The actors of the military administration of 1984 and 1985 is GMB and it is totally incorrect to say that 'he is being judged too harshly'.

For me, he was tested with ABSOLUTE power and we all know what he did with it. I do not believe he acted in those manners because it was military regime but because of his views about the issues and circumstances.

In 2004, he told BBC journalist during the Hardtalk interview that information peddled by journalists were distractions. If at 1984, information thrown out by journalists are distractions, what happens with the Jet age of Twitter, Facebook and loads of other social media platforms?

Nigeria of today is liberalized and with that power we have been able to mount required pressure due to freedom of expression guaranteed than ever.

What we have in a President is not perfect but he is a departure from the old order.
For me, let's march forward and keep putting required pressure on govt to do the needful.

In the North of today, it is threats to PDP/Jonathan supporters due to emotions. The southern part is much better because 2 friends can differ politically and they will still do everything together. This is why I keep asking 'who is really threatening Nigerians?'

One thing the APC has successfully done is to tell us about 1 million pple that attended their rallies mean all Nigerians are yearning for a change only guaranteed in a Buhari Presidency.

All their supporters have remained so confident like we got the votes already forgetting that over 60 Million voters are out there.

They have called everyone who opposes their change view with some passion like in a war situation. From responses by the Top contenders, one cannot but see through why this is the prevalent issue.

Elections are between Brothers and Sisters - GEJ

From the above, one can see and feel the most desperate of the two.

During the signing of accord by the political parties, Buhari commented that 'It is impossible to take power from the ruling party Legitimately' while Jonathan stated that Nigerin needs to embrace a system that discourages 'Winner takes it all' and he preaches inclusive government as much as possible (this I believe was why he called all the opposition for way forward after 2011 elections)

I am worried that Fashola insists that elections must go on when less than 40 percent of Lagosians have their PVCs. The same with Rochas too. They were all happy because the North already have the highest number of voters with PVCs and as such GMB will simply win the election.

Nigerians now have a new power (freedom to express our views) and we better use it to our advantage by giving suggestions to government rather than bringing it all down.

No matter the President, a populace with our attitude might not get the best out of our political space.

In my opinion, Nigeria is 'Work in Progress' and we will POSSIBLY not be talking about all these if we had practised democracy since 1979 till date but instead of defending democracy, it was scuttled.

This postponement will calm nerves and we hope the two major contenders will preach more of peace, peace and peace.

Pls tell us one of the details given that was outright falsehood?

Did he send foreigners out of Naija or not?
Was 2.8B Naira missing in 1978 or not?
Did he try Ajasin 3 times just to convict him?
Did he send soldiers to the market and for pple to sell food at a particular price?
Did he crate Umaru Dikko or Not?
Did he not execute a woman by firing squad?
Did IBB took over from him on the stand that he does not believe in the diverse vviews of Nigerian nation?
Did he not bring APC as contractor to PTF and was there an inquiry which indicts the APC (Afri-Project consortium) of defrauding Nigeria 25B?
Were Journalists thrown to prison and NANs banned?
This and many more happened andd the documentary simply stated the events of those days.

I have a friend that changed her mind after watching the clips cos she was close to tears seeing the dehumanising acts of those days.

Election postponement on grounds of Boko Haram is a flawed argument. Boko Haram has been in control of 17 out of 774 (abi na 777) LGs. Is that enough to stop a national process? Party primaries went ahead, election registration went ahead....etc etc.

The military claims to have captured territories from BH. Why is the govt still talking about 17 LGs under BH caliphate? Someone is lying.

If in 6 weeks, they cannot crush Boko Haram in totality, at what point is it ok to hold the elections? 15, 10, 5 or 2 LGs under BH caliphate? We are being deceived.

Knowing this dumb govt, they will commit a huge blunder and it will be downhill for Nigeria from there. OBJ foisted this irresponsible set of humans on us.

All these monies are more than 7 yrs budget of Nigeria and the total Oil sales of Nigeria within the period is not up to 38 Trillion (About 250 Billion Dollars).

The tactics is that, 'they have gotten PWC to answer 20B USD, let's tell Nigerians 30 Trillion is missing so that they can look for KPMG while we use it for Election'

It is not about Patrick Utomi. It's economics and facts. Is your life better now than four years ago?

As a stakeholder in one of the Nationalized banks handed over to new owners. I am far better off because I have gotten more opportunities opened due to the Nationalization.

As a Nigerian working in Lagos, I have tried to start a small business usin some other pple to run it but when you interface with Lagos State government, you will know it is pay, pay and pay again.

As a person I am better off but as a business in this harsh environment, it is far from it at all.

In 1978, Naija Naira was stronger than dollar. The equivalent of 2.8B Naira was 3B USD as at that time.

The older ones calling for Buhari now are the Smart boys of Lagos working to see how they can also touch Oil money cos Buhari is known to be a Figure Head in every establishment he heads. Others do the Job for him and because he does not know much, he will sign whatever Tinubu & Co brings the moment they put it in graphics and power point (My view)

If any of the parties loose the election by a margin less than PVC outstanding, there can be more trouble and court cases.

2 weeks postponement or so won't kill anyone.

The 1999 constitution does not require a certificate. The principal report and recommendation is enough evidence of education to school certificate level. WAEC is just one of the prove but not d only prove. because WAEC needs evidence of ur education b4 you can write WAEC. Again all one needs to have a waec certificate is just one D8 ot P8

If the Affidavit has said what you stated above, he would not require a special News Conference.

He claimed in 2003, 2007 and 2011 that his Wasce was Submitted to the Military board.

For me, he should have applied immediately this became an issue and WASCE would have given it accelerated action.

In my view, everyone is been cowed to support APC or else......

GEJ is our liberation because no matter what, everyone is able to express his/her views so freely that we aree already learning to see everyone's view as their view.

The Advert by Fayose of Yesterday said it all. In a Nigeria of the 'Oppressed Age', such a yabbing would have led to deaths in the Northern part of the country but we have been so free that it was simply condemned, seen as his view and condoned within the larger Nigeria.

Whoever or Whatever you wish to become in Nigeria is guaranteed with the Freedom of speech available today.
