It is obvious that Kwakwanso is more popular and acceptable in the North than Atiku. Buhari is most popular than them all. Tambuwal even has to play the game with everything to survive the hurricane or cyclone. |
When she publicly said she has slept with a lot of men. How will Lolu be comfortable with her. rex444: |
Are you really in politics or a spokesperson for politicians. |
Thoughtless senator vomiting empty stinking gas. You earn so much, and having realized you are not returning to the 9th Senate you suddenly found the need to reduce politicians' pay. You never thought of teachers alll these years. Following Saraki up and down for 4 years. |
Medics in the house, what is your take on a high blood pressure of 410/121? |
Go get some sense. How has he become the slayer of Tinubu or Buhari? By his childish madness? NaijaRoyalty: |
He will be disgraced. At least some lawyers would have their share of the stolen money in his custody. dafemnet: |
People in the SE only voted on Nairaland and other social media platforms. Others joined Nnamdi Kunnu's IPOB to discourage voting. landmark86: |
It is evident that Reno has no job. He lives on and hopes for miracle that would return PDP to power. Shameless thing! |
I pray this poisonous spirit will not kill you. ceejayMAX: |
Wake up from your sleep. Atiku has lost hands down. He is not even loved in the core north. sonature1: |
There is no contravention of the electoral act. Atiku should go to court to disgrace himself. |
Stale news. |
Selfish people. OBJ deceived them with a "third force" and abandoned them |
Refer that demand to Daddy Freeze rusher14: |
Northern voters don't register nor vote on social media. An average northerner, even herdsmen, cannot do without a radio. They don't need any National Orientation Agency to pacify them. MrPolitics: |
The best detribalized Governor with presidential qualities. |
Trash! Their messages are not for the general wellbeing of the church or nation, but themselves. What did they do better when Christians - OBJ and Jonathan were presidents? I am a Christian, but they even accompanied Jonathan to Israel to lay hands on him and anoint him president for 2015-2019. Their primary interest is about themselves. Let God be true and every man a liar - Romans 3:4. No amount of anointing would make any man become God. Nigeria will rise again!! HigherEd: |
This is your dream for yourself. You will reap what you sow. obiekunie1: |
Bad boy! Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. freshngwaboy: |
Efforts in futility! Sincerely speaking, can Sowore win the simple majority and realize 25% of votes cast in 24 states and Abuja? Practically impossible in 2019. He doesn't have the spread. |
What evil? What right did he wrong? Just say you are a beneficiary of looted fund. Myopic people! Next Level till 2023. 4 + 4 = 8 Ken4Christ: |
Who cares? If you like put Osama bin Ladin's portrait! That's your kettle of fish! id911: |
Sai Baba Sai Buhari Let the wailers continue to wail Nigeria will forever advance beyond the reach of jobless looters. 4 + 4 = 8 2019 + 0004 = 2023 |
Idiot! I suspect this FFK has brain damage. Quite unfortunate... |
That some people represented LAUTECH and won does not erase what LAUTECH is known for - fraud, mark sorting, settlement of lecturers to pass and Yahoo! I once worked in the University and I have my fact. It will take sometime for any transformation to change public perception. Ask the residents, taxi drivers and okada risers in Ogbomoso what they know about LAUTECH, their response will shock you all. iwriterng: |
That some people represented LAUTECH and won does not erase what LAUTECH is known for - fraud, mark sorting, settlement of lecturers to pass and Yahoo! |
Please go and sleep. LAUTECH is nothing but sham. Any LAUTECH graduate in the past 10 years who made it in life and chosen career, must have put in his personal best to suceed with little or no contribution of the institution, its teaching and non-teaching staff. GistkitNG: |
The assertion of OP is a lie from the pit of hell! LAUTECH is a glorified college of "anything goes", corruption, and dishonesty The education sector in Nigeria like other sectors of the economy is in shambles. However, the cause of the crises rocking the all-important sector upon which other indices of growth and development is hinged is not traceable to the government, but much more to the other stakeholders who are silent partners in crime. The unending critical situation of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso jointly owned by Oyo and Osun States comes to mind. In the words of Apostle Paul gave a glimpse of the end-time in 2 Timothy 3:13, "...while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived...". Does this clearly describe LAUTECH? Are the present travails of LAUTECH mere circumstantial or an obvious trend? Many wise and intellIgent people knew it would come to this level. It is a University where academic dishonesty, financial mismanagement, and administrative immorality with chunk of the people living above their means. A university where sycophancy is embraced even by the Vice Chancellor. They follow them to church/mosques, meet to discuss frivolities, major on the minors and minor on the majors. It has always been a university where: 1. full-time lecturers work as though they were part-time. 2. lecturers hardly stay in the office, 3. they attend classes only when they feel like, 4. discuss only the exam questions with studnets weeks to exams, 5. collect money from students to pass and sleep with femaie students. 