They referenced the punch newspapers so the blame should go to punch but truly this is very wrong reporting.

If one man cannot take more than 140million Nigerian citizens seriously, why should we take him serious. i am a fan of GEJ, what he did, is beginning to make me have double mind. if he can neglet the whole Nigeria, now that he has not gotten what he wants, is it when he gets what he want that he will behave well?
Goodluck neglecting Nigerians does not imply that the opposition will go that route as well, please read the post by londoner after you.

GEJ boycot NN24 debate without any reason through "Absenteeism". The trio give notice & reason to boycot BON debate. But Mr. President could have time to do "a make-belive" interview with D'Banj (an entertainer), Can u imagine that?
He couldn't call on Frank Edoho of WWTBAM for the interview but only to be interviewed by an entertainer. Does he want to turn d whole 9ja to Musical Country?
The actions of goodluck does not stop them from using every medium to reach out to Nigerians. It is even more of a slap that this debate was organized by reputable organizations in Nigeria.

EVERYTHING PAT UTOMI WROTE IS 10000% CORRECT. THOSE INTENDING ''leaders'' WHO PREFER TO DEBATE ON FOREIGN-OWNED STATIONS LIKE NN24 RATHER THAN NIGERIAN STATIONS, SHOULD BURY THEIR HEADS IN SHAME.

GEJ/SAMBO 2011
Shekauru even came up with a reason today that it is because NN24 is more credible than NDEG and BON.   shocked

It is there in 234next, fresh news and no comments yet but i will try and post it later.

sbeezy8:
^^^ o ok I thought he was invited.
I think he has attended one small debate but not high profile and i think he will be attending the BON debate. He wants to participate but he has not been invited. There is a debate coming up today with the six top candidates and surprisingly shekarau is not there. He is not there because the poll was conducted before his popularity rose due to the NN24 debate. Utomi will be there so you can follow the debate live as it will come up later tonight and i think chris okotie will be there too.

Those are genuine volunteers like most of the people on NL not pdp volunteers that are paid peanuts
honeric01:
Common people like us, not the ones who are already getting tax break from the PDP government
Not those who have monopolized our economy
the likes of Dangote, the likes of Odetola.
Every party has genuine volunteers and it doesn't matter how they got their money because even tinubu a thief is funding ACN and sani abacha is using is fathers loot to fund CPC.

All na the same thing, there is no credible party in nigeria so stop deceiving yourself.

But PAT wasnt there so and he is running for president so . . . .

I mean that just makes him as dum.b as the other candidates
You only go for debates in Nigeria if you were invited, he was not invited because NN24 said he is not among the top four potential candidate.
Politics › Re: If You Become Nigera's President Today, What Is The First Thing You'll Do? by Pharoh: 2:52pm On Mar 25, 2011

Fashola is doing wonders in Lagos please tell me how many people he jailed to to start doing that?. I am not implying that those big thieves should be left but fighting corruption goes beyond that. Our corruption problems is so diverse that buhari and ribadu jailing some high profile thieves does not qualify them to fight the enormous corruption facing us.

There has been corruption going on in the banks but how many did ribadu solve?, there is still corruption going on now and jailing cecila ibru and co does not sole that. Corruption is every, jamb, schools, waec, business transactions, monopolies in doing business. Jailing high profile thieves only does not cut it for me but the whole sick nation has to be fixed. We have corruption at the airports, seaports just name anything and we have to fight those but sorry ribadu and buhari does not comprehensively cut it for me not even 10% but that is not saying i do not recognize their past effort.

We need long lasting solutions to fighting corruption and not jailing people in one government and they will spring up in the next government. Please trust me, i don't believe in parties so blaming pdp in your response to me does not add to your points. You can see that i said a fashola can fight corruption and not ACN as a party, fixing Nigeria takes a group of committed people and not political parties.

You want to know my verdict?, a fashola of lagos state will fight corruption better than ribadu. It is by brain, sophisticated policies, checks and balance and not boasting to jail high profile thieves. Look at fashola's accountability and making sure that there is no hole to steal ( not perfect with tinubu around ). You create waterproof systems that people will find it hard to steal and not a system that they can steal and you will start chasing the 1% that you know.
Politics › Re: A Revolution In The Making Buhari Bakare (Tears Of Joy) by Pharoh: 2:33pm On Mar 25, 2011
Good message in itself for Nigeria to stand up to fix their country but after there is nothing much take from.

