I've forgotten which tv show I was watching. It was a show where a dating guru was trying to help people who had no luck building or maintaining relationships. As you may have guessed, there was a virgin on the show. The dating guru paired her with another guy who needed dating help. They were at a restaurant and ordered their food. Before the appetizers reached the table, she already announced that she was still a virgin. She had the biggest grin on her face. Meanwhile, the guy's face was of total confusion, as would mine if I were in his shoes.

Why are some virgins so quick to announce their virginity? Something they've held onto for so long, it appears, they're so quick to dash as well. This was exactly what the dating guru told the woman on he show. Rather than to safekeep it, the woman mentioned it almost immediately, not only degrading herself, but making herself look cheap, desperate, and foolish.

debrief08: Hmmm, Let me find trouble here small. I hate to be the party pooper but most of these meals are packed with calories, except the beans and plaintain and a few of the soups there is not much I will have here, plenty oil, too much meat, especially beef, we think we are enjoying but the fat and calories park up every where, we finish munching 10 meat, plus ponmo and then start strolling and tell ourselves we are "working out", then guzzle it down with juice and beer. We need to start eating healthy and delicious meals, especially women, that stomach, those tighs, na this one dey cause am, if you cant burn it then dont eat it as my friend will say. We make a cup of tea, fill it with sugar, plenty milk and milo then we feel we are enjoying.
As soon as we hit 30, fat becomes harder to burn, so we have to watch what we put into our mouths, reduce the oil, use healthier alternatives, it is easier to watch what we eat than burn the fat.

My husband has gotten some racism, yes. Or discrimination, it depends how you see it.
- People have asked him if he sells drugs when he is walking alone with the pram, and the baby in it. Just because he is black.
- People tells me to be careful maybe he only want me for papers in EU. Just because he is black.
- People have denied him access to pubs, saying they dont want his kind there. Again, black.
- People have asked if I am being forced to wear a hijab now that we are married. - Muslim.
- People have moved away when he sits down on the bus, I would dare to think because he is black.

I have had racism against me for being white to, from black men and women.
But, thats probably not what you were after.

True, I agree racism comes vice versa . I am black living in the U.S and in the city where I live , there are very few blacks and I have not faced any racial discrimination so far .My point is this , my wife , who is white, sometimes last year came down to Africa and faced discrimination in the plane by our black woman. They hissed at her and call her names . So racism comes from both ends and I think it is gradually becoming history only for the ones that are still living in the past .

Why dey com dey lie before .I always tell people that until our rulers understand that it is of the citizens' paramount request that they tell the transparent truth about basic things like the kinds of food the president eats ( and not the bull crap of cassava bread and fasting shits ),details about their leisure times, particular sicknesses they are battling with ,Now that the president has lots of shoes , we want to know his designer .The first lady physically is not in good shape , we want to know what effort(s) she is making to put herself in a good healthy shape, and so on . It is until then that people can trust them with something that matter most to them - their money . In the real sense , it is not unexpected of lots of these political figures to enjoy some pleasure times yet with a good sense of accountability , frugality and discipline .
