The fact that I was not on NL jumping up and down when they were excluded does not not mean I'm in support of such act. I only responded to the person that asked "who is Dele" as I believe the issue being discussed is not about Dele but the repugnancy of the act and should be condemned. If thesame question had come up regarding NN4 debate, my response will still be thesame. I don't see the logic in your question of where I was when NN24 excluded other in their debate, did I mentioned I have done anything about this one apart from dropping my 1 kobo's worth on NL? and if you still want to know where I was , well I was in my house minding my business.
I was not asking where you were as from the physical location perspective and thanks for explaining your point of view. The argument then was that NN24 can invite who ever they wished to and their criteria was that it was only the top four candidates. The whataboutus debate also invited the top six candidate of which shekarau was not among but at the end of the day i was surprised to find him there.

See my point is there has not been a perfect method of selecting candidates for these debates so whatever BON does should just be left like that because the earlier organizers were also guilty of the same crime of excluding some candidates. Not that i am in support of candidates being excluded but i cringe this days when i feel people just want to condemn anything that has to do with PDP, BON or the government. That's the reason i have been asking that, what was the position of those condemning this act as it is not a new thing and can the provide evidence if they condemned the other debate organizers.

Whoever has a problem with rigging should go the court for a proper address of their grievance as that is the only legitimate option provided to such people.

There is no room for lynching or violence after the election results is announced, we are a civil society and so shall it be.

It was further gathered that PDP backed out of the television debate because there were no concrete agreements on the nature of questions to be asked and how to admit the studio audience.
Is the above not a legitimate request that should be addressed for the sake of a credible debate and the security of the president?.

This is not about Dele - whoever or whatever he is doesn't matter. The crux of the matter is that every aspirant should be given a level playing field; as such no one should be excluded, from a debate no matter how hopeless their ambition might be. I'm not a fan of Dele and can never vote for him, but the act of denying him the platform to present himself to the electorate should be condemned by every right thinking person. No wonder Nigeria is where it is today because we've condone so much nonsense in the past. May God help us.
And where were you when some candidates were excluded from the NN24 and whataboutus debates? undecided

What is wrong in asking for the questions or topics to be discussed? the overall goal is to communicate your plans to the electorate.

Seriously, your story is so out of whack . . . I have no place to start self. Could Deji be their lawyer? It is possible, but I find no head of tails with what you keep coming up with . . . since you claim you spoke to the guys, why not contact Saharareporters with this version of your own. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Deji is no lawyer but they are not in good talking terms anymore so whatever dipo does with  douglas is separate from what deji is doing with the omokiri of a guy. So it was dipo's part that went finally to the book while deji part was the one that went to sahara reporters. Deji went to sahara reporters without even consulting the other guys and gave them their phone numbers but they declined audience only for sahara reporters to still go ahead with the story from only one party and claimed as if it was three of them that gave them the story.

Anyway i will call it off here but i will tell the guy to give sahara reporters a reply or tell oronto douglas to give sahara reporters a reply to clear everything up.

ESCALATE IT  . . . I double dare you to!!! I challenge you!! grin cheesy grin cheesy grin cheesy angry cheesy grin grin

Dipo and ade never held any correspondence ever with sahara reporters, he only gave the interview to thisday and he has been in contact with oronto douglas by email. It was the same deji that has been in contact with sahara reporters which they have been spinning as anonymous source and one of the students. It was the same him that gave them the contacts of the other two guys and you can see that dipo has never contacted sahara reporters before developed this story.
I have spoken with him and he has never contacted them up to the call them gave him in that report.

There was never a follow up, even though in the book it seemed there was --- that is what they are trying to tell you,  . . . READ . . .  READ . . .  READ  . . . .  Cry Cry Cry Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed .

Since you earlier claimed you actually spoke to one of them, why not write to correct the paper then if you are confident you did. That way you can make the paper retract it's story in time.
Douglas contacted dipo and why should i do that for them or do i look like dipo and co that are in this mess?  grin

Madam i go soon go sleep, i know those guys and if care is not taken the case might escalate soon and they will spill it all out.  grin
Politics › Re: . . . . . . And The President Lied! by Pharoh: 9:54pm On Mar 28, 2011
So, if according to you, Dipo and Ade own the project, and they both claim they were never contacted, and Mr Omikri confirms that by his knowledge, they are telling the truth, but it then turns out that the same Dipo and Ade are again mentioned in Jonathan's book as having been contacted and what not. What does that tell you?
Dipo and ade never held any correspondence ever with sahara reporters, he only gave the interview to thisday and he has been in contact with oronto douglas by email. It was the same deji that has been in contact with sahara reporters which they have been spinning as anonymous source and one of the students. It was the same him that gave them the contacts of the other two guys and you can see that dipo has never contacted sahara reporters before developed this story.

