IBROHIM:Sir, how many percent of the votes did he get and were pple killed or not? It's like you are saying no innocent Corper died during the crisis and Soldiers were the ones who killed. You cannot hide the truth and the blood of those Corp members are Crying very loud. In a matter of days. |
kennydee05:Pls put it in correct Perspective. Jonathan has gotten more Lagos Enemy that what he can defeat. In a matter of days, we will all see the outcome of this election. In my view, APC candidate won't have 25 percent of votes in the required 24 states and Jonathan will have more votes. All PDP governors in the North now knows the game is about PDP Vs APC and not Jonathan. Vs Anyone. If there is victory for PDP, it is victory for PDP but if otherwise, it is victory for Tinubu and Co |
olaboy001:It is correct that GEJ had 16 percent in Kaduna in 2011 and they still killed. When the simple Majority by GEJ will happen in 2015, these guys will likely kill because they think Kaduna is Nigeria. |
See a secured Man (IBB), he does not have to sneak around like a rat just like OBJ. |
Gbawe:Again, we are on the same path we are running away from. When will we understand the President has a work to do and the Governors too. It is not a Boss/House boy relationship. One of the cardinal points of APC is to ensure every part of the Federating Unit function independently. If we say Change and we are still reffering to GMB as the Boss (IF he wins election) like the governors will be errand boys. All we are saying is that campaigns should be issue based and not mind games like the two major political parties have been doing. I expected PDP to challenge APC for claiming that N5000 willl be paid 25M unemployed youths every yeaar (that is about 1.5 Trillion from a budget of about 4.6 Trillion) And APC to tell Nigerians how they will unlock better potentials from Nigerians rather than promising feeding in Primary school (Osun state tried it and had to abandon at some point) What is everyone bringing to thee table should be the focus now. |
Gbawe:Though I do not buy the Logic, what will Buhari do to Fayose? He will ask PDP Lawmakers in the state to Impeeach him or ask the security Operatives to Harrass him? He has immunity under the law and if there must be change, it should not be to the old era of Obj. Amaechi today talks about harrassment and you wonder if the President has stopped his allocation or withdrew his security details or has he been stopped from spending Rivers state funds. My issue is the Nigeria readers who will take the message like that and simply drop the idea to vote GMB. Those pple don't have Twitter account, No Social Media platform but with PVC. Recall APC posters in Lagos doing many comparison with GEJ's pictures and Buhari? This was how it all started and now it is been expanded. |
Flye:If we say PDP is not taking us serious, how do you explain GMB's refusal to apply for a copy of his WASC from Military board to shame critics. If he gets Presidency, Nigerians go shout tire, he won't move cos he does not give a damn. |
nduchucks:US will send Marines to vote for GMB this time around. |
Comsol:So, the airport even get a shuttle bus? I thought GMB and Co has been saying that nothing works in Nigeria like we are in such a sorry state that common Airport shuttles don't work anymore. As they use all those infrastructures, Posterity will keep judging them |
omenka:Are you reffering to the same GEJ that went into the Creeks to broker a peace deal with Niger Delta Militants? Obj could not do it for 8 years oh. What do you take him for? |
In other news, Nigeria took delivery of Hardwares and in less than 48 hours, the President was given clearance to visit Borno state. The US kept wasting our time all the while without keeping to their promises. When we even try to get stuff ffrom Israel, they blocked it. In the UK, they stood our way and in South Africa, they busted our request through the backdoors. With Russia as a backing, we got the Weapons in 3 months and will be made to use within few weeks. Let's Support our Army and the Government of Nigeria. |
GMBb said yesterday during the Mini conference to sign a peace pact that 'It is almost impossible to take power from ruling party in Nigeria LEGITIMATELY' This means there are Illegimatimate means in the pipeline. Nigerians, shine your eyes. GMB is used to Coup plotting and he believes it is right. |
Jidefido:If the number of deaths was as a result of 'burnt area', then the claim is that BH burned pple with their homes. In Baga, many pple flee and are they killed too? Every Conspiracy against this country will fail in few weeks. Be it from the Army, Politician, International community or some bitter Nigerians who cannot accept GEJ as president but daily working against this administration by Killing Nigerians. |
Jarus:Again, GMB is currently exhibiting this trait 'He didn't budge' when we are asking for a copy of his certificate. He is known for calling the bluff of the electorate, the international community and any different view. Military board is not in heaven, GMB was in Abuja today and could have picked a copy of his certificate since it exists but he won't because he does not give a Damn! Nigerians, Vote wisely. |
Ochiske:If it is Propaganda, let him just show his certificate. Salisu Buhari became Speaker of the house without Results. This thing is too simple to be an issue. |