6. students contribute to buy a set of vehicle tyres or buy new cars, generating sets, refrigerators or even help complete houses for staff. 7. A staff in one of the Faculties was found to be parading himself with an imaginary PhD from the University of Ibadan with which he was promoted many times, yet the verdict of the system was place the said lecturer on the rank that matches his qualifications? What a university? Could this be an end-time university? What a useless University management and thoughtless staff. Did they all not see the present predicaments coming? This is the only university that keeps passing NUC accreditations through backdoor arrangements and manipulation even when they know nothing is working - no working laboratory, the library is just a building with outdated books, no reasonable collections of journals and current conference proceedings. During the last NUC accreditation exercise in May/June 2018, they thought they were fooling the world - NUC inclusive. They issued fictitious appointment letters to every jobless graduate and postgraduate student they could think of, created files for them as potential staff, yet no letter was handed to those hapless individuals. They use them to beef up the staff-student ratio on paper, but deep down they know they were no staff, they signed no assumption of duty document. What kind of university would decide to write official letters duly signed by the registrar, received by the Deans and the Heads of Departments with the knowledge of ASUU, SSANU, NASU, NAAT. The university has always passed accreditations be it NUC, COREN, etc on the basis of fraud and dishonesty. How could such an institution conveniently produce graduates that are worthy in learning and character? The university that carries a motto of excellence, integrity and service which are grossly deficient in everything that defines the pseudo-university. Many of these Departments, Units, Sections have Pastors, Imams, and other so-called Born-again Christians and Muslims - where is their conscience? Less than two months period was used for registration, lectures and examination in the last semester. All the staff and students know this! Any future for this system? Find out their recruitment strategies - (1) politically inclined, (2) through back doors, (3) appeasement god fathers, (4) how many sound-minded academics remain in the university? The staff are divided along ethnic and religious lines to the detriments of the students. Right before their noses, LAUTECH is undeniably regarded all over the world as the only Accredited Yahoo-Plus University. Truth be told all of them - management, staff, students, religious fanatics- are part of this mess! What was the outcome of the staff and financial audit? Great revelation of corruption! This was not the LAUTECH led by Professors Olusegun Oke and Akinola M. Salau. Though it seems to be the end-time LAUTECH, I can only pray that this will not be the beginning of the end of LAUTECH. |
Multiplier effect of corruption 1. A young man works for one of the state ministries. His salary is 120K. He makes 15,000 everyday on this desk (N75k a week) engaging in corrupt practices. As a result, he spends the daily cash as he cares. Living large and far above his legitimate income. 2. He visits the local joint every evening and buys drinks for friends, and area boys. They hail him. He is married, but has two girlfriends. His "income" is enough to take care of them. The Asun seller at his favorite joint is happy, the joint owner is happy. 3. Everyone was benefiting from his "income". Friends, family, area boys, joint owner, Asun seller, girlfriends, wife and his church. Life was good. 4. Then suddenly the ministry implemented the Treasury Single Account (TSA) at the beginning of PMB administration. His extra "income" disappeared and he had to adjust to the reality of event and live within his real income. That wasn't easy. 5. Initially he reduced his daily visit to the joint to 3 days a week and stopped buying drinks for everyone. He reduced he plates of Asun. The Asun seller started to find it hard to sell a full goat each day and resorted to buy half. 6. The young man's girlfriends started to feel the heat too. No more iPhone 10. The joint owner noticed a drop in sales. The young man finally stopped visiting the joint after a month. The area boys started feeling his absence. The effect cascaded down. 7. The young man started spending more time at home with his wife and kids. The family had to readjust to the reality of the new normal. His hair stylist noticed the young man suddenly stopped tipping. He will even wait for his N200 change after haircut. 8. Things are different. Times are hard, they all cry. The young man is blaming Buhari, his wife is blaming Buhari, the area boys are blaming Buhari, the girlfriends are saying Buhari must go, the joint owner is saying Buhari killed the "economy" 9. The Asun seller is cursing Buhari, the hair stylist is insisting Buhari is too old to rule. This is the story of our nation where corruption fuels the "economy". Those who are not engaging in it are benefiting from it. 10. This tread is not about Buhari's achievement or failure, but rather about the "multiplier" effect of corruption and how we have built a system largely driven by corruption. It's about policy implication (good or bad). It's about the choices we have made. Finally, the young man had to withdraw his kids from what he called expensive primary school his kids attend. He added:"what are they teaching them there sef " Obasanjo didn't go to a private school. I just laughed |
