Nigerians will never be allowed to choose their preferred leader. Look back and see all the leaders that have been imposed on Nigerians. They have all turned out to be failures. The worst of the societies. Delegating the duty to choose who becomes the leader of a country like Nigeria to a few elites is equal to political highway robbery. All these excuses about inflated cost of direct primary is balderdash. Nigerians will never have the opportunity to choose their preferred leaders. |
There's something the United States and other western world are doing that the third world is not doing. Or are we just plain stupid |
obynzo:I thought so too. Two years ago, she was lamenting over the under-utilization of its huge fibre optic infrastructure. Rate of adoption of internet enabled technology is abysmally low. Going forward, equinix will have to inject funds for future expansion to reach as many Nigerians as possible. |
The only reason Nigeria continues to exist is because of long endearing sacrifice that the minority tribe make. |
The right thing to do is to immediately recommend them for dismissal. There are plenty hands ready to replace those rogue officers within the police. |
Interesting. And your you write very well. At 30, some are to start life. You just need to aim higher. |
BruncleZuma:Yes. That's my darling country. Tell your guy get the f**k out of that place before turn him to a work zombie. The country has a way of altering your mindset and almost drive you nuts |
twosquare:Handheld amateur radios have noisy channels especially when they are voivce modulated in lower spectrum. They can be easily intercepted from as far as 100km with high powered radio stations coupled with radio decrypting software. A technical school graduate can do do this without a sweat |
Ever8090:Appreciate the effort and move on. The project is worth commending |
Let me not say anything. These civil servants are servants to their political masters |
Lewandoski20:The North needs peace and Unity in Nigeria than the rest of the country. Just take a look at the mini civil war going on for the past decade in the North. I don't think this North has what it takes to prosecute a war. No one is praying or playing with the idea of a war. The challenges the country faces is as a result of a few ego maniacs in power, nothing more. |
adamsmith914:Hence I labelled it dubious. An unproductive unitary system on government is what we practice but the originators claim it's a replica of the federal system. On paper, it claims to be federal but in actual fact it's almost an exact replica of what we military practice. Our foundation as country is just too fraudulent. It can be fixed with sincererity and openness. |
989900:This has always being my position. We tend towards equity and fairness as Africans. A lot of people complain about how undemocratic zoning is but they refuse to acknowledge the fact that no democracy is perfect and every democratic system should leave room for its uniqueness. UK, Canada, Australia, Germany etc all practice democracy but it's a democracy that suits it's different political landscape and history. We dubiously adopted the American system of government and made a mess of it all. A lot of Nigerians feared how incompetent this administration would be because he doesn't have leadership qualities required and his antecedents spoke too well of what it would turn out to be. The North was just eager to get their own in and the other regions felt the last administration was incompetent and utterly corrupt, so he needed to leave except the SS and SE. |
justmondris:This Na'abba stood against the third term bid of Obasanjo. They know they can't go the route of third term. The Joker they are trying to pull is to see that a northerner remains in power. They are seriously dependent on the division in the south for their plan to succeed. |
The North has a penchant that is insatiable. The northern elites are power maniacs. The northern populace are just a canno. fodder to perpetuate themselves in power. Boko haram and Fulani bandits are just tools to keep power permanent in the north and looting continues |
Happy Eid-El Maulud to all the Muslim sisters and brothers in the house. Wishing everyone a blissful celebration |
Religion is a very soft spot for an average northerner. This is what these terrorists build their plans on. The problem is fundamental. Every fundamentalist with terrorist tendency will ask the average illetrate northerner to reject education (1st step to brainwashing) despite the fact that many of them acquired western education. They know with education, there's bound to be resistance at the early stage. This explains why their first first step is to obliterate any footprint of western education, simply because it's an impediment to their ideologies. The masses in the north are in for a long ride. Unfortunately for us, we've fundamentalist in position of power in the country. These ones are willing tools and a symbol of authority. Their next move we don't know yet. Abacha saw all these and he did what was right to quickly every trace of religious fanaticism as early as possible. Unfortunately, the present crop of leadership have no such quality. Reason why we're where we are today. |
A rare opportunity to revamp the economy is staring us in the face but when I remember the competence of that who presently rules Nigeria, my high hopes is deflated instantly. It's time we bring back Okonjo Iweala |
It's time for the SE to occupy Aso Rock. That's the will of God and it shall be so. Come 2023, an Igbo man will rule Nigeria. |
To add, a position as sensitive as customer relations should avoid carrying out official related duties like sending or receiving emails via any public WiFi. Some wi-fi's are set up to strip any form of encryption or passprase on your communication channels |
Non of them should get less than 15 years jail term. |
The best way to frustrate these fraudsters is to attach an ear phone to your phone immediately you receive the calls. Once they start making those threats, let the calls keep running and they will drop the calls when they notice they aren't getting any respond on the other end. Never speak to them. Do this a couple of times and they would stop calling you. Criminals Everywhere. Hunger Dey Naija |
Ademola47:As if this will make the system any better. When you get incompetent people into position of authority, this is what you get. Tyrants everywhere |
[quote author=tutudesz post=106367852]How can a religious leader be making such statement imagine if religious leaders from each zone start making the same comment in support of criminals operating in their various zone[/quoteGumi is simply diversionary. Ask him what his opinion is about the bandits asking all primary and secondary schools to shutdown and convert to islamic schools. Bandits and Boko Haram share a single ideology i.e an Islamic State in place of a Nigerian State |
Watch how Nigerians will be asking stupid questions like ''What is the essence of the CCTV if it cant stop the killer from committing the crime''. |
Staff Fingerprint Time Attendance. Some schools are going smart. Call or send whatsapp to 08166894416. Receive staff attendance report anywhere in the world. Also suitable for office and industrial staff report.
|
Thieves with pride. I dont blame their lot. Their likes are in power and go about with state backed police protection. |
Some schools are going smart.Clock in attendance for staff
|
Gradually, the Nigerian spirit is taking over their sense of reasoning. This is how we started |
Whyem15:This takes us back to the argument of investing massively in drone surveillance. Every busy route should have drone hovering at least 80km interval, at least twice a day. It's going to be expensive doing this with manned aircraft. Radio Comms is also going to be key. |
jaxxy:Every telecommunications equipment has a PAPR (Peak Average Power Ratio) emanating from base stations. This can be override by pumping more kilowatt into the transmitter to enable radio signals travel further. NCC regulates the telcos from violating this limitation as they encroach and distort neighboring bands. All NCC needs to do is get high powered transmitters and jam those frequency. This can be done from central location or distributed. A good example is when you hear noise and sounds from other radio stations on your tuned station. It can be done. |