Seun, you really need to include age bracket (like 10-18, 19 - 25)on Nairalanders profile to understand/assess many comments objectively. There is a 'Women Liberation' happening in Nigeria and whether you like it or not, every man is designed to overcome a stage with an opportunity in that area. Today, Nigerian women are getting liberated from just 'a baby making machine' to anindependent minded, a voice and a force to be reckoned with in our polity. I will salute any leader thinking along that line. Check out on Nat. Geography site for a documentary on 'Events that make the 80s' to understand what we are having now. This government for me has given voicee to many (Women, Youths and even the elderly) and we can see what this is bringing to our politics. For the first time, we got an opposition (Viable), we got a FOI bill, we got a chance to challenge a ssitting president, we got Freedom of Speech before, during and after the speech. GEJ will forever be known for the cutting edge in the transformation of our national life. |
soe:Have you seen a copy of the affidavit? He said thee certificate is with the Military board which means 'I have but with the Military' if he does not have but have an equivalent, he should have said so. I keep wondering why it is so difficult to apply amd show the Haters. At least they criticized him about women and he imported his wife immediately today. On PTF, no one said GMB did 'Ghana Must Go' but he is known for bad management. In 1978, 2.8B USD went missing and GMB could not explain it but simply send Soldiers to retrieve all the documents when he became the Head of State. During Abacha days, he managed PTF and it was contract inflation galore by the consultant handling the contract allocation. Since he has been in Daura tending to cows, he hhas not been able to have a good business that will at least enable the General raise funds for any major stride. If he cannot turn the small resources to something much more, I am not convinced he will manage the resources (Very vast) of this nation successfully. He might not ssteal but the cabals who could make a fortune for ruling just one state will Milkk us dry. Vote Wisely |
ilugunboy:So u think the same House of Assembly will still be APC controlled? Bros, wake up! |
Rilwon:Buhari promise to give N5,000 monthly to 25 million jobless Nigerians, which is N1.5 trillion in 12 months i.e. About One-Third of our budget in 2015 Is it not clear that this is deceit of the highest order? He must be relying on the continuing flow of Niger Delta oil to pay such handouts rather than implement TRANSFORMATIONAL policies to create EMPLOYMENT. Why should anyone want to be a beggarly Almajiri or area boy when he has a BRAIN, two hands and can be EDUCATED to acquire skills for EARNING a living Which kain person go prefer that daft option being offered to us as change when he is not afflicted by Cow Cloned Brain Syndrome. Any candidate not planning to give us the opportunity to fish has no plan for our future VOTE WISELY |
vantage7:Please read the attachment again. It shows they were orders before GMB government |
aguiyi:Or this was this the avenue Buhari's cohorts ate Nigeria'ss money. It has been said 'He might not steal but he will look away if the corrupt fellow is an Alhaji in his favour' 1B dollars in a year Nigeria resulted to Austerity. |
Before you vote, take note of the following from a first time voter; A young voter wrote: For those of us clamouring for GMB, I saw this and I thought to share it here. What can you say as regards these allegations which are actually facts... 1) Who is the man who cancelled meal ticket for students but now claiming to re-introduce the same thing. 2) The man with the worst Foreign relations in the history of Nigeria? 3) Under whose tenure did the British introduce visa for Nigerians. (Until that time, you get your visa at the point of entry like it is with South Africans.)? 4) Who was leading when the essential commodities became an issue in Nigeria? I mean when you had to have long queues to get milk, sugar, soap, toilet rolls, etc. 5) who supervised the situation where Nigerians had to report to the government before travelling abroad. (Many pple travelled to London in 1984 and had to keep some money at home cos they could get arrested. Imagine! You get arrested with your own legally earned money)? 6) Who arrested Fela for carrying dollars abroad. Yet Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji did the same thing and nothing happened. (the man lost over 100 pounds in a London taxi)? JUSTICE OKORO- IDOGU LATER BEGGED FELA AND CONFESSED HE WAS COERCED TO JAIL HIM BY BUHARI 6a) The newspapers started taking about it everyday and the guy got angry and had Tunde Thomson & Nduka Irabor Imprisoned. The first and only head of state to imprison journalists without a single crime of note. THEY SAY BUHARI'S GOVERNMENT WAS CORRUPT FREE. HOW CAN WE BE SURE WHEN THERE WAS NO FREEDOM OF PRESS? WHEN PEOPLE CANNOT REPORT WHAT THEY SEE.? 7. Who was the man that jailed Pa Michael Ajasin 70 years in prison without any proof of corruption? 8. Who was the man that sent soldiers to the house of Pa Obafemi Awolowo where they took away his personal notes, plans and documents because they wanted to get his ideas, rather than engage the older man.(no social skills, no respect for elders)? 9. Who was the man that sent soldiers to ransack NNPC where they carted away papers, memos & documents that had to do with his Oil Money Scam of 1978 (aka 2.8 billion scandal).? Change of clothes does not make a man but his perception of issues and actions. It takes few months to prepare for election, it takes Four years to live the office should there be victory. VOTE WISELY |
