Water in its raw form is a poor electric conductor. The ions from salt is sodium chloride, also non conductive in its own state. When water is mixed with salt component, a highly conductive electrolyte is formed. Salt water is an effective electrical conductor and industrial salt is ten times more concentrated than the domestic salt. The careful application of this electrolyte with raw form of dearth coal forms a perfect crux.

Properties › Re: Thunder Arrestor/Lightning Arrestor Installation in LAGOS, ABUJA(pics) by persius555(op):
Water logged regions require special and standard application of the conductive materials as water concentration affects overall conductivity of electricity in the earth.

Lightning is an example of plasma present at Earth's surface. Plasma is often called the fourth state of matter after solid, liquids and gases. Plasmas are very good electrical conductors and electric potentials play an important role. The potential as it exists on average in the space between charged particles, independent of the question of how it can be measured, is called the plasma potential, or space potential.

This state of matter can only be witnessed in a lightening phenomenon. Because of its high degree of electrical conductivity, the lightening system must be in the perfect condition to be able to effectively conduct electric discharge away from the earth atmosphere to its inner core.
Installation was done in Okota area of Lagos, notorious for being water logged

But corruption won't let us be in this country.

There's something about this otedola bridge. It is synonymous with fatal tankers explosions and car accidents. Its time we start taking notes on this.
This bridge is not the only bridge in Lagos

He might have been successfully intimidating other Africans until he hit this stumbling block. He lost to two Nigerians at a go. Next time he will ask for the country of origin before starting a fight.

this is 5GHz will they work ? and this model is isolated so like similar signals wont interfere with the signal
5ghz are ideal when you trying to isolate your equipment in crowded spectral space. If distance coverage is a priority, 2.4 does better. A lot of RF planners will tell u to go with 5 but take note of the limitations as your siganals go further. 20km is not beans. Good luck.

Follow your fiends setup and see if it works. Bringing in a bridge will leave you with dead zones all over where you intend to cover. Use a bridge if you only need to bring the main internet supply close to your buiding. It will work but it might be more challenging than what your friend has.
Exactly. Op, use your friends setup. If it doesn't work then bring in the bridge

hello guys please i have my house with my family up to 10 and all are heavy internet users , i am currently on track to install a full home network and be like a WISP to them using ubiqiuiti unifi system, my question is if i am to use spectranet as my ISP for the modem , is it possible for me to use a nano beam on top my house as a receiver for the spectranet modem as this would make me have very high signal strength ? please will appreciate your help on this question thanks
Obviously, you know nothing about wifi set up. The nano beam you intend to start with might not be the required device for your kind of set up. You need to do a survey on the locations that are a priority in the building and spot out the wifi dead zones. Proper planning or settle for whatever you get

If VPN Virtual Private Network were illegal, the banks should be persecuted for using this transport mode for data communication purpose.

VPN allows you have privacy in a noisy and unsafe public place like the internet. Freedom to privacy, you might call it.

Yes, the police did the smart thing by releasing screen grabs of surveillance camera footages but they need to dig deeper and act faster. This is over a month after the incident and they decided to release these screenshots now.
That is crime trail getting cold. The public awareness and willingness to help with traces must be at its lowest ebb at this point. A lot has happened and people have moved on but the NPF must learn to act swift and immediate after crime has been committed.

Now they have to work harder than they should have if the screenshots had been released earlier. By the way, these guys look like every street urchin and drug user on the street. Identifying them without a name or something would be harder. A motion picture depicting their body movement and facial expression would have been better.

Also, banks should please invest in 4K surveillance cameras. They have the money, abeg make dem spend to help ease police investigation
