The public gathering of christainity or any other non islam religion within saudi arabia is highly prohibited. The possesion of bibles, rosaries, crucifixes statue and any other religious symbol in saudi arabia is illegal by their law. Despite this, here are over 2 million christains who are mostly expertriates working in the kingdom.

DOZIEX!!! my man! Long time! Always frank and straight to the point. No time for unnecessary bickering.
Its sickening how we use our military. Very quick to use the military to shut down anti-government views and populism while they keep mum in the face of external aggression. Cameroon and Chad, we know. Even Benin Rep forces had an incursion across our western border last year, and there was no response from us. Not even a peep from the MOD, DHQ. Nothing.
So much could have been done over many years and so much more could be done now with what we have, but hey, they prefer some of the most infantile and ridiculous operations: Op Python dance, Cat Race, Crocodile Smile and all sorts of nonsense.
For years now, we have unknowingly reduced our military to civillian bully dogs. In the face of external aggression, we would need some extra coaching lessons to remind us how we dealt with such in the past. It is a pity this is self inflicted, an indication that our military capability is questionable.

Its only a matter of time, we will definitely face the grim realities.

Where did you get this nonsensical crap? Tiv did not put up any resistance to the Jihadists and Dan Fodio did not fight any war. The wars of conquer and expansionism were fought by Dan Fodio's son and younger brother.
Do not try to exonorate Usman Dan Fodio fro the expansionist plan of the Sokoto Caliphate. The Preaching and teaching of Islam was Usman Dan Fodio primary responsibility unil he fell out with the Sultanate of Gobir who eventually exiled him against the wish of the Gobir people who were already rapidly converting from their traditional beliefs to Islam.
Politics › Re: Evance Ivwurie Leads Security Agents To The Bush In Search Of ‘Killer’ Herdsmen by persius555(m): 8:03pm On Feb 23, 2018
See foolishness of the highest order. A serious state government will procure long distance enduring drones to track down fulani herdsmen marauders. All these is just for show. Majority of the police know nothing about the bush they find themselves, while these fulani herdsmen explore and travel the length and breadth of every corner in nigeria. This is the strongest point the herdsmen have against all communities.

They should count themselves lucky that they were not ambushed.
Business › Re: I Will Make Nigeria Self-sufficient In Food Production – Dangote by persius555(m):
He doesn't have the capacity to do so. Before the emergence of dangote in the past one and a half decades ago, Nigeria had an agricultural system (though not technologically advantaged) with the capacity to employ hundreds of millions.
Over time, we lost consistency and poor planning and lack of government foresight has led us to a situation that we are faced with the threat of food shortage.

Dangote is an opportunist who makes the best of what he has and has not to his own advantage. We are approaching a dangerous curve as a nation if our collective effort means nothing more because a "business Messiah" thinks his money can do it all.

“We should keep praying so that God reveal the whereabouts of the girls.

This statement confirms the real intent of northern leadership. It seems the north hasn't learnt a thing in the last four to five years of Boko Haram insurgency.

If the leadership refuse to blame the govt for giving the public a false sense of safety then it is obvious these females school kidnaps are all propaganda machinery geared towards holding the Nigerian people to ransom.
If the North cannot put a check to these disgraceful embarrassment emanating from that end, then it should be known that the entire region is a grand, huge conspiracy.

wink2015:
Lets leave this CARTOON NEWS and digress a little and look at the achievement of the socalled government broadcasting network in Nigeria since inception.

In my own candid opinion, the NTA TELEVISION STATION and RADIO NIGERIA ( the radio arm of it ) have not grown or developed to International standard. It is still its OLD SCHOOL SELF not minding its integral role which is to champion federal government PROPAGANDA NEWS.

Take Radio Nigeria for example, they still strive on OBSOLETE BROADCASTING EQUIPMENT.

Switch on your SHORTWAVE RADIO BY 7:00 am and 4:00 pm to listen to radio Nigeria and see the defeaning sound and cracking sounds that come out of their news broadcast. You can NOT even hear the news the newscaster is reading.

MOST FM STATION can not even hook up to radio Nigeria because of the poor reception.

NIGERIA IS SO BACKWARD and UNDERDEVELOP due to corruption in high places.

Our procurement agencies with the connivance of most department head go and buy substandard broadcast equipment even though money was budgeted for quality and modern broadcast equipment.

ONLY FEW PEOPLE BORDER TO LISTEN TO NTA and RADIO NIGERIA as at today.

Multichoice have since rubbish our federal ministry of information and all its governmental agencies.
Wrong. A lot of nairalanders who were born in the 70s and 80s still watch NTA. You get nationwide news coverage on NTA news. Still as fresh as ever. The programme content might be archaic in nature but some of us do relate with its history.
OP, you just made my sunday. Waoh, what nostalgic feeling. I honestly feel like bring back the good old days.

