Politics › Re: The Wars Yoruba Fight By Yinka Odumakin by PHijo(m): 5:12pm On Feb 02, 2021
Sani Abacha won the 'war' against Yoruba! 2015 brought in all those who lost power through his death into the corridors of power. I doubt they will give up that advantage so easily. They may prefer breaking up the country than giving up power again.

Yoruba leaders like Tinubu and Obasanjo were motivated by bigotry, hate, greed and short sightedness.

Unfortunately for them, it is too late to turn the hands of the clock.

Is this how "Biafra" would be?

I am glad my Ijaw people are vocal in their rejection of Biafra. Despite Biafra being our name we have left it for Igbo people. Let them have their country or form a country with those who choose to be together with them.

For us, our experience in the defunct eastern region makes Biafra totally unattractive for us.

Does that mean Nigeria is okay? No! Does that mean we want Nigeria to split? Not necessarily!

Would we be pleased if it splits? That's a difficult one to answer. It would depend on how and into how many bits it splits.

We will do our best to make Nigeria work but we will not do that at the expense of our people's peace and progress.

Fulani and Yoruba one Nigeria supporters should know that a rejection of Biafra is not an endorsement of the fraudulent Nigeria you have created in the last 51 years.

Niger Delta gas!

Was that why the Morrocan government created controversy in the build up to the 2015 presidential polls?
Politics › Re: Obasanjo: With State Police, Amotekun Won’t Be Necessary by PHijo(m): 7:37am On Feb 02, 2021
With state police things will get worse! A better solution may be LGA police. Caps can be placed on the number of active policemen each LGA is allowed to have, these caps will be determined by peculiarities like geography, population etc.

I don't support state police! Mostly in multiethnic or multi religious states it will be abused.

A more reasonable approach is to restructure Nigeria into maybe 36 provinces that would be largely along ethnic lines. Those provinces could be further broken down to counties. The counties should have local police forces.

The NPF should then function like FBI functions in America.

And what do you mean by those states i mention could be better off than Rivers state are you ok? If those states are so great, their women won't be whoring their lives away on the streets of port harcourt. tongue

Talking about crimes, we all know the people who are notorious for committing crimes everywhere they go. wink

Politics › Re: FG Has Almost Completed The Second Niger Bridge (Picture) by PHijo(m):
Over 1 billion usd for a less than 2km bridge? Is that what you claim is a great achievement?

You can dislike Jonathan but in the 5 years he was in charge he did more infrastructural projects than Obasanjo and late Yar'Adua did in their 11 years in charge.

When Jonathan took over oil production was at an all time low of 800,000 barrels per day. He never blamed his predecessors, he worked towards increasing it to 2.2 million barrels. More than 4,000 megawatts of power generation was added to Nigeria's grid.

Local content law that has boosted local participation in the oil industry was done by him. Several airports were built or remodelled. Many new universities were built, Obasanjo, late Yar'Adua or Buhari built none.

Except for the private universities Obasanjo and his vice, Atiku built for themselves.

Free money from who?

If people should accused of wanting free money it is you Nigerians. You, your states, LGAs and FGN are all feeding fat on oil producing ethnic nationalities.

No, many executives offer their kinfolk slots instead of locals. Most of these slots being sold were meant to be sold from the onset. They are bribes given to individuals. If slots are meant for the locals the companies know how to advertise such slots in a transparent manner.

If I don't know Rivers State I would have passed. But let me tell you something about rivers State.

2005 February 17th I bought 50 speed boat with double engine, for Bonny Island, wholesale price, I never made profit from that business,

The old boat owners saw me as a threat, they sabotaged my boat, my boat was sinking on every trip, similar thing happening to Peace motors, thousands of people still died after I held prayer and fasting.

Just Forget these people, they are their own problems, they don't want to go to school, they don't have hand work. only bunkering and cultism. and sex

I wanted to buy land they refused selling to me as a non indigiene, yet the indigiene don't have a language, they lost their language during slavery,
You are greedy and wicked!
50 speed boats for Bonny island?! It is obvious you wanted to destroy every other business plying that route.

I guess you sent people to school and they refused to attend! What about those who attended?

Your kinfolk forge fake identities to take up jobs that should naturally be for the host communities.

Did I hear you say sex? Yet over 90 percent of the commercial sex workers in Rivers state are not indigenous?

Governor Wike said most of the armed robbers come from states like Anambra. We have been less fortunate with the kind of states we have within our vicinity.

Actually as a Yoruba man, the guy is telling you some truth.
Nah because I schooled in the east and I have been to some places in SS.
An average Yoruba man calls anywhere after Edo state as Igbo land.

Most Yoruba cannot differentiate between An Igbo man from Ibiobio man or calabar man.

But Ijaws are a bit different some Yorubas will differentiate you in your dresses while some won't.
That's why I always laugh at some Igbo's rejecting ikwerrwe or aniomas.

An average Yoruba man knows these tribes in the south, Edo/Benin, Igbo and Ijaw (that's because of GEJ influence)

And an average Yoruba man can't differentiate an Urhobo guy from IJaw or isoko (me self I'm yet to differentiate between the two (isoko and urhobo) )
It is understandable if you can't differentiate between Urhobo and Isoko. Lots of similarities between both.

My biggest problem is when people refuse to understand these differences yet they want to make decisions that would affect those people's lives.

It also shows they don't respect other people in Nigeria, if they did they will learn more about them.

I wonder why the major ethnic groups in Nigeria feel it is right to be ignorant!

The same way Yoruba and Igbo people have referred to every group in the North as Hausa.

Ok I heard you,but how many Yoruba, hausa, kanuri and fulani people can differentiate between ijaw and Igbo?
If you don't want to learn more about your country then there is no need for it to exist because your refusal to learn more about it is behind all of her problems.

While people like you pray for destruction of Nigeria, many pray for Nigeria's upliftment

If you were God, whose prayer would you answer?! The Destruction or the Upliftment

Bitterness is self destructive and people would continue to avoid bitter , hateful people.. even if they call it bigotry or Marginalisation or Xenophobia

.
God will answer the prayer of people like me who have been subjected to hate and marginalisation in the last 60 to 70 years.

People Nigeria has taken all from and given them nothing in return.