Correction --- he did not say that. If you read the report, he mentions he has deep personal problems to deal with -- I don't think that translates into what you claim there ooo!!! Shocked

Again, READ THE ARTICLE to see what is being said please. I don't see what you see ooo. I see a story speaking of how two boys whose names were attached were not really contacted, even though the book and facebook claims they were.
Dipo was in contact with douglas and he has personal issues so he did not give sahara reporters any story before they published this news and also he has never been in contact with them in the past either as one of the students or anonymous source. I spoke with him on the phone about the sahara reporters part so i know what transpired between them.

Stop bickering about SaharaReporters and read the report please to understand how your version of what happened can only be considered a super twist of what is contained in the article itself.
I know for sure because it is deji that has been in contact with sahara reporters and not dipo so why all the twist of one student and anonymous source.
Politics › Re: . . . . . . And The President Lied! by Pharoh: 9:44pm On Mar 28, 2011
The Finland-based students Dipo Daramola, Oladeji Ikuesan and Adewale Adeyemo stated that there was no contact whatsoever from Mr. Jonathan’s office to further discuss their proposal   on how to address the nation’s kidnap crisis.
But the students said they were dismayed that they never heard from any of Mr. Jonathan’s aides. One of them said they felt “used and dumped by the president to promote his Facebook activities.”
Who is this student contacting sahara reporters and speaking for the group when after sahara reporters already got the whole story. They contacted dipo to confirm if the story is true and he said he is not discussing the story with them because of personal issues. So why was his name included in the students that denied the claim that the president has contacted them?.
Mr. Omokri admitted that, based on his knowledge of what transpired behind the scenes, he did not think that the assertion in the book was accurate.
Mr. Omokri also said he was worried that Mr. Daramola's colleagues were slightly desperate and could have orchestrated a negative campaign against the president over the issue. But one of the students denied the charge, describing themselves as young patriotic Nigerians who were drawn to the idea that Jonathan was sincere in asking Nigerians to engage with him on Facebook to find solutions to the nation’s crises.
Who is speaking for oronto douglas, is it himself or one of the students?

The quote below is what was written in the book and what is the lie there?

After months of silence from the President’s office, the students in Finland heard that Mr. Jonathan had published a book about his Facebook exchanges. “We were very surprised, if not shocked, to learn that we were featured in the president’s ‘Facebook’ book where it is claimed that the Finland students were ‘promptly invited for consultations’. It never happened,” said a source.
They were invited for consultations through facebook and is that not the reason why they have been waiting to hear from the aids of the president?. What is the lie there that they were invited for consultation or are the students denying that?   This was goodlucks response to him which has been followed up because they sent the invite to dipo only and not the other students from my conversation with him some hours ago.

I am proud of the work he is using his intellect to achieve. Dipo, Someone from my office will be in contact with you to explore the possibilities of deploying this technology for use by our security agencies." Jonathan wrote.

Kobojunkie:
When did Deji become an outcast? I mean you just said the two guys are friends, now are you saying the two friends are not telling the same story in this?
Yes they are not telling the same story, dipo and ade are the owner of the projects and it was a school project they were working on for a lecturer in their school. Goodluck was talking about the kidnapping issue on facebook when deji posted a comment about the project. The aids of the president contacted him and from there he got an invitation to make an interview with thisday newspaper. No one knew how possible the deji of a guy fitted his name into the thisday publication. There was trouble about that episode but because they are all friends so they let it slide in other not to shame him. He was the aggressive member disturbing the aids to work on the project and he is definitely the one that contacted sahara reporters anonymously that they have not been invited when the book was launched by the president.

You can see from the story that sahara reporters contacted dipo and he said he is not interested so all those stories written there was not from him and definitely not ade who is a pastor. All this troubles resurfaced some three days ago because deji was the one who gave sahara reporters the phone numbers to call dipo and ade. There are three students and there is no way anyone who have spoken for them or acted as a source in this whole mess. Dipo said it clearly that he is not having a discussion about the matter and also the ade guy has not said anything.

Look at it very well, sahara reporters has been saying one students, anonymous source and another of the students. They have been in contact with the three students so let them state clearly who said this and that instead of using those claims.

The president claimed on more than one occassion that he actually takes time to read and respond to the comments on Facebook. He also quoted some of the comments on Facebook in HIS book. If what happened on Facebook is to be blamed on the aide, are we then to assume the book is not Jonathan Goodluck's work as well but that of the same aide??
Off course he manages it too when he has time but the bulk of the workload falls on the shoulders of his aids. The claim in the book was that they were invited for consultation which was with dipo but the deji of a guy who was already an outcast is the one that has been contacting sahara reporters to make all this claim.

