IyaebeTheGreat:Age blackmail is what irresponsible adults like you resolve to but it is no longer potent in our world today. I won't engage you any further. My message is clear. |
IyaebeTheGreat:Your type is irredeemable and can only speak for yourself. It seem these urchins still don't understand what the OBIDIENTS movement stand for. Let me highlight some of our ideologies to you. Go and verify what Responsibility and Accountability mean. Everyone, I repeat everyone will be responsible for their actions in the new Nigeria. The rich, the poor, public office holders and politicians will be made to face the full wrath of law squarely when found quilty. |
I have watched with keen interest from the sidelines through this electioneering period. My rationale for this is because I strongly believe that making the right input and at the right time matters more. Will it be typical to say that we have a culture of forgetting or shock-absorbers for suffering? What does patriotism to one's nation mean? It is the quality of devotion and vigorous support for one's country, according to the Oxford dictionary. I'm paying my dues as a compatriot of my beloved country far away from home. The purpose of this mini note is to "conscientise" those in doubt. In the history of Nigeria, something has been happening that the majority among over 250 million of her citizens have not noticed their pasivity. Speaking from a world perspective, over 250 million people? Yes! 250 million people languishing in poverty, poor or no social care, sub-standard public services/infrastructures and they still choose to continue in the same trajectory? Yes! But why? My answer is simply that the majority of these people are irresponsible. That sounds very ambiguous right? Let me elucidate my point. Ten years ago, precisely 2013, I was part of these very irresponsible(passive) majority of 250 million people without noticing. My redemption was at the end of my 2nd year at the university. This was when I realised that evil thrives when people stay neutral on issues. It was from this view point that I understood the importance of distinctively probing into issues that most people consider irrelevant because it does not directly affect them. In my view, this is where "the common good of all" comes into play. However, the Nigerian culture does not meticulously support this idea (I stand to be corrected) because if it does not directly affect me or my family/cirle damn it. In all honesty, what differentiates the Western world from Nigeria/Africa is their open embrace of the idea of collective good and wealth embedded in their culture. Finally, the irresponsibility and passivity of the majority of the Nigerian populace is the root cause of our problems. Let us learn to take responsibility for our actions and inaction, probe into the affairs of our government to obtain the maximum benefits of democracy and put our country back in the global map. Wishing Nigeria a peaceful, free and fair elections. Signed by MR. P

Omo see massive support for the incoming 001 Peter Obi. God bless the sensible youths of Rivers state and Nigeria at large. |
Will Tinubu be able to grant interview to discuss these track records(as posted above) on any reputable national tv? It would be easy to say a quarter of Nigerian youths lacks insight as to what true leadership entails. Let's think about getting people into office that can independently mock-up policies(even from their sleep) that will better Nigeria. Enough is enough. |
dustydee:I find this helpful, thank you. |
dustydee:I can't open a normal account, get NI, or register with GP. The date of my transit vignette will soon expire. Is that not enough distress? |
Hello everyone, please I need advice on how to handle this situation. I got into UK in October through student Tier 4 visa. After completing visa verification from school, they sent a mail that my brp was not produced due to home office technical issues. I have sent mails and called for help till this morning, school keeps saying they can't fast track home office process. What can I do in this distress? Is it wise to contact the home office by my self?(school advised I let them handle the situation). Has body experienced this before? Your experience and advice will be of great help. Thanks |
Hi guys please help me troubleshoot. My redmi note 7 is showing -rebooth to mi help, reboot to system and wipe data. Trying to reboot but phone not coming up. What can I do? |
Those who have booked and traveled with BA lately, can you please share the cost from Lagos to London Heathrow? |
Hi Quille, You really don't have much trouble, just walk into any Federal High Court. Present the WAEC certificate(for sightseeing) and they will prepare an affidavit to cover the name omission. Make sure the entry is noted in their record book for reference purposes. Once you are done, all you need to do is scan the document and save as WAEC attachment. Submit along side your WAEC result for any application. A piece of advice, don't patronize touts around the court. quille11: |

Good morning everyone. Has anyone here been offered admission or currently studying at Northumbria University Newcastle? Let's connect and share ideas. Thanks |
Getting assurance that you are well should give you some form of comfort, be positive bro. It's just the 8 weeks wait time which might actually be working for your good. What if you are asked to hit the 10ml mark today? ![]() adeniyy01: |
You can't possibly compare any Nigerian music artists with Brymo....in his just released YELLOW album, he(BRYMO) wrote and performed all songs alone but one. Think about that fact if your Davido, Wizkid or Burna boy can ever have sense to write over 13 make sense songs in one album without featuring any body. God gave you brain, use it na! |
You see the lapses in our health sector? A patient with Covid'19 will definitely present symptoms in a matter of minutes(how long can anyone hide cough reflex?). Now they want to hold on the fact that the family lied? It makes no sense to me and it's very unprofessional of those who handled that case. At this critical time of our existence, every body that goes to any medical facility around the country is a suspected Covid'19 patient and should be treated as such untill proven otherwise. ![]() |

All I can say to the OP is brace up! Things will get better soon, keep the hope alive. Millions of young Nigerians within your age are in that table, trust me. Letting go is not the answer bro, but, if she's not contented or show traits of her entitlement to the diamonds silver and gold of this life which you can't afford for now(someday you will). Just be sure she's not a selfish nag, if she is move on without any apology. That's the best thing you can do for your self. |