Salvation of Nigeria is not in the hands of a political party but a collection of Nigerians who are ready to save it.

Jail this and that tongue - u r all wasting your time - Corruption is in veins of every single Nigerian

Solution: Denote a nuclear bomb 100 times the size of the one dropped in Hiroshima .
This is one of the most reliable option, it is either the country divides or they wipe the country and its population even those living abroad.

People are shouting corruption like they don't know that it is embedded in over 90% of the Nigerian population. Fighting corruption in Nigeria is not by jailing high profile thieves but a very comprehensive solution that goes down even to the smallest action in Nigeria.

Sorry dude, there's no castigation here. It just shows that all men are born equal, GEJ has a right to refuse, just as the other three guys do. They have just decided to make use of their fundamental human rights!
So why has there been people castigating goodluck when he did not attend the first debate or the one to be held tomorrow?. He can choose to attend the dbanj concert so he should be left to the consequences of his choice.

Hasn't it been already stated that this project was initiated by the late Yaradua? Now team GEJ arrives to steal the glory. How convenient.
Why don't we praise the person who built original tracks before yar adua came in?. We should also praise jakande for the work fashola wants to do with the mono rail project in lagos. OBJ is credited with the gsm revolution in nigeria but why are we not praising IBB for doing the initial ground work. This is not about commissioning a project but he made it to come into fruition. Yar adua also built on the work of OBJ so why are we not praising him as well?. Please give commendation to who deserves it. Fashola is receiving praises in lagos state but some of those works were built on tinubu's initial effort as well.

Unilag will take full credit for producing a first class graduate but why are we not praising the efforts placed on that candidate initially at the primary and secondary school level?.

Thank you for being objective and seeing the big picture, concert debate, dinner or whatever can still be used to pass your message across to the candidates. Use whatever strategy that you can make use off to negotiate and talk with these candidates. If moses is not going to the mountain then carry the mountain to him, that's how it is done instead trying to be more holy than dbanj.

The best strategy would have been for eldee to attend the debate and as goodluck is there just stop your performance and tell the president that we want him for a debate. Tell him the whole youth in Nigeria will not vote for him if he cannot find time before the election to attend a debate. Tell him to fix a date and if he doesn't come then tell the youth not to vote for him and see if he will not make it. It is not always about trying to be holy, sometimes play dirty to get what you want but anyway let us all live with our respective actions.

They are facing difficulties because of the politicians; take for instance the one near me. How can you award such a high technology and expensive project to a company owned by a former soldier named Anthony Ukpo? He was a former military ad i suppose. The project seems to have run underground now; it appears of course that government may not have released funds now they want to get another company from South Africa to take it over and convert it to a public private partnership.

Do you guys know the billions that been sunk there? The whole thing is fast becoming another TINAPA
What you described above is true and it cuts across all parties in Nigeria and not only pdp. The case of tinapa and the mono rail projects will not work quickly because of the problems identified in the link below.

http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5685070-146/railway_act_may_stall_enugu_mono-rail.csp

Our problems goes beyond corruption and we should try to see the big picture sometimes.
Politics › Re: The Trains Are Back! Nigeria Is Moving Forward! by Pharoh: 10:18am On Mar 24, 2011
Goodluck is a silent achiever but people are not going to see that but we just want to hear propaganda and whatever the opposition is sprouting out of their mouth.

Cheap propaganda; none of the monorail projects are anywhere near complete and will end up being a white elephant project. Truth be told 10 years from now we will still be saying the same thing about this rail stuff.
Do you know why those projects are facing some form of difficulties?.

Still have to study that in details but the health sector is okay for me, education is okay but not good enough. The governance part is just not buying my support but the power, Niger delta aspect are fairly okay as well. For now it is not a bad manifesto but Nigeria needs more than that and so they have to go further down into details and other aspects. At the end of the day it is not about writing a blue print but implementing it in such a difficult terrain as Nigeria.

That is not a problem but if you are not biased why have you not commented on the analysis of shekaru and goodluck? . Please try and go through the post by marvix to see the analysis which he gave.
