlier post I said no such as excuse for a defeat, however I still maintain my stance Real Madrid as a team is undeniably good, even so, luck/god of soccer was extensively on their part last champions league. |
Christianity Etc › Is It Right For Non-muslims To Accept Food Used In Breaking The Ramadan Fasting? by Pentools(op): 9:19am On May 27, 2018 |
Warmth greetings to us Nairaland family.. Happy Ramadan fasting to our Muslim brothers. Quickly I want to ask, how right or rather proper for a non-muslim, particularly Christians to accept food/meat gift from our Muslim brothers, especially the ones used in breaking the fast.. My Muslim close associates have been gifting that persuasively and it now looks discriminatory to them, I'm a Christian by the way and they are well informed on that.
However this thread is never for religious warring or insults from anyone/religion against another, it's for better interreligious knowledge and information. |

Timoleon: you only share this sentiment because u hate yo give real Madrid their due credit. in 2016, Madrid beat Athletico through penalties was that not tough enough? in 2017, Madrid beat a juve side that conceded only thrice until the final, was that not challenging enough? in 2018, Madrid beat the league winners in France(PSG) Italy(juve) and Germany(Bayern) to get to the finals yet u expect the fourth best team in England to beat them...if Liverpool had won you wouldn't be sharing this sentiment albeit it would have been a greater feat. Madrid has earned their accolades given them the credit. Lolz, they sure do deserve some accolades since winning is winning in the game of football, no excuses for loss. Only god of soccer knows what transpired in this season's chapms league or lemme say Madrid had god of soccer by their side... Played PSG (No Neymar) Played juve (No Dybala) Played Bayern ( No Robben n No Boateng) Played Liverpool (No Salah n No Chamberlain) |

Hhenryy: Yeah, but I still have to say Ramos killed the game. I'm not a fan of Madrid or Liverpool but I just wanted a thrilling and entertaining finale. But that didn't happen.. We only saw one spectacular goal with two shiity goals.
With salah on the pitch, it would have been more interesting. Immediately he was subbed, the game changed and it became 1 sided.... I can remember the finales of Ac Milan vs Liverpool, Bayern vs dortmond, bayern vs Chelsea, Madrid vs athletico (2014) those were very entertaining and thrilling finale that cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
We have not had anything close in the past three years, it has always been one sided, starting with when barcelona beat juve 3-1 in 2015. I think I share same stance as urs....I'm a non-fan to both teams, but my disappointment lies on that same fact of cheap come up real Madrid has been enjoying all this while....I still insist that Madrid played 11 against horrible 9, mane is not that fantastic though he's good,,, for me the finals was that Madrid vs Bayern 2nd leg. I just pray barca comes for salah next season, the guy is too mild to be the only star player in a team, else he would be dead on arrival. |

Hhenryy: Yeah, i watched the replay several times and I could see he was too carefree with Ramos. He could have showed more resistance by preventing his arm from going in or even pull it out as Ramos didn't lock it... He wanted to draw a clear foul by not putting much resistance not knowing Ramos had a hidden sinister motive....
He can't do same to messi, or other la Liga players who know him too well. He likes bullying players but if you are strong it will be 50/50. He is also a cheat, if you prove too strong, he will look for ways of faking a fall and force you to commit. He wanted to take on Mane too but Mane proved too strong and he eventually made Mane to commit. Mane was just the perfect match for him cus Ramos can be frustrated once he sees u follow him cautiously mastering his tricks, n if u notice Ramos wasn't the person marking salah from the onset but he felt Marcelos won't be that hard on him and salah on the other hand is preventing Marcelo from pushing the ball forward cus he can't risk giving salah space. The game was a symbolic one and shared same rule as battle, which is destroy the commandant/no1 warrior n watch the rest scatter in dismay. |

Luxuryconsult: Mr Gaddafithe2nd... It is football.. They both have football career, it is their job to protect themselves (their career). Ramos conld have been the one injured this night and ruled out of world cup also, anything can happen to anybody/anyone on the pitch. It is your duty to watch out and protect yourself. Probably because Salah doesn't know Ramos that much, if not i'm sure he'd have been more careful with him. So, stop being emotional about it all and stop taking it to heart, it is football, anything can happen... They are both professional and they all know the risks involve. So bikonu let Ramos rest, i take God beg you. You are absolutely right on that one, salah doesn't know Ramos too well, not knowing the guy is wey too aggressive to be played against so care-freely n he lacks that champions league experience. I know if it were to be messi that wouldn't have been the case. |