dre11:If we will look at the Major contenders based on news making rounds on promises, this is my take; Some pple claim GEJ signed a one term pact (this was done in Secrete) All Nigerians and the world saw GMB cry on National TV with a commitment that he is running in the 2011 for the last time but what do we have today? For example, APC promise 3M jobs and did not give us how that will be done or government will employ that much? THEY are all the same. |
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Give us the copy of advise. Someone really need to convince me to vote APC. They are like someone who wore a red shirt and openly lying it is white just because they think I don't have a way of verifying their claims, how will I believe if they say 'Come for N5000 tomorrow'. |

Akshow:When you say the North, just know that the number of votes Jonathan will get in Gombe of today and Adamawa, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kogi, Benue, Niger State (with IBB support), GMB cannot get same in SS (except Edo) and South East. In southwest, pple will still vote Jonathan in Ondo, Ekiti, Ogun and Oyo Massively while Lagos will be shared. They have been campaigning that GEJ did not do anything in Southwest and I travelled to Ekiti during the Yuletide to have a feel of 8 lane road on the same Lagos - Ibadan I use to know! I will support a privatized PHCN world over because it cannot be same as the one with the Pot Bellied Civil Servants. When GEJ decided to do it, many said it would not be possible but it happened successfully. All that has befallen us is related to near zero cooperation from many states with the government just cos GEJ took a decision in 2012 Jan. After then, SureP funds have been used and we can see it on our roads, our rails and other areas. |
musb92yahooco:If you are Voting, remember; 1. I will not rest until every state in Nigeria is under the Sharia law 2. I will Stabilize the Price of Oil (Like he is OPEC) because of Cluelessness 3. I will confornt Corruption and as soon as we are ask how, they came up with a Dunce answer 'I will put all Korrupt person in Kirikiri 4. In 1978, 2.8B USD was missing under Buhari as the Minister of Petroleum and till date no report on the said fund. 5. His government was overthrown because he does not appreciate other people's views 6. The Austerity measure led to the sacking of 30000 Soldiers which further weaken the army. 7. Trade by Barter programme in 20th century which short-Changed Nigeria greatly. He was just dashing out our Oil/Commonwealth. 8. Any attack on BokoHaram is an attack on the North. 9. Introduced a decree and applied it retroactively. This is not because he was a military Head of State but intimidation and deliberate act of wickedness. |
odehaj:All of these are in the public domain. Google each of the points and get back. |

VIPERVENOM:Did BBC/CNN stated that correspondent sent the figure? They relied on details from the inflated figure from many social commentators who wish to use the insecurity in the land as a campaign tool. Do you know what 2000 means? Only yesterday, the security forces came on attack in Yobe and many TV stations picked the headline as 'Insurgents hit Yobe State town' and the news that followed from the same TV station stated that residents scampered for safety after they heard heavy gunshot upon the arrival of heavy security personnels. From one side, US decline our arms request, another side, the media platforms keeps reporting the war like the Military has left their post while from the economy point, we are getting to almost Zero dollar to a barrel of oil just cos the US is fighting the Russia and many more. Instead of coming together, we simply take our place in the script and acting like nothing has happened in Nigeria in the last 4 yrs. Many have travelled through remodelled airports, reconstructed roads, win grants from FG, get funds under the SME funds, ride through the country sides in trains, had taxation reduced in 2012, believe the Privatization of PHCN is better than leaving it in the hands of Pot Bellied Civil servants and many more. When the President requested we should ask them if our security architecture was funded while they were there, ask them if visionless man will bring up a dry season farming (to ask them what they never imagined) We have a day in Feb to stand united and make a statement that with determination we will overcome our challenges because we shall not be cowed in the face of some insurgents. We have armed forces and they havve our support to win the war. God bless Nigeria |
awesome99:GMB is of the 10th Century for the singular reason of running a 'trade by barter' regime in 20th century during his reign. Wheen you take our oil to buy other commodities, then you are clueless. |
He said: “We had, at Nigeria’s request, agreed to train some battalion, in my opinion, some of the best trainers in the world have been provided by the United States. The agreement was that we would provide the trainers and the Nigerian Army would provide the equipment we need to properly conduct the training and that was agreed well ahead of time as part of our partnership. Is the programme to train us on the equipments we already have or give us better equipments and train us on how to use it? I tire for these Americans oo |