The CJTF are not armed with the AK-47 but double barrels and dane guns. These guys are heavily armed militias of hausa/fulani descent. Neither do they have the built and stature of the regular fulani herdsmen that you see herding cows. Their ascent and looks give them away.

Stop being mischievious. By the way, where the hell did this guys get all that rifle?

The same US is buying 300 Tucanos or AT-6 Wolverine, another light attack aircraft because they know the value and capabilities of the Tucanos.

Nigeria and the US are not clueless and ignorant like many of you..
How many times did the US military or the Lebanon you worship deploy Tucanos against Alqaeda or ISIS. Those birds would most likely be deployed by the US immigration and border patrol against drug mules or people traffickers.

Deploy super tucano against Sudan and see how they would be turn into shreds. You are a learner. Common sense is not taught on Google. You have a brain, use it.

Just imagine, their hero Jona bought decommissioned jets that cannot fight, cannot carry weapons or even drop bombs because they are decommissioned jets.

The Airforce end up spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to reconfigure the rubbish just to be able to carry unguided munitions. I mean unguided, unlike the Tucanos that can carry more sophisticated weaponry like guided munitions and latest avionics.

Like I said, they care less about Nigeria, their problem is hate, bitterness, tribalism, politics and bigotry..
Obviously you are politically deluded in your sense of reasoning. Justifying the purchase of a low flying aircraft just because another country opts for it. That is not strategic for a nation that is cash strapped and in dire need of funds to upgrade its military after years of neglect.

You are obviously too ignorant to educate yourself on what purpose that World War II era aircraft can or cannot achieve.
FYI, it cost just a $10,000 manpad like the one below to destroy those piece of lightweight aircraft.
Have you considered the fact that Boko Haram might have these pieces of technology in their armoury and with these, our piece of crap we brought for such astronomical amount of money would be toast before our eyes.
Right now, we are battling BHT with World War II era Alpha jet that requires immediate replacement by modern day fighter jets, instead we settle for low altitude flying planes with state of the art ammos.
That to any sensible Nigerian is not progress but stagnancy. Will these aircrafts fair any better if they are to engage our daring neighbors Su-25s?

Nigeria is not a rich country that can afford to spend lavishly on piece of techs that have no long term benefits. If we are going to spend, we should be spending wisely on technology that can serve long term and not to please any country or selfish individual like the lot of you.

The problem with Nigeria is individuals like you who sacrifice what's best for the nation on the platter of politics.

This government must be probed for this fraudulent deal. This govt has proven to be neck deep in corruption. I can hear the whole world laughing at this fraudulent deal. The US govt itself will have a hard time justifying this huge and bogus amount for an aircraft famous for mostly border patrols and ligt armed rebels.

I say again. NIGERIA HAS JUST BEEN DEFRAUDED BY THIS GOVERNMENT!!!!!

I think Pakistan has more than been there for Nigeria since this boko thing started, didn't hear much about India
We have strong economic ties with India. What economic value is Pakistan (a harbor of terrorists) to Nigeria. India is overall more strategic to Nigeria than Pakistan. We just need to work on our diplomatic strength and we will get the needed military patnership with any country in the world.

When did RPG become an essential ingredient for making explosives for limestone. Obviously you don't know what an explosive prepared for mining looks like. In mining, dynamites are used and not these bomb making chemicals.

Julivas:
I become a little bit scared reading through the qualities of the Fulanis in the copied message below. Now l am worried:

From the Diary of Sir Lord Luggard.

The Fulani people are ascetic, kind and generous BUT Never fight a war (hot or cold) with the Fulani. Because they have :

1. No rules of engagement
(they just hit again and again)

2. No POW's (they don't take prisoners)

3. No mercy (once they pick you out as the enemy)

4. No fighting fatigue (they are forever fit and prepared, due to their lifestyle)

5. No need for adequate provisions &permanent abode (they live on very little and sleep in the wilderness)

6. No end to hostilities (they fight to finish)

7. No ignorance of terrain and location ( their lifestyle makes everyone of them a human GPS )

8. No deterrence due to casualties (they are strategically distributed all over West and Central Africa, and highly mobile)

9. No need for tranquility (they have no permanent settlements which need peace to thrive)

10. No fear of consequences.

If it is true as above, you don't need a prophet or a Nostradamus to tell you that any Southern territory that harbours the grazing field will sooner or later be conquered as spoils of war for the Fulanis like the Ilorin people. Sooner or later our Kabiyesi will change title to Emir.Haaaaa! Koju ma ri'bi gbogbo Ara logun e.
It is better for our leaders in the Yoruba race to look beyond now. The society is a cooperative venture in which every one is self-interested(Not selfish), equality , fairness,Justice, equality in distribution of resources and social services.
What the Fulanis could not achieve in 19th century, they are now working around the corridors of power to achieve. These Killing around the country by the Fulanis herdsmen must stop! Anybody can fall victim of these rampaging herdsmen any time. I think Ekiti has done well in this regard. We must be watchful and prayerful.
In due time, they will be put where they permanently belong.