Kobojunkie:
That is a no brainer and does not answer the question or the claims you made.
It is not compulsory you trust me, i have said my part and they are from first hand communication i am having with the students involved. When this blows beyond the present stage then everything will come out in the open. The guy deji was for goodluck initially but later moved to buhari and ribadu, he is also a member of the save nigeria group. He is busy everyday abusing goodluck on his facebook page and at the same time negotiating for project contract with the president.

I doubt that because he was not the one even managing the page and he asked those same aids to compile the whole engagement on the facebook page. The same aids that would have been responsible in contacting the students. See dipo was the group leader and owner of the project with the other guy called ade, they have not in any one day have any contact with sahara reporters so is it not clear that it is oladeji that has been contacting them. Sahara reporters are now trying to spin it as one source and anonymous source, that guy is a die hard buhari fan so how will that same person be contacting goodluck for a security project. Is that not hypocrisy, he was the aggressive member described in that group and i know all of them involved personally. I just spoke with dipo on the phone, the ade is a pastor and deji is a business student. Anonymous post does not mean that they do not know the actual person who sent the story.Iam talking about those who post stories and not those who give anonymous comments on the comments threads. There are three people involved in this case with the president so why would an anonymous source be speaking for the student group as they stated below?.

Please can you post the full article and the phrase from that book says they were invited for consultations and not what this shameless student said below.

One of the students, who spoke to SaharaReporters anonymously, said none of them was ever invited to present their proposals.
The leader of the group rightly said that he is not discussing this issue with sahara reporters so they should state clearly who has been contacting them and speaking for the group ( or himself ).

1)
When SaharaReporters reached Dipo in Finland, he said he wasn't willing to speak regarding the issue claiming he had a deep personal issue to deal with at the moment.
How can someone who never gave you guys a response could be included in the people that rebuffed the claim from the presidency below?

The Finland-based students Dipo Daramola, Oladeji Ikuesan and Adewale Adeyemo stated that there was no contact whatsoever from Mr. Jonathan’s office to further discuss their proposal on how to address the nation’s kidnap crisis.

2)
On July 21, 2010 Mr. Daramola and his friends, who are studying business information technology in Finland, had written on Mr. Jonathan's facebook page that they were working on a project called the GPS gate, GPS trace, and Google Maps on a mobile device to trace the location of mobile devices. They suggested that their research could enhance security in Nigeria and curtail crimes by deploying satellite positioning. The three students told Mr. Jonathan that they did not want to be part of the brain drain from Nigeria, but wished to return to serve in Nigeria provided his government was “ready to support our visions and goals for our great nation.”
This was a terrible lie as it was dipo only who actually posted on jonathan's page and only two of them were working on the projects not the three of them. This is the comment of one them right now on hiw facebook status

Hmm, I have a reply here, though I was brought into the project later to bring in business approach. The others are the main owners of the (IT) project. Nigerians deserve the truth, wonders shall never end. It's not a news to Nigerians in Finland that no one was ever contacted, so, how come with the rhetoric lies! If any contacted Dou, glas then it's in 2011. God I beg ooo! Bunch of liars! Thanks you Sahara Reporters.
How can you thank sahara reporters when you where the one that has been contacting them anonymously? angry You were brought into the project after there has been a contact on facebook and there was need for commercialization but sahara reporters said you were part of the IT development. For the records we knew what you did to include your name in that publication in thisday newspapers.

But the students said they were dismayed that they never heard from any of Mr. Jonathan’s aides. One of them said they felt “used and dumped by the president to promote his Facebook activities.”

where it is claimed that the Finland students were ‘promptly invited for consultations’. It never happened,” said a source.

Another of the students told SaharaReporters that a fellow named Reno Omokri informed them,

One of the students
, who spoke to SaharaReporters anonymously, said none of them was ever invited to present their proposals. Mr. Omokri said he washed his hands off the issue and had asked the students to contact Mr. Douglas directly.
I definitely know this one and anonymous student that has been contacting sahara reports and come to think of it sahara reporters does not publish news from anonymous sources so what is difficult from them in identifying one of the three students. I can authoritatively tell here that only one student has been contacting sahara reporters and causing this trouble just because he is for buhari.

I challenge sahara reporters to come out and state how they got the phone numbers of the whole students to call them if it was not the same anonymous guy that supplied them all this information.

Aisha2 you need not try to play the devil's advocate here. This current episode certainly isn't the first time GEJ gets caught pants down. Why would he publish a book claiming that he's been discussing with the young lads when indeed it is not true? So every gaffe by GEJ should now be blamed on his aides. Did any one chose those aides for him. One fundamental quality which GEJ lacks is his ability to chose aides who will discharge their duties honestly and not jus for what they stand to gain.

In a nut shell, GEJ has once again been caught lying.
There was absolutely no lie because what was written in that book was the actual truth that transpired. Like i said there was misunderstanding within the group and one of them who has a personal grudge to grind with the president was the one that caused all this mess. I just talked with the leader of the student group and the actual guy that had the main project and all has been revealed to me now.
